It's basicly just the 'LineageII.exe' file that you have to replace to get the Live or PTS client ;)

Ahh it does say updated, I think the file name being Gracia-Final-PTS before, now the page URL is Gracia-Final but it does say that it's been updated today and "Epilogue" appears on the page now (that it didn't before).
I started DLing anyway because I figured it was just a textual mix up but yah... just confused me for a moment =P

Actually it's not working. When I launch the LineageII.exe I get a pop up with the text "The Communication for the update server has been terminated" (the same message we could have during Tuesday maintenance)

after DL you put it in a diff file from your normal L2 and once PTS is actually up and goin you run from the new DL. no idea if its gonna have to patch or not. we havent been given much info at all.
atm no, its a full game download 4.8gb...until Lyzira comes back with any info on if the live to pts conversion file works.

Btw u should bring up the updater coz I'm downloading with firefox and my PC wants to install the updates and a message pops up and I set it to remind me in 4 hours but , in 4 hours time the pts woill not have finished and , I'll go to school now so nobody can't cancel the auto-restart :mad::mad:

we all know that this works thats why ppl ask to SETUP the UPDATE SERVER so they can avoid the 4.8gb dl
Seems this update will very succesful. Yesterday about after 1 hour that NCSoft made the post about the aviable new aviable test client from fileplanet 79000+ peoples started it download, i think it is a very nice number. Because a parts of them just start download it in next days another parts update it from Lineage 2 launcher and anothers maybe will download it from another website if it will aviable anothers too. So i hope it will a succesful and realy funny update.
Lyzira maybe at the time when will release the live version of new update, can u refesh the website too? i heard much players who said that website seems old and need refresh the database, the website design.
Example after 2 years with same things returned the City of Heroes to peoples minds too, a good update, website refresh.

I stop updating my laptop then restarted it and it's saying that now but my main is still downloading so I'm not touching it. I can just copy the information over to my laptop from my main.
I think it may have reached it's connection limit.

And then: Connection to update server has been terminated.
dont know about the disk failure but the termination of the updater is cuz the pts aint up yet. Once it is up then u wount get the termination of the updater.
All we can do is download the client at this time. The pts is not up yet so dont bother trying to launch l2 till it is.

well i did the conversion and i cant get the update.... It says the usual blablabla terminated.. I was fast enough (with autoclicker!) and i pushed the start button, but i saw the l2 final login screen. I cant update the pts :mad:

well the update server is down now. you would had 2 already had it patch.

lol my folder is 8.89 gb as everyone else here so the whole update is just 9.2-8.9 300 mb ? this is a joke right why put a filelanet file 4.8gb on download then

I got the full update hours ago and not from File Planet, I got it from NC Soft.....bad planing on your part. :rolleyes:
the 4.8GB is the full download zipped up for people 2 download if they don't know how 2 do the conversion.
How many times had we had PTS? some of you act like it's your first time...now if is your first time send your PM's 2 me I started in beta and have been on every single PTS update. or Check out http://www2.elliebelly.net and use the Seach option you know the one that people don't use here....

Installer from Fileplanet downloaded at work in the background in the morning - only took like 2.5hrs. Installed it and updated it later when update server was up and now i'm copying it onto my mobile HDD for home transfer :cool:

this does work updating pts client now no need to dl the 4.8 gig fileplanet file
pretty simple to use make copy of your lineage2 folder name it what ever you want then copy paste the l2.exe file from live2pts-conversion-download to the copy or your lineage2 main folder and gogogo

Well you can do the live to pts now, I've done it already since my internet can't keep a connection and I can't dl the full client. It's easy to install you just have to wait for the update server to come back up so we can update to G+ files, then you're good to go.

Still downloading sounds, files seems to be huge Oo and after the biggest folder : textures and systextures
well i downloaded pretty good the client w/o any trouble, even the install was fine, but i got gameguard error just like with the actual retail client, due to windows 7 ( x86) running on my computer... any fix planned anytime soon? it's rly annoying

A word of warning for those that download the client from fileplanet: On my 64 bit system there was NO PROMPT to select an installation directory, it just decided to instal itself over my existing installation (thereby exterminating my live client and replacing it with the PTS client)
Make a backup copy of your live client before installing.

Lyzira will the premium purchase pets things be available for the regular servers? T.T I love the spirit shaman it recharges and buffs and can kill stuff when you switch it to offensive mode..T.T and I already named it!...his name is orby o.o you can't say goodbye to a pet you named! o.o

When will we get the micro transactions thing that will put the Dimensional merchant into good use? You can buy all those stuff from that NPC with NC Coin on the LIVE Korean servers and I'm sure also on the Russian, Japanese, SEA and Taiwan servers as well.

Well this update will be better than the last update, the new vitality is very good, i get 1% with only vitality 4 in level 83, field of silence is better and the 3 new herbs are nice, but unfortunaly it longer only 1 minute :)

doesnt have to be NCcoin or timecard related. could keep it how it is on the PTS and be able to just buy the stuff with Adena. its not like the mounts or lil buffer guys are extremely uber, and the helpers only last 7 days.
That self rez thing seems to be cheesy but mounts and teleportation to saved locations thingie could be really good to have on live...
Instead of that useless subclass separation service maybe they should make a service where you can purchase no more than X amount per month of in-game items you can use to purchase that stuff..

I can understand how it works in Ko, but this cannot be used as reason to remove the items from the game, those simple could be realocated as prizes for things like the aerial clash (useless atm), the games at the FI (ghost town where nobody goes), fame sink, hero tokens sink...
No idea what is "public pts", but live2pts is an archive that contains LineageII.exe that you can place into any (copy of) L2 installation to connect to PTS updater. Technically, you might even be able to run it alone and download all the stuff, but it's a very slow option.
Just make a copy of your current L2 folder, replace LineageII.exe there with the one from live2pts archive, and start it to download the differences between L2 GF Live and L2 G+ PTS.
MY live pts donwloaded all the files from the game but it's not running when i pressing start on l2 pre screen!
My public server just writes me gameguard error ****...Any idea?
If you have your Lineage 2 normal client open you should close it before you start updating the PST. I got the error once and this was the reason why ..and one more time after and i just restarted the updater and it worked all the way.
xp rates are increased wich means vit would burn faster with the xp, might be a little less than what well get on live but prbbly not by much.
rates do not increase vit spending.
for example I have got from 40 to 45 and spent 4th vit bar and about 1/3 of the 3rd vit bar. I am pretty sure I'd spend more than that before level 42 on live 1x rates.
I am trying to go back from PTS to live. I use the conversion, and when it tries to update, it won't let me. It downloads a file, and then says that connection to server terminated. Any ides on what to do? I followed the instructions exactly as it says on the .txt sheet included in the zip folder.
