Epilogue means the end, the last chapter the wrapping up of loose ends.
All you need to look at is there is not even a mention of an update in Korea and it has been 6 months since Gracia+ has come out (or our Gracia Epilogue)
Lyzria is this the last major update to L2? Since there is no mention of any future updates which is unusual, because Korea will only have 1 update this year which is unheard of.
After every single update, and we have had 11 or 12 of them now, someone has 'predicted' that we have just seen the last one. I have seen comments that the game is dying for over five years now, and I expect that I will still be reading similar posts five years from now.
I am 90% sure that this is not the last because in reading the stuff on elliebellie, they forgot that with the new update and redoing giants cave they took out the best way to get a grade armour recipies. When asked about that the dev said that they would be addresssing this in the next update.
they had a Gracia final already, so the naming was somewhat limited.
they could have gone with Extreme, and or plus, but maybe they didn't like the feel of it.

when do we move into the Lineage 1 story line?
i mean all the dorfs have to be killed off right?
dark elves have to learn to use fist weapons...(probably a result of no dorfs to build them swords and daggers)

With the reworked Mithril Mines (http://www2.elliebelly.net/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=891) the Elmore kingdom is getting a boost. It's not only high-level Archers and Arbalesters buying consumables in Dwarven Village, adding to the tax revenue, but it's only a matter of time until there will be a Trasken raid. The huge unused area south of the Mithril Mines would be a nice killing ground.
I got a ws 84 in my clan that is able to kill quite a lot of daggers in oly (and I mean good daggers, with +7 to +13 on their skills) and his skills are also in that OE range. They are also close in level. I guess fortune seekers are worse in pvp though. And we get to the same question ofc, why don't u make another sub for pvp and use main mostly for money although clearly it's possible to make wins in oly even as a dorf (golem armor, etc).
hey it's awesome to watch Golem Armor in action during mass pvp, one of our allied meastro's did that during TW at a fight which had over 150ppl.. a clannie even has it on fraps and posted it on blah :)

because they have to be different by:
Not giving us the same titles
Not giving us same rewards for the same events
Not giving us same available content(dimensional Merchants)
etc etc ^_^

I think some people are reading way too much into the name. When I read the title to this update, I saw it as the end of Gracia, not L2. Anyone reading more into it than that are just looking for a reason to complain on the forums honestly, lol.

btw think there's some errors of translation in the previeuw site
dont think they ment it like that
technically, lineage two isnt dead,
there are still something like 5 more chapters from the original plans for the game,
the end should have a map similiar to Lineage 1 , since lineage 2 is supposed to take place before hand.
that would be if the original developers hadnt left, and that the new developers through the script out the window andstarted just...what looks like....doing their own "thing"
still technically, they will send updates and release new content as long as their are subscribers, however, nothing since gracia, has been on the original timeline. (personal opinion)
its golden age is done, its silver years are still ahead though
