Everyone try counting the amount of times a random person you are watching blinks. You will not get the count right one single time.
IRL ppl blink too fast for you to notice.
So even if in game chars dont blink, it wouldnt be "unrealistic".
Then again, this game might have bigger problems than some eyes not blinking lol.
The human brains perception is far more advanced than you want to make believe here. For example: a single frame of advertising cut into a movie will be registered by the viewers subconsciousness, even if he doesn't "notice" it.
Of course there are bigger problems than some eyes not blinking. There are always bigger problems, here or in real life. Does that mean, we must ignore the "smaller" ones?
For me, one of the most stunning features of L2 is its sheer visual beauty and taste , and by removing blinking eyes the faces get lifeless and robotic, taking away from the great immersion they otherwise deliver.

Ya, subliminal messaging doesnt make you be able to count those blinks though.
Relax a bit lol, its a game, who cares if they blink or not?
I had similiar arguments before in other mmos. There are more people like me than you would imagine I guess. I understand your point of view oc, most of the time we see our chars from behind, so why care about those eyes.
But on the other hand, if the whole matter was so neglectable, why did they implement it in the first place?
I wish they could pass gas....that would be realistic!
DN has aoe gas, it's called Dread Pool, you try to run away from it, but you already inhale it and it affects your ability to run away fast.
