Next up on my order of agenda would be a Mail order item catalouge where i would round up willing players who could craft and make a website where you order an item on the website, i forward the order to a person who could make that item, the creator would get 95% of profits (I would get a small cut for the trouble of setting this up) and the person, after sending the adena to me would get their item delivered straight to them... no more wandering through towns trying to get an item which doesn't happen to be for sale... we will get it as soon as possible and send it straight away... you would only pay for shipping (usually less then tele fees) and for the item itself...

I would use it, to buy/sell stuff.. for 5% :p but we need to know more details about it and how is going to work. I would love not to sit in shop so much ;)
No i mean the crafter gets 95% of profits :). and sortof like amazon but with adena as the currency and i would have a fair rotation first come first create for the crafters (with a loop ant the end so you only have to regester once), it will be on all servers... and most work will be done on a website. Each item for sale would be listed on a main listing with a pic (like the amazon lists) with options to refine the search. I would add a section for a person to create their own listings too ( a seller page if ou wil) which would be listed on the main page.
are you asking for a mail order system for REAL items or IN GAME items?
because i have been slowly making a REAL draconic bow (based on a real arrow-firing weapon) but i would never sell it. i means slow as in only the base sketch has so far been completed. i am shopping for the bow to use after January due to some RL setbacks.
i know also some Sword manufacturers will make REAL swords from pictures you provide.
In-Game items...No real money or items transfered there... but i might add that(no money for ingame items or ingame money for real items cause thats a violation of terms and services), cause some people might like that alot :).
Your friends are crafters and sellers? that would be great if so... give me your email and ill email you when the site's v1 is released.

It's a cool idea but can you get real players together to do it? The player base doesn't have enough live played Dwarfs to pull something like this off or do we?
Look at Giran... full of shops and dwarves... if i can convince them that they could make more money faster with this... i can set it up... not to mention all races can sell items indescrimenatly on this site too.

exactly...ill even have more people as distributers later... and this is for people that have no idea about the fact you happen to have a sigul but need one... they could buy it from you easier then if you sat there for hours setting up shop... as soon as someone buys it ill send an lineage 2 mail confirming it and you'll send me the item with the pre agreed amount needed to detach the item. ill get it pay for it... then send the item along to the buyer who has already payed for it.
so this would be a like a pawn shop web site?

kinda like one of those ebayer web sites, but with all payments made in the form of adena... i like the idea, although i suspect the trouble would be in developing this without being paid by anyone...
i doubt ncsoft would dish out any cash for you...
however, i'm sure you could rely on donations.
although i don't think they would allow you to give out credit for donations.
(if they would be ok with that, then that would be cool)

This is a great idea/system. If i had the Adena i would love to give you a few Billion and wait for someone to bring me the item i bought.

i dont think this is quite what they had in mind, tulpie.
more along the lines of "woot ding 76, time to buy my drac bow. instead of looking for cheap ones and spending 5 days shouting WTB or creating the hassle of crafting it myself, i'll shout at websitexyz.com and in minutes they'll send me the bow in the mail where i pay in adena."

Well Spud...if what you say is true then not a problem but that isn't what he says. I believe what it says above is the person pays him direct and then someone else delivers the item.
I think an auction house would kinda serve the same purpose. Like they do in WOW.

I will need anyone wanting to be either a beta tester or a crafter to email me at [email protected] . if i get about 10 good crafters per server in the next 2 weeks.... ill defenatly speed up the process... heck ill be happy with just 1 or 2 to start with :).
