namechange/server transfer

we all know u can use transfer service evry 6 month..
but i heard U can 'avoid' 6 months penalty if u do name change before..

is that true? is it bug or u changed something and u forgot to tell ppl about it??

Wouldn't be wiser to open a ticket to NCsoft,to avoid misunderstandings?

i got confirmation from ppl already..but im shocked a bit..

Moneys for service's is not all..where are rulez:(
i found info we can use it evry 6 months, and now boom..u can do it evry 2 weeks

Server transfers didnt exist "a few years ago".

What I want to know is why does it show the normal price for someone that has had there account for play time of over 2 years. When they brought out the account services they said it would be cheaper for the longer you have paid for your account. Went into one of my accounts with 2 years and 6 months and its normal $50.

Maybe its for customers that has been around for 3, 4 or 5 years?

never heard anything about that tbh...

you only get a discount of 50% if u purchase the box set which can be bought pretty cheap if you know where to look and contains for like 1,5 months of free game timecards, a lil statue & art book as well

They said it when they first came out with service and could have sworn it wsa for customers 2+ years.

Frankly I think $50 is too steep no matter who you are, but that's NCSoft for you: a prohibitive bent to most gaming solutions.

Not True sir. They were announced at Gen Con a few years ago by Marketing and GMSpam and then they were brought in just before the server consolidation and / or the new server being created. That is why you could not select to transfer to the new server until the population leveled up.

I thought server merge was less than 2 years ago...
