All servers will be brought down for a quick update today: Thursday, September 3rd at 11am PDT / 1pm CDT / 2pm EDT / 6pm GMT / 7pm BST. Estimated downtime is approximately 60 minutes. This update is necessary for all players to correctly receive Eva's blessing for day 10.
We apologize for having more downtime but this update is required for the 24 hour reward period to successfully occur today.
In addition to the required event update, we will also be correcting a bug related to the summoner skill Summon Friend. Crystals will now correctly be consumed when this skill is used.

All due respect Lyzira, no just no. This event has been a buggy failure since day one.
I know you're just the mouth piece here but the contiunal need to drop the servers down and patch just shows how ill tested the event itself is. Had the event been tested properly or at least pushed back when bugs were recognized I'd agree with you the chests would be quiet appealing. As it stands right now I'm all for just canning the event.
Nope, im not joking, its another day, once ppl of my party log on to play as regulary on HB, and we just cant do it, like since this event start...
Not every1 here is from NA etc, where is morning and ppl dont care.
I have 8pm now and its best and only time when me and alot ppl can play...
Another day when we actually cant play due to crashes/lagz/mantenances/ppl misstakes/other
And, no i rly dont care about 50% sp rune, since i have 500m sp
And, no i rly dont care about revita pop or whatever, since my vit go from 4 to 0 in 20 mins on lvl 81...

Lastnight they came through and put back up the bars we where at .. I am sure they will do it again today since its one of the main days of the event. I am looking forward to getting to 10 bars =).

Relax dude, as others have said, it is because of the event. Just keep those veins from popping another 5 days and you'll be fine. I kind of feel bad for the things I said before to their staff, I feel for them now. S**t happens...
Well one time we (community) blame the NC they don't care, now we blame NC that they care too much ... I am happy about the direction they started to go.
This is actually first event they listened to community very carefully so and I am sure I don't want the old "We try to do our best bla bla, if you have more questions, feel free to contact NC support"
Euro prime time here, we were just buffing up and hitting the first mob, then the downtime message. It's not the end of the world, but it still takes a huge chunk of time out of our evening xp parties. It is a bit annoying, and it would be nice if you could do maintenance downtimes to fix an event please NOT during euro prime time, after all you had the whole day to do this, why not do it 3-4 hours earlier. that would still have been during US business hours, but outside euro prime time.
And before somebody blasts me with the old "omg you idiot, don't play on a US server if you are euro" - this downtime now is for ALL servers, even the euro ones >.<
I know NC US don't care about their users once monthly fee is paid but seriously.
Do same thing in any serious web enterprise and the manager will be fired in no time.
Fixing a servitor bug that only a impacts a class or two and nobody was complaining about..... How about a red crystal graphic? Impacts nearly all players....has resulted in numerous scams.
As a relatively new player to L2 but a long time gamer, I have learned to take forum communities with a giant chunk of salt. This one at first glance seemed like your typical extremely vocal minority(translated QQ). Never happy. Every day it seems NC soft is attempting to prove the whiners right. I hope this company can put a little more time and attention to their gaming community outside of Korea. Forum support is wonderful, thank you Lyzira, but local development and network support would be another huge step in the right direction.

Yeah, this is true. They'll all stop their whining once we get those vitality and SP rewards. I know that I'm really looking forward to them. I like this event. Keep up the good work Lyzira.

I fully agree with you, there is just 1 problem, 1-4 day i said ok, nvm happens, but after yesterday maintenance it just became annyoing, u cant plan anything, ppl get ****** and dont log back, party cant start...
It happen next day again... ppl are more ******, what next?
