assuming what you are asking is if +spoil has the same land rate as spoil crush the chance to land an equal lvl spoil on an equal lvl mob is pretty **** high so i wouldn't worry too much about that but i'll leave the BH to tell you if spoil crush lands better or not
(..) i'll leave the BH to tell you if spoil crush lands better or not
FS 78 summoned ;)
Spoil Crush, it has better chance to activate spoil status than normal spoil.
Tbh I haven't check if OE spoil can improve rate because normal Spoil Crush land in 70%+ ratio even on 83 mobs.
At mobs 78-81 it is close 90%. (Remember I'm saying about setting active spoil state - not sweep chance :D )
I use normal spoil in backup situation when Spoil Crush fail.
For me it look that at 5x/6x lvl spoil skill level is important but when you reach 76+ your level became crucial.
I would say pure observation show ( no any mathematics ) skill behave like kind of bacstab by dagger(chance of landing lethal).
If lvl difference is big (you are much lower level then opponent - mob ) % is pretty bad.
Any of you have seen reasonable formula who show chance of activation skill (spoil)?
If we talking about spoil/sweep.
Additionally despite of spoil chance I have a strong felling, having in party low level player decries overall chance of sweep ... but maybe I'm just paranoid :D
I have notice that when using "Spoil Crush" on mobs that are white to me, it "activates" 99% of the time. Sometimes, it has the chance to do "critical" as well. I think I got confused with the fact that "spoil crush has activated" means that mobs will turn blue and I should be able to sweep; it seems that is not the case. So, pretty much "spoil crush has been activated" doesn't necessarily means you will sweep from a mob, right?
I was lvl 74 and was able to spoil Dynasty robe parts in FoG from the Lavasaurus. Mobs were mostly pink or yellow to me and spoil still landed and I was able to farm Dynasty Robe parts for a friend.
===> I leveled my spoiler to 76 to go to Den of Evil and try to spoil Dynasty heavy parts. Mobs are yellow to me with the exception of some that are pink. But I wasted like 3-4 round of buffs and I would say that spoil crush activated 7/10 times for me and none of the mobs turned blue in all that time. I was not able to sweep 1 part at all. <====
So, it seems the problem is not spoil crush or +++spoil. Those have nothing to do with the "spoil rate", the problem seems that Mobs in Den of Evil have probably ridiculous spoil rate chance (1/XxXx).
I talked with one FS lvl 79 and he told me that indeed the mobs have very low rate chance to be spoiled. He told me that spoil crush works for him 95% of the time because they are white mobs. But, he gets 1-2 parts sometimes in 5-6 round of buffs.
So, in conclusion.
- Spoil Crush == Reg. Spoil (with few differences mentioned above).
- "Spoil Crush activated" not necessary means mobs will turn blue.
- The level of the target gives the penalty chance to have spoil activated.
- And, ... Den of Evil mobs have ridiculous spoil chance rate.
spoil landing dosent mean u actualy gonna get anything
u should know that by now if u had played ur char since start
LoL,...Let me put this in basic words for you since you are suggesting indirectly that I bought or bot my dwarf.
Regular spoil is going to tell you that "you spoiled [target]" and of course not necessary means that you gonna get something. My question (if you read the other paragraphs) was to either the fact you have "spoil has been activated" message when using "spoil crush" means that you spoil rate will increase (somehow I though that because is a 76 skill we will be giving this other more powerful spoil skill). Again, if you read my first original post, I was questioning about spoil crush specifically since it is a new skill for me now that I hit 76.
your original question :
really? we can't enchant spoil crush? what's the point? :s
and you wrote:

it's why i said that u have no idea how spoil works.
btw, I'd suggested that we,spoilers, could have a new route on enchanted spoil skill : augment spoil rate (increase the chance to have something to sweep)
Spoil rate is determined by the mob and the items (iron ore spoils more often than a EWA from the same mob). Activation rate was always determined by skill level vs mob level (like the big difference being 42/43 and such, when the latter is a "spoil level").
My BH is 74 right now, but interesting to read that Spoil Crush can't be oe'ed. Might as well save my SP because someone I know decided it would be interesting to learn light armor mastery lol. BH -> most expensive armor masteries in the game.
Activation rate was always determined by skill level vs mob level (...)
My BH is 74 right now, (...)
.. but at 76+ when you get SpoilCrush instead skill level your level became factor :D
Original question was is 'normal' spoil OE can be equal in rate of chance of activation spoil same as (or better ) then Spoil Crush.
As we see clearly no one know it for sure
But I wouldn't suggest OE spoil as crazy because SpoilCrush is >>> Spoil (even OE +16) - it does dmg while normal spoil doesn't :p
