NCSOFT should never give in!!!!!!!!!!! event was fine as it was.
Oh please. The changes to the event are 100% called for -- why bother having an XP event if you don't get extra XP? The new event will achieve what it set out to do.
Having a game where you can't get anywhere unless you started from day 1 is dumb. Players who start today will -never- catch up to day 1'ers, even with XP events 24/7/365. New players will -never- be "kings of the sever," but that's OK. As a new player myself, all I want to do is get into the same realm of existence as everyone else -- this means being able to participate in PvP events like castle sieges, RB fights, etc.
We all know the game doesnt "really" start until you get S-grade and helping new players get there slightly faster and cheaper is not a bad thing. S80 and beyond is still as hard, time consuming, and expensive as ever and just as rewarding to those day 1-ers who get there. Letting new players catch up faster does not and should not reduce the satisfaction you have for attaining your Dynasty gear. You will still be the king of the server, except now you may have more people worshipping you.

Funny, but unfortunately true. There are endless stories of top-level players selling their cars or spending 2, 5, $10k, or more on adena from farming websites. Running 9-man bot trains is much more economical ($1300 per -year- of farming) and therefore a much more common way of cheating! Plus many sell adena from their 9-man trains and can essentially run the accounts for free. All of the adena they dump into their hero chars are the 'leftovers.'
Sound like a familiar story? Everyone knows "top" clans such as RDogs on Aria do it! :)
Throwing legit players a bone now and then is the least NCSoft can do... really, they should just ban the cheaters and we wouldn't be asking for events like these.

the game was much more hardcore for lower levels at "day 1" then it is now, and thats ok. You can get a nice level now in 3 Month while day-1 players needed 3 years+ for the same level back in the chronicles 1-5 .. the grind yust starts later now, but its not such a big advantage having the pleasure to be a NC-customer for 5 years or more. They dont even have veteran-rewards like in many other mmorgs .. "veterans" didnt even get the birthday-buff.
For example .. getting the 50k no-grade weapon was a real achivement at "day1" ... its like c or b-grade now.

Something is implemented --> Community gives feedback --> Game provider either uses the feedback to improve the implemented feature or simply ignores the feedback.
Personally I'd much rather have NCSoft using our feedback to improve the event instead of ignoring it.

no thank you, i would prefer playing lineage not some wow or aion that if i want i can go and play them. and in pvp its already enough animation with all those surrenders, debufs and abnormal size war tags. PLEASE DON'T put more animations about armor... i dont even talk about lag that all this animation will produce.

The only thing I cry about are the bots that never gets banned...farmer bots get hit regulary, but the worst botters of them all never gets banned and I'm talking about the bots in the "strong" PvP clans that spend more time activating/deactivating their bot program than actually controlling their own character.
And if my memory serves me right...you where in constant bot trains on Lionna so you should be carefull who you call a baby since most of those babies actually spend time PLAYING their character the way it was meant to be...grind up and have some PvP on the way up. Not bot to level 80+, get S80 gear, OE skills to +15 or way higher and bot some more if they die often in PvP to maintain their level.

Castle siege needs to be fixed first before TW. How are you supposed to take wards back when a single clan owns almost all of the castles on the server?
It will be the end for the NA servers,if EU players will not have the permission to play in them.
