That is not a suggestion, I am just wondering whyâ¦
Let say if you are a castle lord, why do you allow war tag come into your town?

I tried telling the guards to not let them, but the idiots just won't listen.

Hard to get good help these days, and the castle guards and town guards are really no more than first yearers anyways.
Gogo Guard upgrade and intelligence updates :)

Because castle owners will war everyone and demand a toll for entry.
If that's a bad thing, I don't know.

I'm a Dwarf and I wouldn't even dream of it!
I'd much rather have a tax on monster drops and spoils.

I'm thinking more about quests. Imagine having to pay to speak to a quest NPC....... Especially at higher levels.

Actually there is such option.
You can activate it in castle, and ask all NPC to attack war tags in your town.
We tried it.
Problem is that they get almost instantly killed and their families ask for pension.
In 1 day cost of that annuity was higher than income from Tax'es, so we deactivate that option again....
