All servers will be brought down at 8am PDT / 10am CDT / 11am EDT / 3pm GMT / 4pm BST on Tuesday, September 15th for server maintenance. Estimated downtime is approximately two hours.
During maintenance, we will be updating soul crystal icon images to correct an issue that was preventing red soul crystals from appearing in player inventories. We will also be removing all event seeds from the game.
they know which isp is causing it and the fact they're running all their NA Aion servers over the same network isn't helping one bit, wait for when Aion goes Live on Friday, 18th Sep to see how bad it will get..
this has been impacting a lot of players on both servers with the worse yet to come, saying it's not their problem goes only as far as their willingness to hold on the few players left in this game as I for one will not stay if this lag keeps up.

about time...I'm amazed it took you "only" 2 months to fix 1 word at 10 lines of text (10 words in total) to get the icon back...
draecke.. they can't. it's NOT in their system.... talk to your ISP... it's between your ISP and NCSoft.... likely not in either of them...
Why does everyone lag at the same time then? both same time in the month/week/day, all the way down to >20 people in vent getting hit by game(lag)freezes at the same time down to the second, and here's the kicker, across multiple NCSoft games: Aion, GW, Lineage 2 all freeze up at the same time for everybody, no matter nationality, Europe will get hit simultaneously with north and south America
Couldn't possibly be on NCsofts side.
I'm sure it's just a huge coincidense 1/trillion coincidense that happens multiple times/day
It definitely is something NCSoft CAN influence. They did nothing as long as it was just L2 players, but when the Aion open beta was about to fail due to horrendous lag, they finally worked on it - and since they did some modifications during a downtime of the Aion servers, my CONSTANT lag on Phoenix disappeared, too. And my route to the Phoenix server CHANGED after that one downtime.
Now I have no lag on Phoenix at all as long as the Aion servers are down, and only slight lag when the Aion beta servers were up and everybody+his grandmother was playing there/downloading updates. And Phoenix/Devianne are in the same data centre as the Aion beta servers. Also, whenever the Aion beta servers were up, lag increased for everybody I know, and the lag went away again as soon as the was a downtime for the Aion servers. See here the influence of Aion beta server downtime on my lag on Phoenix:
Coincidence? No. It *is* something NCSoft can fix, if they just would bother trying to do so. But it seems they can't be arsed as long as it is just a problem of "those few L2 players". As soon as their precious new Aion game is in danger, they finally do something.
