just crunching some numbers and it seems it's more likely for a lvl 78 toon to enchant a third class skill to a learn lvl of 82 than it is for a lvl 83 player to get a second class skill to 82
think you miss the point
to get a second class skill to an enchant lvl equal to your own lvl is statistically much less likely than a third class skill, add to that the fact that an equal lvl second class skill needs much more enchants than a third class skill and.... no safe enchants don't help
anyway just something i'm working on and if anyone has info on 77 and 80 skill enchant success rates i wouldn't mind em
The whole system is ******ed in the first place. It should just scale as you level. Why the hell should there be another random mechanic that decides wether your toon sucks or not? It's just stupid.
If they really wanted extra granularity with skills after they increased the level cap, they should have just added more skill levels for people to buy with SP...

@ lvl 84, From +22 >>> +23 is 46%. +21 >> +22 is 48; +20 >> +21 is 50% (for lvl pre-76 skills)
As for lvl past-78, it's From : +12 >>> +13 is 36%
i have alot of the info for most lvls i just need info for 77 and 80 as i don't currently have access to toons at those lvls with enough skill enchants
bumping this post because more ppl might understand my point after playing PTS
it is incredibly easy to get a third class skill to high lvl than it is a second class skill
as an example my toons have multiple +10 and higher third class enchants but how many ppl have +23 or higher (or struggled to get them) second class skills which would be about the equivalent

Actually, there's a catch. The slope for 2nd class skill enchants is much lower on PTS than in Gracia Final. So, although +1 in G+ is more expensive than +1 in GF, the +7 in G+ is cheaper than +7 in GF. So, the top enchant levels for 2nd class skills should be easier achievable than now (but still harder than 3rd class skills, both in G+ and maybe even now).
don't think i ever mentioned the larger cost of enchanting 2nd class skills but you are right and it is another issue. my main problem is it is much more statically unlikely to get a 2nd class skill to a high enchant than a 3rd class enchant and apparently i am the only one who cares ><
EDIT: my buffer had +2 COV at 79 (i know a guy who has +5) how many ppl have second class skills that high?

Costs? Statistics? Balanced game? Sorry honey. NC West just collects the money.
