major fail on territory earrings

Anyone else notice how the ITEM DESCRIPTION on a territory earring and the SKILL DESCRIPTION (that you get in your passive list when you equip 1) don't actually match?

Goddard

ITEM: Goddard Guard Earring ----------------- Earring given to the royal guard of Goddard territory. Stun Attack +15%, Sleep Defense +15%, Fire Power Defense +10. CP increases +5%.
SKILL: Royal Guard Earring - Goddard ------- Increases maximum CP by 5 and resistance to sleep attacks by 15. Increases bonus for sleep attacks by 15.
sleep/sleep vs stun/sleep

Aden

ITEM: Aden Guard Earring -------------------- Necklace given to the royal guard of Aden territory. Fear Attack +15%, Stun Defense +15%, Earth Power Defense +10. CP increases +5%.
SKILL: Royal Guard Earring - Aden ---------- Increases maximum CP by 5 and resistance to shock attacks by 15. Increases bonus for abnormal mind attacks by 15.
"abnormal mind attack" in other places(buffs) mean: sleep, fear, silence

Only 3 of them actually have the correct jewel type in the description, there's 3 "rings", 3 "necklaces" and 3 earrings. (all of them are earrings, the descriptions are wrong)

/facepalm
I'm not at all surprised.
bring up Masterwork items and armor... and it gets even more halariously messed up..
i think they need to review these items and determine what they actually want to give, and make sure it is exactly what is described.
1. When you wear these jewels outside the territory area what happens? You can have equieped the jewels only there? (i heard that you can use them on oly too)
2. If the jewels can be worn, then what about the effects they give? Do i keep them?
3. Did they fixed the effect that didnt apply if you were 2 earings from territory? (from different towns)

1. they can be used anytime
2. yes

Word from tests posted on elliebelly.net is that if you have two exact same jewels (e.g. two earrings from the same territory), the effects do not stack, but if you have two DIFFERENT jewels with the same effect (e.g. +stun attack), the effects DO stack. That is contrary to the official reply posted here a while ago, but I'd rather trust player tests anyway.

The +stun attack does not stuck from 2 different TW earrings... as mentioned in GM response. Only different effects stuck. And ofc element resist stuck..

That's what I said - the test results they posted on elliebelly.net (test done by the Korean "Lineage 2 Laboratory", some kind of official NCSoft team doing game mechanics experiments players ask for) show that the GM response is wrong.

From there (http://www2.elliebelly.net/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=17767#17767):

"That's right. Those Territory Earrings are very much like Boss jewels - the buff/debuff effetcs of identical Earrings (like Aden&Aden) do not stack, you have only the effect of one Earrings. But if you have different Earrings with identical effects, like Aden&Innadril, as in the experiment, the identical effects do stack.

...

But the purpose of the Earring experiment was not to confirm whether you get +30% Stun resist or maybe just +28%, but to check whether the effects stack, as claimed by the Development Department, or not, as stated by that GM from NCWest."
It's just like anything else in any Korean MMO ported to English-speaking countries: Completely lost in translation! No surprises here.
so Goddard earring doesn't actually give +stun attack????

Seeing as i just took it too, i'd like to know that one as well, but seeing as we DONT get allowed to actually SEE what resists we currently have, other than for elements, its prolly impossible to say.

Well the element resists do not work, at least on earrings and rings.

You can look at your stat page to see. There are other threads on this too. Someone posted the necklace he had, the element resist worked.

No word from staff on if this will ever be fixed :(
here is a idea pvp for epic raid bosses and use there epics!
