When that happens to me i reboot the computer...if that doesn't do it i run a check file.
Last night 5-6 pm EST Phoenix was down...so it might have been temporary.

Sometimes that happens to me after I've either loaded a new antivirus program or forgot to recalibrate my firewall giving permission to run L2.
Check all of the above.

yea getting stuck at logg in is usally one of two above, has been the firewall or antivirus for me usally when this happens.
