You can kill it i guess, but you will get an animal rights group on your neck and your weapons will all become -21 and you will take damage when you use them.
Also stops people from getting stuff from hitting NPCs like last years event ;)

I had lots of fun giving reflect dmg to the NPCs around the world, and focus, dw, haste to the ppl hitting them. If it was an orc they got prophecy too :D
i only recall dieing once to myself last christmas...
i found special hidden npc's around the server...
and ofcourse used my lowbie toons, although i wasn't exactly high level last christmas... 66 i think. made a whole 12 levels in a year, yay...

got like 10 socks per night just being loged inside clan hall, good event.

Off topic, but I always thought that this is how the Demon Swords should have worked. They should be vampiric and truly cursed. As long as you wield them without killing another player, your HP drops dramatically at a constant rate until you die, thus surrendering the swords to someone else. Killing mobs does nothing to slow this process. But when you kill another player, you get all of their max HP until you are replenished. But full health doesn't last long, because those demon swords are hungry little blood suckers and they'll feast on you, if you don't feed them first!!!

i spent some time around a lot of npc's... though i usually only got 3 a night.
i hated when there were two people on same npc, and you see santa and he gives it to someone else.
he was scary.
he would appear out of nowhere... and shout your name.
it was like oh noes what crazyness is this who is coming to get me...

maybe it won't take too long to grind up a rudolph?
if you get the rudolphina buff you're golden, however if you get one of the turtle buffs, you might be disappointed as a summoner...
maybe... the rudolph's should have strong pve skills???

You summon, "stroke it" then unsummon it - but yea.. the bad part is that you will not be able to pick up the cakes or what ever it is called...
You dont just need to stroke it. It needs to be out so it can eat the fruit baskets.

I realize that summoners want to have their summons out at all times for the event, but please know that the devs were definitely thinking about you guys when they created this event. I think you guys will find that you can enjoy the event too.

summoners usually use their summon to kill, so what good is the buff if they don't get the benefit for their summon?

the bonus hp/mp/cp is good enough..
also if you are lucky enough to get rudolphina then you're golden.

what you dont have lv 78 buff pet? this event probably designed for newb(new) players!!! nobody need buff scroll if they have 78+ buffer. the vitality deer is probably hard to get and deer is just randomly obtain, and no S shadow weapon have +150 elements, even if it is +15 it is not desirable by 76+ players (unless you;re pathetic and use common weapon your whole life). what a dumb design by developers.

And talking about food if you go to the same restaurant for years wouldn't you except at least some thoughtfulness about you and the other loyal clients?
man i feel sry for all those pro player having an army of buffers behind them paying 30 - 60 $ a month to get ahead in a videogame just to brag about virtuell accomplishment
ohh sry i forgot i dont want to look for a party or depend on other ppls life issues i know the excuses
