I gave a friend a trial account and ... it sucks. Aside from the normal anti-farmer protection (cant trade, can't pm, can't mail, can't use stores) he can't even use his warehouse. Is this really necessary? I mean I dropped a bunch of SSD for him and only option he had was to delete most of it since he couldn't warehouse them.
Kinda severe if you ask me, I don't see the problem in letting trial accounts use their wh.

compressed shots could also be an option.. unless until he gets a permanent account and has access to WH
Yeah not to mention Invite a friend option. At first if a friend was away for 90 days, he could get a code from me, which would allow him to have 7 days trial, and withing that he needed to activate it , so we could split 30 days. Now no more trial :(
When they adressed the issue of trial accounts it was so that trials accounts could not be used to farm etc.
I made a joke about this a while ago that a trial account is now like putting someone in a cage on talking island and they had to pay to be let out to really explore the game. And I still think it is like this.
I would gladly see the return of trial accounts ( not only friend invites ) but as everyone know the rules for them need to be changed so that people can still enjoy the game and at the same time minimize the use for farmers/spammers.
