is it supposed to be alternative to the wolf? i noticed the pet NPC doesn't even have any gear for it. Anyone has any info about evolution of that thing (if any) or special abilities? i Heard someone say something about some pet that removes PKs as it gets XP, is this the one?
/confused on why its 500 mill in giran if it cant veen be equiped with any gear
The Sin Eater is the pet that takes 100% exp from you to lvl it as part of the Repent Your Sin's Quest. That's the one that randomnly removes your PK count when you lvl it up. The Dino pet and the Guardian Strider are the 2 new pets this update.
i knu about the sin eater, but i heard a rumor about ANOTHER pet that doesn't require a quest, it just follows and removes PKs as you level it... but idk sounds too good :rolleyes:

The pet that removes PKs when you lvl it was only available for the PTS.
Now, about the new Dino pet? No, there is nothing available to it (yet). Remember the Baby Pets, they used to be like that when they first came out, no armor, no special skills, no evolution. Give it 1 or 2 more updates and it will have armor, weapons, and evolution.
Definitely, there were already interviews with the Korean devs about future updates. Remember - they don't really care how many players play on our servers, it's the Korean playerbase which counts. And the game is still going strong there.
Now where do you get this little dino? I know it is aquired at PI, but is there a NPC that needs to be talked to as with the other pets or is it a drop?

on topic now... i kept killing those dynonichous packs with a mage in a dow party... but those lil ******** didnt drop a single egg!!!

While gathering the 1k + Bones of a Plains Dinosaur to exchange for the s80 robe recipes, I've collected 9 Deinonychus Mesozoic Stones. I have enough to start a breeding farm for those critters ^_^
I got the new dino pet last nite. I did not do any raid boss, but I was in PI with my sub nuker and I was killing mobs from left to right. I don't know exactly what mob dropped because I had like 7 of them on me when I pick up the drop. Looks cute though ^_^.

Hence why don't spend money on one, as in 2 weeks ppl will be throwing them away...
I must be having bad luck since I have been hunting there for 2 days straight with no dino drop. I've been killing the solo dinonychous and grouped mobs
I dont have screen shot but i will try to find. Anyways a mage pt dropped about 5 of them in matter of 4 hours or so.. We went for Trex in dino and along with Trex we aoed mobs and droped those stones that summon the pet quite offen!
Does anyone know if they drop on outer zone (soloing area) of PI
And the pet takes the same amount of xp as a pet do before it evolves at level 55.
So one can basiclly make an asumption that it will get gear and evolve in a near patch if NC dont forget about the pet :D
edit: forgot I have jewelry on the pet.
Ever went to the PTS and checked the 3rd Pet Helper and its description?:D
I went on the PTS yes, but when I got the pet ticked and went to the merchant I didn't get any option to trade it in and I didn't find any links on the cats as well....this was after they applied the last patch on the PTS.
I've seen several of these for sale both on Bartz and on Sayha. On both servers, I only see them for sale at two levels: 55 and 70. My question is where do the level 70s come from? Purely by levelling or are there some mobs that drop level 70 babies? Is 70 the level cap for them? Just seemed odd that I have seen them only at those two levels, nothing in between.
