That's right, you have the opportunity to become part of the staff at NCsoft! We are looking for an enthusiastic person that is willing and excited to learn the behind-the-scenes workings of Lineage II and develop their bug finding and testing skills. Work in sunny Austin, Texas to become part of the team and learn what its all about!
erm, the use of "temporary" would imply that this is directed at someone looking for a summer job perhaps....
Specially if being required to be at the headquaters..... would pretty much narrow down the suitable people to work their as only residence of austin texas.

You guys should really consider branching out into Independent Contractors that can work remotely for some of the positions...
i'm sure they considered it
and i'm sure they discarded that consideration for a logical reason.
that reason likely has something to do with not wanting to make new content available to persona with alterior motives. at least at NCHQ you wont get people ripping off game files for private servers unless they physically take the files and the software by usb off the premises.

This is for the most part irrelevant as someone with petitioning abilities and GM skills still don't have direct access to files or anything else for that matter, just a different in game client and if i recall what i was told, mostly just web based client to access and reply to petition sent/received.
Likely what they don't want to bother setting up is that the petition is intranet based and not internet based. Essentially meaning that the system works within the headquaters network only and they have no wish to go through the relatively simple pains of allow a VPN or secured Internet connected clients to access the same system.
While i can respect that for security reasons, a properly setup VPN isn't gonna provide any more security holes then what they already have.
