It all started after G+ went live... Then after that the S crystal price skyrocketed for reasons that escape me. All the sell shops want 90k+++ for the crystals. All the buy shops are paying 80k++... And yet, the Sbsps sellers are still selling at a low price.
I buy my ores at the cheapest places on the server (Bartz), but I still can't keep my price down with the crystals going wild.
My questions are:
*How are these people still selling low with crystals so high?
*What the Hell is going on with the crystals, what is driving their price all crazy?
*Did I miss something in G+ that may explain this madness?
P.S.: I ussually sold Sbsps at Goddard, but I want to know: With all the new 80+ revamped hunting grounds in G+, is Goddard still the best selling spot for Sbsps?, if not, which would be a better town for Sbsps business?
I would assume because more people are crafting S80 and are stopping trying to OE S grade, therefore generating less OE fail crystals.
Also, due to S80 crafts basic mats could be increasing, costing more to craft and crystalize S
Also, due to the new hunting grounds fewer people stay in cata/necro farming AA, and those that do use them to buy GemS for the cursed stage 14s so that they can SA their Dynasty weps.
Etc.
But it's a Bartz specific question you should maybe have asked in the Bartz forum ... or identified in the title it's Bartz specific so you don't get a bunch of irrelevant replies ;)

1. Likely if still selling too cheap, multiple sellers had a good stock of s crystals before the rise, and are still competing with each other at older prices.
2/3. Sources for s crystals and thats from mammon with aa, from crunching S gear, and failed enchanting. So look at AA price/trend; And yes as someone said the S80 boom (easier to get and more people LV80 with the epic quest to help too).
same sorta thing happened on phoenix where crystal prices dropped suddenly before the update and are slowly rising back to what i expected them to be (took longer than i anticipated)
problem is that crystals were so cheap and so abundant that i figure everyone had a stockpile of them and i couldn't risk buying in since i already had 500+ million invested in shots and couldn't risk the off chance that prices wouldn't rise

Devianne had crystals for 140k each for the last couple of months; however, since the update went down a bit. You can find S crystals for 120k average now.

If most of you haven't picked up by now the abundance of S80 weapons for example, due to how affordable it is to craft S80, and frankly how easy it is to get the Parts and Recipes... the Market for regular S Grade is completely crap right now, and as a result, the majority of S Grade is pretty much worth more as a lump of crystals, than the actual weapon with a few exceptions.

didn't happen to check what the crystal cost of those dragon grinders was yesterday before someone bought them was did you...... im just saying
