Hey Guys. after playing this game non stop for over 5 years I decided to take a 2 week Break to see if I miss the game.
Did I miss the game? No....
Did I miss the people in the Game? Yes it's what kept me here the most.
Are you going to keep playing? Sadly no. I'm going 2 tie up a few loose ends in game and I won't be renewing after this month. It's time to Move on.
The Last Update and Event just Killed it for me and I had to take a break.
Don't ask for any Gear I will be blowing Up most of my weapons for the Hell of it the next few days. except for my Best ones. Think I'm going to wait for next Update before I play again and see if the next update can spark some new life.
If not then I might give away what's left of my Gear when I come back after the next Update if I decided not 2 stay.
Feb 4th my Account ends so I will be popping in and out till then. Also I will say my Official Goodbye on the last day.

Personally this game became really boring in the middle of C4 but I stuck around longer than I expected.
So I will miss you guys especially guys like spudnik, judas, jkoster, jayla and all the ign team, megatron, and drakkos...and even debating with trensharo, and all the people from Lionna. Good job to the new L2 staff, good events, community work and stuff. But heh, well I stopped playing for more than two weeks and didn't give it a second thought so I will be able to depart easily. Don't see anything in the next update that will bring me back so. I rarely played in the last year or so anyway so...
next thing might be Star Trek online, but WoW and Aion is a no go.
Im thinking of playing smittie again, my 72 spoiler, any love for those in the future nan?

i figure NC's idea of a dorf boost is to add new stuff to craft and they seem to have caught onto the fact that BH like it more when they can spoil stuff when it is added as opposed to getting mats from quests for a few years and then adding it to spoil when 90% of the player base doesn't need it any more so if you can lvl your BH to 84 (or just 76 with +20ish spoil) you should have a pretty useful class next chron
79 to 80 just takes ages..
my calculations show 9% an hour at FOG how i hunt if i was 79/80. you'd need pretty stacked buffs (minimum BD and se/wc) and gear (boss jewels and tallum) to kill as quick as me but even if you add a live bishop as a leecher and kill half the mobs you'd still do ok
now i get less than 1% in 2 hours at silenos with no vitality

:O I dun believe you! Even half that would be like amazing. You're talking 79-80 in less than a few days (realistically, not bot mode of no-lifer). Hard to buy!

Yes you Can (if I quit for good) Just have 2 wait for next Update if your still Around. I'm Quiting for Now but Will check out the Next Update. I have to see after the Next update.
What was it about the last update that made you think this hard about quitting? Did your class get a hard nerf?
No Nerf just with all they Added it just forces you to Go S grade even if you don't want it. back in the Day you could get to 75 In B grade and it was fine. Now You have to have S grade with Elements. The Game is More Work then Fun and the last Update just Push that Fact more for me.
Then the Event was fun but when it was over it was just that Over. I look in my inventory and what did I get from the Long Event? More Trees.

Nope didn't care for the Look of S grade Armor I like my Appella. I did want a S grade Dagger with 150 Water but Can't Stand the Cost of SSS. Might been ok if My WS could make SSS. I have Ton SSA thou.

5 days ago I bought account service to transfer to Teon. For this time I didnt play l2 , mb I log in and made private store and nothing more. Now after this only 5days I dont want to play anymore lol.

It shouldn't be deleted, good bye posts should be allowed is any decent community. It's just funny how they always use "consistency and fairness" as an excuse to not help people when they make such obvious exceptions to their oh so serious rules. If they just treated everyone with the same decency they seem to treat some, then suddenly they would be able to be consistent and fair without ******* off at least 90% of the community and being a main reason for people quitting this otherwise pretty decent game.

I'm single. And I didn't start playing L2 because of a boyfriend, husband, or any other romantic relationship. You really shouldn't speak in absolutes! There's an exception to every rule!

anyway Ashley I think you sold yourself short by not embracing endgame and insisting on clinging to A grade for whatever reasons. A grade weapon vs S weapon is night and day, even for just pve. I also think you should have stopped screwing around in your own clan for so long. If you had joined a large, good clan long ago you may not be at this point now. You only recently left behind your self-led micro-clan and joined a real clan, so there hasn't been sufficient time to establish strong bonds with those people. I've been in clan/ally with some of the same people for four years now, and most of the rest for well over a year to several years. It feels like home for all of us to be together still, for you to know them and them to know you so well. We even all transferred server together and no matter what drama goes on in and out of clan we'll still be together.
And all the new updates have content almost only for endgame. For instance, I care about what my toon looks like too, and I can now look forward to someday getting a Destiny set which I think looks great, as I don't care for the look of Dynasty on my class but I will have to wear it anyway for some time (I love the look of Drac but it is inferior for pvp purposes). My other goals include getting all my subs to 76/third class, getting the next level on my main, and someday getting an S80 weapon to +7. So if you aren't at endgame or worse yet refusing to enter it, yea L2 is probably gonna be boring forever for you.

To AshleyHunter: Good luck to you wherever you decide to go, you've been a good and active participant of the L2 community ever since the beginning and you will be missed.
getting level 80 was like a 2nd wind after being in the lvl 79 funk for so long; I got to craft and wear new weapon and armor after I'd been in the same stuff for over a year, and mostly didn't feel like such a noob anymore.
if all else fails, join a pvp clan, the drama that still goes on can keep you wrapped up in the game for sure ><
