I remember in a previous newsletter there was talk of a paid service which takes a current subclass and turns it into a new toon altogether. Any news on when this would come out?
I think that was just a thought that they had, but nothing has come out of that thought yet. I dont think i would hold my breath for that either. :mad:
i think too many people complained about it.
although the one true feature it held was that it allowed Warsmiths and Overlords to turn their subs into mains.
That service is available in Korea. When I asked about it here a couple days ago, I got this answer:
We are definitely striving to provide all available services to our players in North America and Europe. At this moment, I don't have any specific information to provide about the service you're inquiring about. As soon as we have any solid information for these types of things, we will post it on the website and the forums.
So no date yet, which imo means it will still be a couple months, although I seriously cannot understand WHY, if the service is already live in Korea. Should not take that long to simply use the same code here.
I'd like to make my sub into my main....but since I cannot change my Dominator into a sub.... I really want this paid service...
I'm just hoping NCsoft follows through with this service... or allow Dominators the chance to change main to WC and then switch sub to main... and for WS to choose to become FS and then switch sub to main...
2 years ago they offered a free one time only switch your main and sub...it was in august ithink 2008...i did it i switched my dancer with my archer...........so it was available at one time....so my main became my sub and vice versa....hmmm

That's not the service discussed here (the sub to main switch is available already as a pay service). What they have in Korea and we here do not have is a different service: they can make a separate char out of a subclass. So you can have your old char with the same main class, and the previous subclass as a different character on your account. Many would love to have this service here, e.g. those with a WS/OL main (they can't do the sub to main service), or those with a main which is 81+ who would love to lvl their lvl 80 sub further. For example my bd sub is lvl 80, but I play it often because it is needed. And I do not feel like delvling my main class down to 80 just to do the sub/main switch.

you do not have to delevel your main. When ncsoft applies the switch yur main will just be put at level 80 100%
