As you all know that L3 code was stolen and called Tera. After that no1 can get any news from NcSoft about L3.. as their old news L3 will be released in 2011 (info before code stolen)..
But since 2 years passed and no single screnshot or info available about L3...
I heard that after the code was stolen NcSoft decided not to release L3..
And now they are trying to implement their L3 gameplay and graphics to L2..
Word
If NcSoft put time into here and fixed a bunch of these things with our game, it may have a chance at a come back. Doubtful though. Old game now and with so many new games and choices out there, going to be tough as hell for anything to pull in enough without it being a whole new game.

First, TERA is not a stolen L3 project. The guys that left NCSoft and stole the source code went, in fact, to a Japanese company and presented it in their job interwiev, this is completely separate story from the creation of TERA.
A senior game developer who was in charge of creating L3(and L2 as well as L1 in that matter) was fired for poor leadership skills. Ironically most of developers 90-member team quit with their chief.
Now, I would like to point out that its not the company that creates the games but rather, the people who work with it!
Bluehole Studio didnt hire the former NCSoft employees, they are actually the ones who created the Bluehole Studio to begin with!
And obviously they would take their ideas, that they had for L3, with them to their new project.
In a sense, you can call it Lineage 3 yes, but! it is called TERA now.
Anyways my 2 cents, I hope this clears some stuff up.
Impressive graphics. (Will my antique computer run them?)
Definitely more taste and creativity in landscaping and monster design than what our present L2 artists have, who tend to express awesomeness by simply sticking more spikes on archetypal horned demons.
But where are the Dwarves? Who is crafting the equipment? How do players get equipment?
And I only see the HP bar of players. Is there no target window indicating my victim's blood reserves? Do I have to kill the monsters blind?

there is no targeting system in tera.. you can select targets with mouse like AION or L2.. targeting system is like Counter Strike's :))))
So, by proxy, you're saying that "Lineage 3" is crap, therefore nullifying your entire thread. Nice.
If there is not any targeting system in tera that doesnt mean that there were not targeting system in L3.. no1 knows which codes were stolen.. maybe they have removed targeting system after code was stolen? who knows...
secondly i dont they.. they are both news from tera and l3... not my ideas..

tera is crapp
Why? Because it actually involves some sort of skill to actually shoot arrows, and nukes and melee people? ... The only thing crap about Tera is the fact it's probably a year away still.

i assume the dorf equivalent will be those fuzzy manratpig looking things and since the koreans (and japanese) value cuteness above all else you can bet they are gonna suck but otherwise it seems NC is learning from aion and gear should be easy to get from shops, quests and drops
lol @ skill. How long will it take for an aim-bot to come out for Tera? haha.
I introduce you to Terawalker! Now you can own all your enemies without any effort at all. I wonder if the "we don't give a shii " attitude carried over to Bluehole studios from NCsoft.
