People complaining about bots now, obviously didn't play in Prelude - C4 or so. I remember being able to run up TOI without ever getting aggro.
I hate to admit it.. I miss that too... and even if you did manage to agro a few mobs, thank God there was a 9 toon party that was more than willing to die so you could excape.
The worst part about the botting is that you know people that were lower then you and suddenly they go bot to 80 and you see them in their new shining armor...then i really have to turn around an just not think about it hehe, but for the most part i just adept to the game/cirstances.
There's a screen shot of me on my first day on Sieghardt (July 08 I believe) on my blog, as you can see, even the goblin newbie area was swimming with bots.
I recall that when I started my necromancer in 2005 I used to stand in the middle of a group of bots and pick off their mobs before they got to them. Bots were great for crowd control... too many mobs to solo? No problem! Let the bots tidy up for ya!

i agree!! I vote for this option! After all wheres the fun in being lvled by a program and not for yourself??? None!!!! I dont feel any kind of sorrow for them... And the fun is that if you kill them, someone in a shinning s80 armor will apear... Need To say more?!...
They will never get rid of them all. But as long as fewer then its alot better. Fewer farmers, and heaps more risk for any players that wanna do it, much better than it just being left alone and free for everyone to use bot.

while leveling my sub i ran into a certain untagged train of bots all the time. low and behold soon they were all running around in s80 in a certain "powerful" clan. I reported them every time i saw them xping...
remember when the bots names looked like this

those were the days...and in cruma tower the leader was prettyboy
chuckle it has gotten alot better now i must admit that and it seems like NCSoft does want a nice game for us..........i thank them for that
What ticked me off the most is that the bots would level in class change quest area. I went red a few times because I could not get my 700 mobs done because the bots had every area out there.

No ... they finally figured out the perception of Lineage 2 and there do nothing attitude was starting to trickle into there other games and communities. Seen the AION forums lately...
Plz Sace , i think you must asap run what you are thinking over there.
Almost a year with 2 acc---- but i cant handle the auto players unfortunetly.
They are still there and causes bad luck to us.
In a month i will take my decision and it will not be easy.

well If you leave the game becuse you are bored ot if I can understand that, If you leave the game for the bots I dont understand you.
But if you ever find a game with no cheaters and bots, exploiters. let me know I come join you.
"bots" or farmers have been inthis game since prelude.
Be thankful its bots now-a-days, because the actual farmers would actually fight you right there (And win with their deleveled skills - Anyone remember the 10-20 abyss walkers/th's farming the newbie dungeons back in the day for adena?) Atleast the bots are af-k(I can't say a f k?) when you mess with them.
