Ok my l2 account expired and i can't reactivate it. Account Management page is impossible to access cause of the 21345324523435 aion kids that try to get their CE items and spam the site all the time.
While we are expecting some slow response times on our account management websites, you should still be able to access your account and we are currently working on the website slowness and should have it resolved very soon.

Last Years was awesome a lot of friends stopped by and we partied all night! Then at the Witching Hour we were off to hunt the dead that walk the ruins and cemetery's. yup yup this years will be a fine Halloween Party too!

we'll have vitality halloween event, where you'll just have to farm 10k items to have a chance to get a box to have a chance to get a rune that will increase your xp boost for 10% during 5 mins. :-)
I demand NC put in NPC's throughout the world who you go talk to and say trick or treat and they give you candy. You collect so much candy and at the end of the event your given a reward for having so much candy :D

Why does the Korean game gets big awards
and here on nc america/europe we get D and C grade stuff
when almost everyone is A grade +++ or S grade +++
and in desperate need of a push in the back
in the enchant event for example
on korean server, it wasnt a stupid staff u had to trade in
but u actually received REAL S grade ++++'d duals
and u got to keep them after event was over
so u had the choice, or u turned in the S duals to get a chance
a real chance on a S80 armor or u simply kept u'r OE S grade duals
THAT is a reward
and when u look on the korean site
u dont have to read korean to understand the pictures
to see what the rewards are

very very true, got bored of L2 a couple times and quit to play WoW.
lasted about 2 months each time before reaching lvl cap and gettin top gear........then eternal boredom...........TADA right back to L2
Aion is a psychological rehment for those who
cant take the slow leveling of L2 annymore
or those who reached (or botted) to max level
and now have nothing annymore to do then ...
to look for another game

To be fair though, Aion isn't WoW. It's not THAT quick to level up. Sure, it's nowhere near as tough as L2 obviously, but it's not easy-mode either. Sorta in the middle of WoW and L2, if you can imagine that. For me, it's a pretty good balance actually.
L2 is still a serious gamers' game though. No doubt about that. And I won't be quitting any time soon. L2 is like, a long term project for me. I won't quit until I get to 85 even if it takes years more. I will play other games, sure. But L2 will always be there as an idle process, as something to go back to between other things :)
PS. One thing that I REALLY LIKE ABOUT Aion is nothing to do with the game itself. It's the website! You can check if you sold stuff, or check your in-game mail from the website. You can see whether your friends are online or not. You can get a graph of your leveling progress over the last x weeks. You can look up information on any character's stats or gear - click my character name links in the Aion part of the signature below to see what I mean...

Is there any reason to play L2 anymore ?
We lost our all our support staff, Aion has taken most of our active players, and G final + has been out in korea for 4 months now and not even a mention of anything beyond it?
L2 was and will always be a failure for NCSoft. It was never given the amount of attention and support it needed.
I know my L2 time is winding down. I been faithful for 5+ years now but there is no one left to recruit, no new players and most of my clan has now moved onto aion.
I have tried other mmorpg's but I will never play a mmorpg like L2 again, we can all agree it has brought as much heartbreak as it has good memories. It is not something I would want to go through again.
Funny Fact, Farmers only exist because the players make a market for them, and give them a reason to be there. It's only a matter of time before the Aion community starts looking like the L2, and just about every other MMO where the community blames the gaming company because of the farmers, when really they aren't even the ones responsible for it.
In Aion, you actually already are pm'ed by sellers offering in-game currency and "powerlvl 1-50" (50 is max lvl), 3 days after the game went live on the euro servers. That's just silly, buying powerlvl for a char as soon as the game goes live and before the normal players have even reached the game zones with the mobs which you have to kill for lvl 40-50.
I know my L2 time is winding down. I been faithful for 5+ years now but there is no one left to recruit, no new players and most of my clan has now moved onto aion.
I feel the same, pretty much. There is absolutely NO influx of new players anymore, so the usual "bleeding" the non-top clans experience cannot be countered anymore.
If somebody wants to experience the contested end-game content, he has to join one of the top clans and take the daily pvp which comes with it. The people who do not want daily pvp (or who just do not want to apply to a clan which has at least 50% cheaters) remain in the non-top clans, but those wither and die slowly, because those who remained in the smaller clans and accepted never getting any epics etc. stay there usually only for social reasons - everybody I talk to usually says "I stay here because my friends are here, the game itself sucks". If those friends move on to Aion or whatever, others will follow. So in the end there will only be the top clans left, and if one of them dominates the server, the players from the other side will either join the winning side or just not bother anymore with the game.
In a way, it is funny. The moment you win the game (dominate the server), you automatically lose the game (server is dead, because there is no competition anymore). The very essence of the game - politics, building an alliance which is stronger than the rest of the server and can control all the castles/epic spawns etc. - leads to self-destruction and a hollow victory. That's why I think some kind of control mechanism (factions, control of the balance of the sides on one server) is not a bad thing for a game.
Anyway, I think that my time in L2 will probably be soon over. Nearly all the players I really care for in this game either log on only rarely anymore or have already left for some other game and I don't really feel like trying to join one of the big clans and being together with some of the people I really grew to dislike over the last years. I started playing Aion on the side and it is a fun game so far.

Pity most of the ubers don't understand this and keep whining how they should become even-more-uber (seed farming only for them, siege fields free for every untagged dagger 85, area locks, etc).
The usual response "band together and claim it", which conveniently omits the "use illegal programs" part, simply doesn't cut it anymore. Most of the lowbies got tired of it all and waved their goodbyes. The ubers won the battle and lost the war.

Agreed and I'll make fun of them for leaving. You only get 2 races in Aion i read on the box. So what a dumb move to go from alot of choices to only 2 choices.
