For making a 1 day Halloween event that I got to miss out on cause I couldn't get my card info to activate my account until roughly an hour into October 21st so I could not get the rewards of the event. Was almost as satisfying as the birthday presents you gave us and mine was the day before the update so I have to wait the whole year just to get it. Bravo

you had a whole week to figure out how to get your account active since they anounced the event, how are you gunna blame NC that you procrastinated and are generally unprepared... try that crap at work and let us know the outcome...

Well lets see...for the past 2 weeks I had swine flu, which as turned into Pneumonia...so I have been in and out of the hospital for different reasons...I just didn't have the time to look at my games website to see if they were going to have a holiday event on 1 day.
PS: Your little work conversation you typed out is completely irrelivant. That is a real life job whereas this is a game. You don't put a halloween "event"(this can hardly be considered an event considering it's a one day thing that gives you an item with no interaction in it at all) for one day.

nc made pig event, after that there were the first warnings about the pig-flu...co-incidence? seems the OP is right and its all NC's fault...
they set free the pig flu, so he gets it after the flu traveled around the world, and thats the reason why he couldnt get the vita pops...clearly NC's fault!!!
at least they should give quest items on accounts that is inactive for less than 1 week and active for more than 3 months for example ,so all can get the rewards(if something bad happen like the poster one)

I think that the 'job related discussion with your boss' is directly relevant because it speaks to your personal characteristics. You are the same person playing a game that you are working a job, so the tendency to procrastinate is always there.

btw.... if swine flu has you in the hospital cowboy up... i had it, havent missed a day of work in 6 years...swine flu is the same wussy crap as sars or bird flue or heat stroke or any of that other crap... it takes out the old,new,weak...

Simple solution to problems happening like this one and the last is to make the event week long. You pick up your pops and stick from a Event NPC during the full week. Ya it means now you have to log into all your toons which is a hassle but you do it for other events ^_^
