Dominator Gate Chant is a skill that could be very usefull. All S graders like to PVP, so with a Dominator having a clan gate chant you get the whole clan there alot faster ,so why am I about to get flames for suggesting this as a new skill for a Dominator?

But yea why not since like i said it gets a whole clan where you need it alot faster. All you need then is a WC or a Summoner always partied with ya to call in the Dominator 1st if he isn't already there.

but i'm against giving overlords gate chant.
especially one which can potentially summon 147 people.
139+8 in party... assuming it also works on party.
nobody would ever bring a clanned overlord to raids, knowing they can summon an entire clan to ninja the raid from anywhere on server.
now...
being able to summon 1 person would be nice... or even a party would be nice... but not a whole clan.
Nobody wanted a OL arround period unless it was a pvp clan in the days before Vit. So that isn't even an issue to me since i solo mine if not with clan or the 1 friend i party where the party buffing is a nice addition.
Well the clan gate chant is for pvp and an OL is a pvp based toon becuase it has cp heal .So judas has a good idea have it tied into something like that so that it will only work in a pvp environment. Theres more ways to lvl an OL where you don't have to go to a raid party to do it . If noone want's an OL at a raid becuase of this then it's nothing new ,Since like i said noone wanted OL arround before the vit and party buffing they finally got.
I know that's why i never ask to get a party on mine so the buffing non clannies in a party rarely gets used.
You can have 8 of his clannies at a raid and say he's another WC and not have him buff and put him in the 8 clannies of his only party so problem solved. If you really want your OL there with you then you'll find a way to make it happen or the OL leaves the clan becuase he sees just what kinda clan he truely is in.
No Smittie we can't be friends till you learn that having S grade toons doesn't mean diddly squat anymore. That is my playstyle I'm all over the place so deal with it and if you don't like it don't read it. Won't hurt my feelings in the least.

There wouldn't be websites on the internet selling high lvl toons then. Google it sometime becuase I wouldn't have said it if it wasn't happening. Also it does explain the need for those acct services among all the rest of the honest reasons also.
So If I wanted a high lvl Dominator within a few minutes I'd just buy it. Since i'm an honest player I have no reason to do it and my acct will show that fact if anyone needs the GM's to verify.
it's true that some people will spend a lot of not so hard earned cash on a stronger toon, and others will just buy adena for gear... but this is not really allowed by ncsoft, though they're not very good about stopping it.
i have known people who buy and or sell their accounts, and i personally think it's bonkers... anyone wanna buy a 77 dominator? 7,500,000 ancient adena...

Gate chant isn't happening...
though it might be nice to have a summon single target for those situations when there is no other summoner present, this ofcourse would still be a 76+ skill, and would cost as much if not more than gate chant... but would help out in a pinch.
alternatively, maybe clan gate chant could only work on siege fields, and would have a 1 hour or at least 30 minute reuse time. (enlightenment would be a handy dandy tool for that)
this way you cold get onto siege grounds, sneak away, and summon an entire clan to come in and devastate like a .
Not a bad idea making it only useable at a seige. Reason i was even thinking about it is the troop leaders can call reinforcements. The Doomcryers can call in a party ,so why not an Overlord calling in a clan? That was where the idea came from.
yeah, so much role play...
that is also why i suggested single target having more land rate than aoe effect on debuffs. because if you focus your chanting, you could maybe ritually debuff someone from a further distance than the standard aoe effect... but ncsoft doesn't take into account all role play aspects of character types... otherwise, darkelves and light elves still would hate eachother.

Well if a Doomcryer is in a clan that consists of a full party then he can joke and say he has a clan gate chant.
I was under the assumption that Summoners had a limit on how they summon friends. Meaning i thought they had a limit or had to have your name somehow like being in a party.
Could someone be kind enough to explain that to me becuase i'm wondering now if a Summoner can summon an entire clan if they have summoning crystals on them. If so then what i'm asking is already in game technically.

You really shouldn't and should know by now when i'm running my mouth just to run it and when i'm actually not just running my mouth. You have watched this fool enough so why haven't you learned yet? Alot of other players probably learned after 2 posts.
Summoners can only summon 1 player, they have to be in party and the player, who wants to be summoned need to have a summoning crystal in his inventory. To summon a full party, they have to do it for every single partymember (one after the other), which needs some time.
Doomcryer can summon (gate) the complete party at once. In this case the Doomcryer needs to have 4 summoning crystals in his inventory, the partymembers dont need them.
This is the difference.
Maybe you can now imagine how long it will take for a summoner to bring lets say 4 partys to a spot.

People were probably claiming that dual daggers would never get into the game back in 2005 or 2006 when i was asking for them. So with this idea I wouldn't say it won't ever make it into game becuase it is possible but maybe highly unlikely.
Pretty odd that some players want to think it's a bad idea to get all your clan to a pvp spot as fast as possible in order to dominate that group right off the bat. Then buff up while your waiting on the other clan to get the rest of it's members there to pvp some more. Becuase they didn't have a Dominator online at the time. So they got smoked.

You might just be a bit narrow minded. Maybe the ppl that say its a bad idea with clan gate chant has looked at all the possible scenarios it would bring, deemed it overpowered and just said no?
No such thing as overpowered when you play for fun and don't take this game seriousely.
You obviously take this game seriously, and with ur character levels I don't see how you can really say you "play" the game...
