spoil ftw. i have 3 spoilers and a ws atm but it would be so great to spoil on main... only problem is that scavs would never get partys again, least w/ most of the new areas having poor natural drops scavs get a bit of play.
seeing u cant sub a crafter i dont think u would be able to craft nice try tho!
What's this got to do with the question at hand? Dark Elves can't sub Light Elves yet some EE's got Empower and some SE's got Clarity.
As for the OP... I get the feeling you're being sarcastic yet fearful it will happen, and understandably fearful. It's like other classes potentially being given CP Heals destroying the need for OLs.

don't think you really understand dorfs if you think we wouldn't jump at the chance to trade our "monopoly" on craft and spoil for decent skills. not sure how OLs feel but if i was one i'd prolly be ready to give WC cp heals for the ability to have a few WC buffs
ALL the other healers are already destroyed/useless in PvP cause they lack CP heals
in the distant future we might get warrior skill inks etc, but i higly doubt we get to take spoil and/or craft ^^
not that any1 would realy take it when they got an option for something much better

There's a mighty big difference between your OL/WC example vs dwarves opening their skills to, as your poll and post suggests, every other melee class. I have a WS and I enjoy playing it but I would not give my crafting skills away simply to have a few extra skills. I **** sure would not give my CP heals away for a few extra buffs. I will support the fact that dwarves need better skills however.
As to Belophan's post, if a person playing a healer actually knows what they're doing they should certainly be able to keep their party alive, at least for a time, despite the members having lost CP. Overlord's CP heals are no where near as strong as a Bishop's healing potential. Even EE's can out-heal OL CP heals. Nothing guarantees survival but if your healer knows what he's doing then the chances for survival are much greater.
OL-CP heals aren't really powerful enough to replace a cardi or EE during pvp at all (or even come close to them! or when was the last time you heard: "A cardinal? no thanks, this is a pvp party, let's take an OL d00dz!") but the OLs in my clan are too busy debuffing the hell out of an enemy to really bother I think.
As for the skill-link - I'd definitely rather get something pvp-related like mirage or something that lets me stun.
SE are horrible healers. They lack both balance life (which is like -the- best healing skill in the game) and the cast speed. They're okay for small groups and decent for easy-mode-aoe, but that's about it.
Cardis are the best healers in the game hands down, and if you feel that CP heals are going to make THAT huge of a difference, enchant benedictation for CP heal and see for yourself how little of an impact it makes. There is only one class in the game that can CP-heal and that's a class that happens to be unwanted and pretty useless in pve and hard to level - no need to gimp them by handing CP-heal-skills to other classes.

No, Overlord is not hard to lvl anymore. Toggle up!
Dwarves need more skills, I don't contest this, but I would not allow others to craft/spoil for the sake of it. Hammer Crush stuns btw, maybe not enough but it does... And high level dwarves can chain stun.
The skill trading was a bad idea, was an easy way out. Instead of saying, "Let's make X class stronger and more desirable in comparison to Y and Z but not simply outperform and thus reverse the current situation," they simply said, "F-it, let's give everything to everyone (more or less) so everyone stops crying". Yeah, that worked, everyone stopped crying. In a nuker party, why would one take an EE for clarity if one can simply take an SE with clarity now? Ok, so EE's have other skills to offer, but if all you want is clarity then all you need now is an SE with clarity. EE's can lose out even more now.
Imagine if OLs could now get Recharge through skill linking. Imagine if WCs could now get Resist Shock. Imagine if PPs could get Empower and Stigma.
About Overlord toggles, the ability to run around with Soul Guard up permanently while attacking mobs is overpowered. Soul Guard should be an "oh crap" skill for when aggro is pulled. I used to run into 10-15 mobs with Soul Guard on and control them and then when the party defeated enough I had to turn it off or run out of mp, now I can just simply leave it on permanently. Robe classes should not be able to permanently sustain a greater P.Def than a tank of equal level.
Yeah if they started to let melee classes swap skills, spoil & sweep, and craft would not be on my list of things to take. I would pick things like guts, frenzy, battle roar, shadow step, UD, hate, and things like this before I picked the crafting or spoiling skills. (note: You have to choose pre 76 skills here as that is what they gave the healer classes, otherwise Hide and Mirage would be on this list) :)
if there would be skill links for fighters I think it would not be between all the fighters.. you can't take buffer skill by a healer, so you probably won't be able to take skills between different kinds of fighters. I think there are 5 categories of fighters - melees (warlord, dorfs, destro), force users (tyrant, gladi), archers, daggers and tanks.
so you'd probably be able to take spoil with destro and warlord only... with Warlord or Warsmith i'd rather take rage/frenzy and with Destro I'd take warlord's spear mass stun.
great idea btw, maybe they'll do it some day to fix the suckyness of dorfs and WL. I highly doubt it though :)
the warrior tree consists of wl, destro, glad, tyrant and the 2 dorf classes and if fighter skill linking was added it would logically be between those 5 classes and not daggers, tanks or any of the mages/buffers

i wouldn't exactly call it a fix since a tyrant/glad with frenzy/rage would still destroy a dorf just as easily as they do now unless they gave dorfs the option to pick 3 or 4 skills while everyone else gets 1 and still you would have to skip some of the buffs like lionheart and battle roar not too mention OTB which means a guaranteed loss in OLY to destros. what it would do is make dorfs a more viable PVE class but i just don't think anyone would ever play a destro again since it would essentially make WS a destro with party buffs

Doombringer and Soul Hound are also considered warriors.
and everyone would just take Disarm and Steal Divinity so better just hide this thread and hope it never happens.
but if it was just craft or spoil I'd take spoil ofc. but then spoil rate for good stuff is still kinda bad so probly wouldn't even waste the mp for it unless I'm really bored.
Orc Mystic Spoil Action...
although i would actually take Skill ID#444 Festive Sweeper... and find a nice Bounty Hunter with Spoil Festival to duo with. bwaha.
orc Mystic unlimited mp spoils would be very fun.
besides what's the good of spoil without sweeper?
Dorfs need to keep beeing unique for their craft and spoil skills.
That been said I do admit dorfs can use some love when it comes to fighter ability's.
