yeah you right, 1 server per continent man, we cant mess up with the euro servers and their times. it was a good idea to combine some servers but i think they should combine more becuase somehow people are migrating from one server to another.
to krissa, i dont get you. we are all here to make lineage 2 a better game. i love it! i been playing for over 4 years, my only con its that there are times it feels like the server its empty you know? and other con its so many things that makes lvl kind of hard at high lvls
what do you mean by bots on the dead servers? cuase im having this idea that ibet other people had it its to only have 1 or 2 servers per continent u know? = for the states.

We have NA/EU servers,Russian servers,Korean servers,SEA servers.
If you merge all these,the server will exploid from population.
yeah i know that, but im talking about north america servers, 1-2 servers for the states will be more than enough and more fun, even if theres more peopple in one server than the other they should merge it into one. and if you talk about the server exploiting from population come on man, we pay 15 dollars a month so they can provide us with a better server so it can fit more people, if u talk about lagging the same bro, and at the end it will be only fully full on sieges, and thats only for the servers and people competing for so yeah. dont you think guys?

If there was just 1 or 2 servers, bots wouldnt exist in the first place (or they would be very few), so I vote +1.
Reduce NA servers to 1 and Euro servers to 1 as well. That would make Lineage 2 live longer.
But talking realistic here, NC make their profit thru bots, so making something that would reduce or extinguish botters is like shooting in the own foot, so yeah, that won't happen.
Flame away but i would still like a zero tolerance for cheaters server. I really don't see the purpose of playing a game where the cheaters outnumber the legits and the EULA are disregarded.
I've always REALLY REALLY liked this game but i've lost any will to try anymore. It makes no sense to work hard for anything.
So i would support that all the cheaters are put in one server and let them cheat till they are blue...let the legits transgfer to a non cheating server. Of course NC will say they are unable to do this so they will get mad cause this is a circular arguement.
Because i dont want play with smittie in same server, it is why i dont want merge with the immigrants from others servers, we dont need pollutions and plagues from nova or redsky, in luna we are fine with our problems, if only we can close our borders in luna :)

But still bot logic will rule - kill mobs and after death just go back to same spot.
Drop items after death from mob should be FTW against bots. I would love to train bots in that way. But this going off topic.
Good part of merge will be more interactions (good and bad) between players. Bad part, maybe 20k-30k peoples online, or 5k peoples at same area may be too stress full for most non high end PC.
I agree for 2 servers. 2 euro servers of course. Drop the NA ones. Nobody likes them anyway! That'll free the greeks who are lost on the wrong server. :D

Not by most. Take a look on how many pvp/pve/neutral clans exists on each server. And get real, everybody already know that solo~trio till 78 is a lot more effective then making a 9 man party just to hold a spot.

I think Aion is doing that, the server you can play on has to do with where you bought the game. So if i buy it in the States, I can't play on any of the servers for people who bought it in Europe.

There is a game called Eve-Online, spaceship game where all the action takes place in one server ... The peak was about 51 000 ppl online at once ;)

When NCSoft feels that it's a sound idea to lessen the amount of servers currently active in US, due to financial or resource issues they will do it. I don't remember anyone voting for the first server merges, they just made the decision to do so.
Sure the game feels a little light right now and it is possible that a merge may be in the works. So in the meantime, while hunting areas, quests, and/or epic boss competition relatively free on your server, I suggest you take advantage and level up and get as much gear as you can. Because if they do merge servers and all the super high level cheaters, farmers, and *****hats are stuck together on one server, you'll want to at least be able to take 2 hits before you're down.

yes server merging did help in the past so many more people started to play and still play... wait, thats not true.
But I am sure this server merge, alot more people will stay and not leave ****** becuse they lose there clanhall.`...
And one serious question why cant people that want server merge just post in the old topics. Do people really have to state what they want over and over?
not going to happen in that order for the simple fact those servers are not located at the same data center, if mergers happen again it will be like this:
- Bartz 1,4K players & Sayha 1k players & Aria 1,1k players <= 6k max player on a server so doable np
- Phoenix 1.7k & Deviane 1.4k <= 6k max players so also perfectly doable
and unless they start banning alot of ppl on Franz & Luna those won't get merged so EU servers will remain as per current status quo.
Great idea! Why not take it all the way and wipe out everything and start over with just one server and all clans, toons, items all wiped?

LOL I love that part about the super high lvls, it just made my day.
Now will server merge folks explain to me in detail on where I am supposed to get my seal stones the old fashioned way of grinding for them please? If you haven't noticed all the super high lvl *****hats use thier alts on auto in all the cata's and necro's. So would you please inform me where i'm supposed to find a free room in those to get my own seal stones. After another server merge I won't be able to find a free room ever again becuase of that issue so explain away on how and where I am supposed to grind for my own ancient adena.

Get majestic armor, party an EE and a WC. Go kill mobs in stunner rooms. Almost every cata/necro I've been to, I've had multiple rooms to choose from.
I'm up to 2.2 mil GSS from about a week of grinding (only play roughly 3 hours a day on weekdays). But I'm expecting to be able to farm even more when I get higher, since the higher mobs drop larger quantities of it.

Agree for the stun rooms,but it is better going there with a nuker.

In my opinion some servers merges are really needed, when you know that some of them get difficulties to reach above 1k population (with the half which are bots)...
and with Aion comming, the things will be not going better :/...
Alida, what do u expect them to say? If they plan to merge servers, they will keep it a secret until the last minute, when the decision has become final and there is nothing anyone can do or say about it, but just plan for the eventuality. This is always the way NCSoft has worked.

Maybe I was expecting an answer since we have new comminuty manager a bit more talkative :P ! But yeah maybe I am asking for too much.
But it would be good that they don't wait too much (if they have planned to do it): when peoples start to be bored, they never stay too long =x...
How many yrs have the players been asking for more clan halls and still nothing? I'll be amazed if NCSOFT starts listening to the good ideas and stops listening to the bad ones.
