are their any plans?
i would love to see another NEW NA server ... since the last 3 was always EU.....
else according to the numbers on each server... their should be some merges... i think...
but a new server would be more awsome... i know NC is working on other games and prefer newer games... but i guess numbers still show that ppl play.... and a few more advertising should help i guess to keep it up. i hope some share same thinking with me :)
a new server would be awesome! but it's not what we need, server merge is what we need, Luna was even a mistake.. why making another servre with 500 people ?
luna was just a haven for bots when it first started. couldn't kill an imp for all the bots...any new server would be exactly the same if NC doesn't do anything to change that.

If you told me.. they were going to create a server.. where any kind of transfer was impossible.. and GMs would be online all day.. I would say go for it. Any other way..I say no.

i think luna wasnt perfect but maybe its fact that NA ppl got bad pings on EU server... and Luna startet toooo early for a new EU after franz.... i rly would like see new NA server :) since i dont think that 235325325 greeks will go their or russian or german or what ever.... i rly dont think it.... so it could be smth nice... and GM online 24/7 i guess nc wont make that happen.... but would be cool
and 6month till xfer open ?? thats to short.... should be atleast 1 year or even longer.... i dont want a dead new server where all ppl xfer to... and go..... im awsome im hero and thats all after 1 week.... dont want these ppl....

why? cause u just hit high lvl and don't want to start again ?
or u don't want some ppl leave your server and go for a new trip ?
i guess either one of my 2 options fit to you :)
server starts are cool :)
atleast its fair play for the first 1 - 1.5 years... till it start getting overpowered and ppl who just hit 79 on the normal way have NO chance.... even inside oly.... cause they get enemys with overpowered gear....

this game needs a new server like America NEEDS a new additional tax. L2 needs LESS servers--and new ones DO NOT ACCOMPLISH WHAT YOU THINK THEY DO.

and after 1.5 years you too will ask for server merges.
and fyi every new player is pretty much never ever going to catch up to those of us who have been playing already 3, 4, 5+ years. there will always be way overpowered enemies to crush you, no worry. yer darn right I don't want to start again, I worked hard for a long time to get where I am. you want a brand new server start, go find a private to play on.
the retail game is dying off, not only do we not have enough players to sustain a new server (and NCsoft refuses to adequately advertise this game, therefore a new server would fail just as they fail to maintain the population as it is now), we very much need server merges to maintain quality for the rest of us still left on the servers that already exist (besides teon and penix).
honestly it makes me pretty mad now, it's very clear we need a merge and I wish NC would get off their rears and just go ahead with it instead of closing threads about it. it's an obvious issue, it needs to be addressed, or a clear reason given as to why not, or the anger and constant new threads asking for merges will continue.

yeah, mention of mergers too--but that aside, a new server just doesn't do what newbies tend to believe. Most of us have been through these "new" servers and they are not utopias where everything is fair and even--not even close.
What they really are is just another server for widespread cheating--just like the current servers. Even with a merge and a "new" one simultaneously, even if there are "no transfers for x time, etc."--it's still just a new platform for everything wrong with the game.
New servers fix nothing.

but i also heard.... from old ppl who quit like 2 years ago... they would start again but only on a new server.... where its fair and fun ....
but NC need to advertise more... but i can understand NC too that they dont wanna spend money on such an old game... but they need to realize that L2 is by far 1 of the best.... i dont know any other mmorpg that comes close to L2... unless u are an WoW fanboy... then u like the others too ... but else theirs none

This is a nice sentiment--sort of like "I'd like to buy the world a Coke...and live in perfect harmony".
But old players won't return and stay. They didn't either time before in any #'s that mattered.
This "new server" won't be fun or fair. It will be just exactly like the last 2.
I know, I know--you envision a different, new server. But NCSoft isn't going to open some better patrolled, high exp-like server where only the righteous can play.
They'll open ANOTHER server--so it will function, look, feel, and be populated just like all the rest.
Sorry--I know your intentions are good. It simply wont work any differently than the last new servers (which had bots from the first minute in EPIC #'s!!).

Many server are dieing, i'm from franz we are dieing each day
and if you start to think that 30% or more of the players in those servers are bots, you can see that the servers are really dead.
each day more and more ppl leave server and new ppl don't join official because of bots.
