Hello everyone. I used to play awhile back. and i was thinking about getting a new account. Hows game now a days. Is it worth coming back and starting from lvl1 with nothing. Whats the best farming class. Was thinking of BD there always awesome in groups.

What servers are lively now adays too.
you used to play a while back?
why not just reopen your old account?
i mean characters sit there for years...
ncsoft still hasn't deleted the beta accounts...

or... have you been doing naughty things?
like selling your accounts to third parties?
You buy new code and add it in your playtime of lineage 2 in your ncsoft account :)
and starting from lvl1 with nothing.

lvl 1-18 in 20 minutes, 1st ccq 15-20 minutes ---> ding lvl 20! get newbie buffs and a normal +3 d-weapon, solo raids 2 hours ---> ding lvl 36. start 2nd ccq 1hour ----> ding lvl 40

Best Farming Class (http://www.lineage2.com/Knowledge/race_dwarf_skill.html?my_class=dwarf_bounty_hunter )

It is said that the Bounty Hunter is a veteran who has the greatest known collecting abilities. He/She is even said to have gathered a dragon's scales. The Bounty Hunter is adept at using the Whirlwind in battle. He/She also possesses many skills related to commercial activities.

I was thinking BD cause there always needed in parties.. Im not gonna duel box cause i can only afford one account. Ill be mosty interested in IT,mos,Pegan,varka/ketra, Plus a Bd is always needed for HB.

You certainly have lofty goals! from lvl 1 to Hellbound! Nice!!!!!

As for solo account that can level, you've mentioned BD twice 'because they are needed in parties'. Okay.

Honestly, if I was starting out truly new and solo, I'd probably choose tyrant over the BD--because nobody will invite anyone else into parties these days except for clanmates. And your clanmates will take along any toon you level. The tyrant can kill effectively when your clanmates aren't in the game. I might even choose Glad over the BD--although human toons tend to be mediocre overall.

I don't know a thing about the wingy classes--never played one. Perhaps someone else who posts can tell you more about those.
For me, starting over today? I'd go in order: 1) tyrant, 2) destroyer, 3) any dagger, 4) give up and finally play a summoner, 5) glad, 6) either non-human nuke-class. Admittedly, I'm a melee guy and don't tend to like mages over much :)

I tend to value "solo-ability" more these days and want to be able to play even when no one else I know is in the game.

Personally wouldn't pick the BD although I have leveled one to b-grade+ and it is a fine toon. Just wouldn't pick as my first and best solo toon.

There will always be a use for BD and SWS, I think. He won't go terribly wrong choosing to be a BD, although there are more enjoyable classes to play, imo.

Re: Kamael -- Soul Breakers (the true "fighter/mage") and Berserkers are "solo-able" and fun to play. I've only leveled the Arbalester to B grade, before losing interest.
think about your end game goals when choosing a character, it is true in a high level clan bd/sws are always very wanted, they are also very boxed.. at least in my clan.
Trick is to like what u are playing and then work out how to play it, even if it means soloing.
If u do plan to solo a lot however, tyrant/destroyer are probably your best bets without any sort of support, when it comes down to it tho, it is not a solo game and u will not get very far soloing unless u are willing to box.
Is it worth coming back to game? L2 is a social game, it is not a great game by any means, It is a game that is kind of good looking that lets the player and the people around them determine how much fun it can be, Find an awesome clan and some fun people to play with and yes it is very much worth getting back into it, If u want to solo, time to sign up for wow imo.
If you read my post i never said best solo class. I plan to party as often as i can or am wanted..
things dont add up for me.
joined may 09 (yes joined date for forum isnt everything) but used to play on freinds account....

so much dont make sense to me O_o (yes i am not a very trusting person)
umm he said he had to start a new account, and like people say time and time again forum join date dont mean nothin.

and to the OP people know you said you wanted a class wanted in groups. they are listing high qualities for solo bc honestly until your in your upper 60's at minimum unless you find a good clan you will prbbly solo most of the time.

overall if you want a highly group friendly character though EE/Bishop
