what the hell is this?
I've never seen it before.. just popped up on my screen while I was killing some monsters just outside of Goddard.
with the skill viewer I could search for any skills and actually use them, too bad they didn't have any effects.
I could for example search for fire, then all skills with the name fire came up, even firework..

I sent a petition in-game when the window(s) popped up, asked what the "skill viewer" is for..
but they misunderstood my question, they though I ment my skill window,..
I also asked my clan if they got the same message, but they wondered what the hell I were talking about
Looks like a data packet was sent miss-formed and popped up a GM window. This is where they can test out skills without having to essentially add them to their character.
I think its like a bug ... they pop up accidentaly..this happen me a lot ...a lot of ppl have see this ! its ok :P dont worry :)

stop posting this at forums. all have seen this already
go to the last tab and go parosing through EVERYTHING that is currently implemented in game.
including armor and masks and epics rings and so forth, even stuff that we currently never see in game but is actually there.
You can actually activate skills that are not for your class too, including those of epic raids such as the anthras tail whip and a whole wackload of other things.
it has absalutely no effect on your toon though, no one else sees these effects..
course it's kinda neat running about spamming hammer crush on npcs and players while in town lol.
warning, if it does happen, do not try to click the buttons on the skill viewer while out of game... as it will crash your program.
the skill viewer follows your screen into the log in screen...
so it is there, even in character select screen.
if you try to do a skill viewing while in character select screen...
it will crash.
i know, because i tried it:)
here are some images of some skills, i spent a better part of 2 hours standing around pulling skill lists and seeing what they looked like.. BTW figured i'd start off with one of the strangest things i found

I guess if you send to server proper ID of skill you have it....
While L2 Client can't do that 3rd program easily can.
Maybe on server-side there are some simple validation but when I see those SS there are 'thousands' of 'skills' .. guess not all are checked ;)
2-3 months ago I have fight with Tyrant who continuously had been using skill that had effect like tank skill, Magical Mirror.
During 5 min of fight (he died 3 times ) he manage to use at least 4 times that skill.
I was thinking about augment/amulet but now I'm sure I just know reason :/
Yah i've gotten it 3 or 4 times in the past 7 or so months. Each time it pops up i have a heart attack thinking something bad just happened cause i always seem to get it in the situations where i'm pvping or something.
i believe it is a reference to the Ban ironkid thread some time back...

the skills are shown as if you were using them, even epic boss skills, and other classes...
use of the skills won't give you any benefit other than the pleasure of seeing it... which is kind of sad really.
most people close it down as soon as they see it.
me, i flip out for a moment because of all the extra windows that pop up then i close them all but skill viewer to play with later.
i'd kind of like this thing to be implemented in some form or another...
nice to pass the time while waiting for a raid party to come together.
to sace:is it banable offence if we spend some time to play with this window?:D
no, a bug that has absalutely no EFFECT at all on the gameplay surrounding your character or anyone elses cannot be a bannable offence.
All skills are local only meaning they appear to be performed on your screen, but in game, everyone just sees you standing there not doing anything, appearing AFK.
as for control...
type into the different bars letter combination or numbers.
then you can start playing around with id numbers, or other letter combos.
i believe it is the last tab which the skills show up in.
maybe the actual gm tool has more use than just viewing...
i have yet to have any of the other tabs show anything.
my personal favorite is ID 444 which is an AOE sweeper skill which was once implemented just to be removed due to over poweredness...
called Festive Sweeper. unfortunately it doesn't say power or mp cost.

a dorf skill that's OP? no wey! lol, I remember that skill, when was it taken out? around C2? Just had to learn how to press shift and click then spoil each mob . . . the life of a spoiler is never easy . . .
the last one i search,but all was empty.how i can see all theese skills if it pops again?Type a name for certain skills, or leave it empty and click the skill search button for all skills

It was never taken out, because it was never in the game, well it is there, just not active to learn/use, i wonder why tho.
True Nuku it was never in the game, If i remember correctly it came to the Korean PTS or was going to the PTS but was removed for some odd resaon.
Yeah C2 is when we got spoil festival and C1 (begin or mid patch don't remember) was when party loot included spoils (alot of angry Scavi's/BH's at that time, including me lol)

You dont need to specify Greedy when you use the word Scavi or Dwarf :D
