Leaving a community is something that I never want to do, but it is with a heavy heart that I must do so. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to be a part of the Lineage II community this year and I've valued my time here so very much, getting to know all of you.
Today is my last day at NCsoft and my life is taking me in a different direction. Please know that I never wanted to write this post and I will miss each and every one of you very much, even the ones whose posts I've deleted. This is an amazing community that I am very proud to have been a part of.
Nyx will be around on the boards and keeping an eye on things until my replacement is settled in. Please don't hesitate to contact her if you need any help with anything, she will be there for you.
I loled in real life, ship sinking then I guess, getting abit tired with a new CM every month, cant say I am suprised after Nyx appeard that is the L1 CM but ..

CMs come and go around here. Hope the next is willing to do an as good as job and is willing to actually communicate with players who contact him/her as you did.

Coming from this line of work I know the pressure and the "turn-over" rate is very high. I'm hoping that the community didn't burn you out, better would be that you found a company that respects it's employees autonomy more than NCSoft.
I'm sorry to see you go, I was happy to have some stability with you here, there was at least some consistancy with who ran our community. I hope that your replacement knows how big the shoes are to fill!

This is really sad, took 2 years till a decent comunity manager appears... boards are working, someone was at least trying to give fast replys and results to the players, and now you are leaving.
I don't know what is your true reason to leave but what i feel is that NCSOTF is screwing us up once more, and they will only be happy when NA servers got a perma shuttdown.

****, this sucks. Maybe this is how NcSoft keeps from updating the website, it takes a month or two to get settled into the job, a month to get started on where to start at, and then poof, they are gone, rinse, repeate :(

It hard to say how good you were for L2 community.
For sure you were reacting fast on people needs and issues that they rise.
But if we check how efficient you were to make things happen to solve it within NC ...
If we check progress at knowledge page on official page it look terrible.
If we check progress at fixing issues pointed on PTS it is not perfect as well.
I know big companies - especially those who belong to bigger structure - it is hard to push even simple things forward. :confused:
So I wish you luck and thank you for your engagement, for fast reactions and well to help people.
Lyzira, I've been playing Lineage 2 for about 3 years now.
I was very active on the forums when I started the game but the lack of "quick response" or "no response" from other CM's pretty much made me abandon the official Lineage 2 web site for the first 2 years. Then, you showed up and for the first time I felt the L2 community had something really important going on with someone that was actively playing as part of it. I have to confess that for the first time someone really showed up interest about this community and "kept us in the loop" for everything that was going on within the game.
All I have to say is that we are going to miss you and I wish you the very best on any future plans.

Well then, this deserves my attention... Truthfully in my full L2 carrier, Lyzira you have been the one that I have seen try the most. Trying is better then doing nothing. That being said, I wish you the best in your future endeavors.
It is not smart to replace community managers I believe, it never is, takes time to earn respect of the community and understand the community. Most certain in my case, seen many of these CM/GM and so far Lyzira is the only one I rate with a "plus". Too lose a CM that seems to care like Lyzira is a big loss.

All the ******s out there, I say it because no one else does... You don't matter, go hide under a rock (and ST*U)... Do you run a big clan or alliance? No, probably not. So you don't know how frustrating it is to plead to support for issues and it's being ignored. (For those that do know: Welcome to my world). You probably don't contribute to the community in any form or way, hence u flame a bit and act cool, guess what you guys are not.
I know it sometimes seems I don't care ;) but I do care. That includes Lyzira who (like I said in my other post) TRIES to improve things (to my knowledge). Big loss since I was about to start participating on the board (being supportive again to ncsoft), mainly due to Lyzira... So yeah this evening kinda sucks, only person who I see caring for player-base is leaving :(

She's probably leaving due to NCSofts lack of caring for the L2 community and got sick of it. Best of luck however, credit should go where its due, and I think she was as good as a CM as I've seen.

People will complain no matter who is the CM, the problem is that people do not understand the that the "CM" position is not to fix things, restart the RB, remove bots, etc... but to be a person that relays what is said on the forum to the GM's/Dev Team/NCK Overlords - BUT with saying this, NCNA can do nothing without the express permission from NCK.
@Liz Good Luck on your road, and best wishes, you were in this short run one of the bests showing your attention to the comunity when so many have failed.
@NC Now lets see who the hell will come to handle the boys, and if NC finally get any point of shame and fill the info, or redo the webpage, Aion is ready, many are already tired of the lol game, so put the **** teams working again where they should never leave.

Lyzira passes, and with her, pass my hopes of this game ever being anything like tolerable. At least she seemed to listen and respond when the rest of the nuckfuts at NC Soft couldn't seem to care less.
Ever notice how the quality of products coming from Korea always sucks? They all break somehow.
I know there's a few quality people who still play L2, but like Lyzira, I'm moving on too. Maybe if everyone who played, and by played, I mean -- Actually had characters they were on and playing for a couple hours each day and not some second account selling junk in Giran 24/7, and were all on the same server, I wouldn't feel so alone in the game and would stick around.
The problem is that L2 is dead. Lyzira was right for leaving, or maybe she got laid off. Either way, I hope she lands on her feet wherever she goes to.
As for me. I'm sick of being in an allegedly massively multiplayer game where the only things I see moving are the mobs I'm attacking, and maybe 2 or 3 other players in a 4 hour stretch of gameplay. My account is cancelled and I'm saying my farewells also. I'm not even going to give Aion a chance. I'm looking for something else.
Anyone know of a game like EverQuest that has more than 2 players in any given zone at any given time?

Just a quick question. Did you even make it to lvl 60+?
You cant expect to run into ppl in lowibe zones in a game that is more than 5 years old...

I have heard this many times over the last 5.5 years. I have seen very little to improve the lot of honest players.
I hope this is just not Rhetoric from you Lyzira...it is my belief that the legit community really needs to believe in someone from NC Soft and imo, so far, you have come the closest to being what we require.
I remember her saying that, going on 'vacation' didn't mean she was leaving us.. I think we all knew. We'll miss you, I haven't posted much, but I've been watching. I think this is one more of the nails in the coffin of the NA/EU servers.. Maybe I'm just too negative but, I don't think I'll be subscribed much longer with this constant downfall.
