A-Grade Armour Crafts in G+

Now that Giant's Cave is being re-vamped for 80+ hunting and the quests that were previous there give recs for S80 armours/weapons...what will happen to the A-grade armour quests?

Exploration of Giants Cave was (correct me if I'm wrong) the only way to get light/heavy A-grade armor recs. (aside from mob drops ofc)

Whisper of Dreams gives robe recs and Legacy of Insolence gives boot/glove/helm recs, but the Giants Cave Quests were the only ones that gave the light/heavy amour recs.

So, are these quests going to be replaced, or is that it for getting a-grade light/heavy armor recs from a quest now? Is it just relying on mob drops now?

I couldn't find any information about the change and was curious if anyone knew about it.

maybe they'll input 100% A grade recs elsewhere hopefully

For the time being you will have to rely on mob drops. The problem is known and steps are under way, but there won't be a new quest for A-Grade armor recipes before CT 3, possibly even later:

these recipes are spoilable

wouldn't that require some kind of dwarf like creature?
didn't those go extinct when they added all high lvl recs as rewards from quests?

If you have quest finished you can get a reward and disolve the quest at that news information npc i think :) next to gatekeeper

Not that I know which mobs were in Giants cave that you needed for that quest. But just letting you know I was out in FP last night, and noticed a bunch of the mobs that were previously in Giants cave were sitting in the bottom of the large pit. The Orc Shamen, and Tigers and Orc Captians were all still there, along with a pile of Giants Cave group mobs. Made it a bit difficult to solo, so I moved to a different area of FP which was the same as it was before.

But if anyone is looking for a few misplaced mobs you might want to try there.

Quest now is lvl 79, no matter if the mobs still exist they dont belong to the quest anymore.

I have a bunch in my warehouse. I'll hang on to them for a few weeks then sell them for absurd amounts. No NCfail from my perspective, NClotterywin for me!

I took the time to complete a few sets last weekend got me some recs, what was left i turned in to the news information npc and got about 1.2 mil adena for it.

I would urge ppl not to go +6 on their A grade armour sets unless it is with blessed enchants for now.
