I quit playing my WS because of that...started a new character.
Jesus. That's a lot of work, isn't it? Why don't they just allow WS and OLs to switch sub to main? They could make it an exception to the current rules and not allow anyone, still, to sub them if they haven't originally been their main character. Seems that would be hella simpler.
So does your main retain the sub skills it was awarded when the sub reached 65, 70, 75 and 80? If so, in theory this could allow one to keep doing infinite subs.
Not that reaching 75 on subs is a trivial thing for honest players, of course.
But that's not a screenshot. That's merely a concept picture showing how character transfers work.
It's possible that the picture wasn't updated after the extra character slots were granted. And no reason to anyway, since the purpose was to show how a transfer works, not to show how many character slots are available.
If you read through the thread, you can see that I too asked that question and never got an answer. All I have to go by is the second post by PainAmplifier confirming the strange shift of character placements.
Got any Korean friends who currently play Lineage II that can send a screenshot of a full character selection screen? Because I don't.

As you can see Koreans have the exact same blank character slot in the middle, fully disproving that guy's theory. And the chars there have the same layout as the NA client. Obviously no I can't provide a SS with 9 chars since it's not possible and it doesn't exist.
But, I did bring up a valid question. For those who have all character slots filled, would NCSoft grant Korean players an extra character slot (this time)?

No. Click on the pink button on the bottom of the page, the popup says you can't use the service if you have reached the character limit on the server.
It works kinda like the rename service, you need a lvl 1 character on the same server as the character you are detaching the sub from, the lvl 1 is the place/nameholder for the detached sub.
Everyone, BordrX just explained how the service would work and also explained what would happen if a player interested in the service has no extra character slots.
To those who would like to see this service come to fruition but already have all character slots used up, would you like NCSoft to grant players an extra character slot so that you can use the service, or are you fine with deleting a character instead?
Frankly who cares how many character spots there are in reference to this thread? If you have that many characters and you can't afford to delete one so you can have a separated sub in there, you need to rethink things!
In any case, I would totally take advantage of this service as soon as it was offered. I would separate my Cardinal sub so I could level her (not that shes in any danger of the level 80 cap any time soon) without giving up the excessive cuteness (and personal likeness) of my main.
