Ace just came back to l2 after about a year+ break. Any ideas on what to learn with the 1 Holy Pomander? Do we still get 2 or do we start with one and purchase the other one?
What to get...
Mark of Shillen, Celestial Shield, Purify, and Major Group heal. Leaning towards Major group heal at the moment.
What Ace would use it for...
Rift soloing, or partying as a recharger/healer/backup healer.
Also, Ace is only lvl 76, it'll be a long time before Ace does anything even remotely high level. Trying though ;_;.

Did EE's get gimped this update? It really seems like it?
We lost all of our unique buffs/pr. SE's can now heal as well as EEs and SE's got Children of Shilen (But we can't learn it?). Powater seemed to get gimped in the previous update.
Unsure on which is best for pve PoWind or PoWater. Guess it depends on how often the nuker crits. PoWater is probably better for SpS in pve, where as PoWind seems better for SS, for human nukers it probably doesn't matter. Unless Children of Shillen can be cast on anybody...then SE > EE for nukers

Heals... Bish > EE > SE
Buffs... SE > EE > Bish
Now it seems like...
Heals... Bish > SE > EE... SE's are only better healers if the SE takes the necessary heal(s)
Buffs... SE > EE > Bish... Unsure on the Buffing...EE's could still be equal to SEs on this...
What is Ace missing? However, these problems aren't that bad. Ace still gets parties. :)
Children of Shilen is just a low lvl passive all DE mystics get, it is not a buff you can cast.
Can't tell you what skill to get, it really depends what parties you usually are in. Stigma and Major Group heal are both good, but there are other good skills, too.

Yay! TYVM for the post. Ace ended up taking Stigma. It really does help against stronger mobs. Just starting to OE skills, currently only Turn Undead is OE+1.
Ace'll wait till after 78 to OE other skills (unless unholy resist really is that important....). The grind seems a lot easier now so, hopefully 78 isn't out of reach anymore.
More Questions...
1) Is spell force still a lvl 77 spell? Ace looked for it but couldn't find it. However, according to Lineage2.com it should be there...maybe Ace is just blind or seeing things or both....
2) Currently, Ace is using a loaned DC set. Should Ace save up for an Arcana set or just buy another DC set (would buy a cheap tallum set but can't seem to find any anymore...)?
Either way though, Ace is really only concerned with PvE at the moment (too poor to pvp...). So, your post is really encouraging to know that EEs still have a place in the healer world.

Unholy Resist is not really that important unless you can +9 it. It can wait, you may have better use of your SP now.

It is not needed anymore (the lvl 80 skills don't need seeding now), so it was removed. The information about skills on lineage2.com site is obsolete, you better use lineage2.rochand.com (http://lineage2.rochand.com/Knowledge/race_elf.php?my_class=elf_evas_saint) atm.

Arcana set is useless for healers unless you PvP. DC if you need castspeed (for some AoE parties, for example) or runspeed, Majestic otherwise (for extra MP regen). Majestic in Rift, unless you have a recharger pet (kookaburra or event wizard... but bear in mind that they both are aggro magnets and that kookaburra is much more squishy than the event wizard), then DC is fine too.
