I'm new at Official servers and I already notice that in here exists HUGE differences between privates were I play for the past 5 years. But I like to learn and me learning... again!
So I create a SWS and would like to know what gear set up you suggest for B and A grade?
Depending on private bugs (yes, because every private got at least one :D) I play:
B Grade: BW Heavy -> BOP Guidance and Kris over enchanted with Focus
A Grade: Majestic Heavy Set / NM Shield / DLE Focus

Seeing as B grade is quick, and A grade is relatively quick as well. I would just stick to common gear/shop gear. Not to mention being new to retail, I highly doubt you can afford a BOP (if you can even find one) and an OE'd kris.
DLE also does not have focus... The SwS is all about crit rate, and since you wont be pvping at low levels I would go with a Infernal Master with focus in A grade.
For what I spoke with my clan m8's it's better skip crafting until S Grade! OMG... This gonna be funny... or not! :P
Pretty much... As someone who is knew, and choosing to play a support class, common gear all the way to s-grade. This will save you TONS of money, and more than likely you can get all that gear for free from your clanmates. Most SAs for A grade 1/h swords suck.. so having a common DLE will do the trick.
Whats better for a SwS 76+? A +7 Heavens Divider 150fire, an AS /CD, FB 150holy /focus or a Masterwork FB /focus 150 holy? Or anything else is best that I didn't mention?
I personally hated the 2 hand sword ...slow songs slow hits !
So with that i say best to have a fb or an AS FB + shield is pretty good for both pvp and pve ... AS creates much faster timing in songs and clearly hits
but u do lose some dmg output and some pdef but not that bad
Also suggest u get a bow for pvp and also sometimes helpful in pve if your trying to drag a mob :)

well, there are a number of ways to make money in the game beginning from level 8.
i suggest you make an alt, get common gear, a polearm and a couple friends and learn how to go AOE in a catacomb.
the seal stones are still a valid source of income, and can lead to much better and faster gear acquisition for your main if you also use the alt to sell what normal gear you own once youre done using it at 76.
bottom line here is you dont make money PVEing, you make money sitting. find something to sell, farm the heck out of it, and sit the heck down until your money is in.

the best way to get money as a sws is to join a party and only sing... you dont get to spend money on shots or anything, and at the same time get your part of all the drops (or only adena if they got the party on finders keepers)... ask a here to drop you a shout "sws 65 lf pole group"... we're not a common class, so you might get lucky
