RE: 1 winner per server: In past contests, there have usually only been a first place, 2nd and 3rd place. That equals only 3 winners. By having 1 winner per server, there are now 8 prizes total, and it eliminates the possibility that there would be 0 winners on your own server. Personally I felt that this made the contest more appealing, but as always, I am learning from your feedback what it is that you prefer.
Ok, just one question -- this is the only thing that's keeping me from participating:
If you are a winner, you permit NC Interactive, Inc. and NCsoft Europe Limited to use your name, likeness, photograph, hometown, and any comments that you may make about yourself or this contest that you provide for advertising and promotional activities.
I don't mind NCSoft employees knowing my location -- I mean it says it on my account so if you wanted to know you could just look. But I really don't need, nor do I want, the rest of the L2 community to know where I live... (No offense, I love you guys! I'd just prefer not to have any random knocks at my door.)

Yes, I can't think of any reason that we would post this information. The rules are inclusive for all types of contests. For example if the entry was a picture of you (like for the Lookalike contest), then obviously the winning picture would be posted. In the case that there was to be any kind of publicity or promotional follow-up on this contest, I'm sure that personal privacy will be included at the player's discretion.

2% before Vitality was like getting a new level each time.

to much hassle for no gain and definatly not fun
if ur lucky u might get 10% of each server to participate
more like 1% participation, or less. none of that stuff has value, no, especially if it isn't tradeable. I would only do this for the wiz hat which has some value to sell, but if I can't sell it, I won't even bother. I've never participated in a contest and probably never will. A lot of time spent for nothing, basically. These appeal to only a very few people who play this game.

EPIC WIN - next time call your State Rep before blaming NC - granted NC is not 100% perfect, but with contests please refer your comments to your own Country/State laws..... don't make me re-post my "wall of text crits the forum users" for the reason why you can not do a global contest/event for everyone in every Country/State.
At least this one includes at lot more people that can be a part of it.

Well I don't see how this can be true, since just one of the places I have found was in an area that my tank found somewhat challenging. And for a lvl 69 tank to find challenging a lvl 40 toon would be suicidal. Also I have been around the basic places of the world and "thought" I knew the place, but some of these "riddles" are to obscure to get. I havent been to the higher lvl content though.

Yes I did see your post above, and I googled it, and still just dont understand how Vesper, or Venus has anything to do with a series of weapons.
The only things I found were not weapons, but stuff like basket, comb, and mirror.
And not sure how these items are considered a weapon. I know I'm prolly being dense, and when I finnally figure it out will face palm myself repeatedly.

There is currently no public news about future events nor about Panda hats as contest prizes. When there is, you will hear it. :)

My mail was rejected. Sace, could you please see if there's a maximum limit to what your servers receive? My original mail was just over 7 meg - I've now increased the JPG compression and they're about 2meg now... hopefully this time it'll go through.

What happens next is all of the eligible entries will be sorted and assessed. If you are a winner, you will be emailed within 1 week from now. The email will contain a document that explains the legal details about winning the contest, some follow-up instructions, and questions about which prizes you would like to receive. Your prizes will be delivered to you within 1 more week.
The winners list will be posted on the Tour of Aden Contest page (http://www.lineage2.com/archive/2010/03/tour_of_aden_co.html) on the Lineage II website. This list will show the winner for each server. There will also be a collection of screenshots posted, but due to the high number of large pictures involved in this contest, only 1 image per riddle will be displayed to the public. The images displayed will be considered "the Best of the Best" from all eligible entries, not just the winners.
So stay tuned to find out if your entry wins, and to see the beautiful winning pictures on the website! Thanks again, everybody! :)

I'm afraid I can't explain the exact details of the judgment, but to answer your question, yes, an entry could still win even if some of the riddles aren't displayed correctly.
The "Best of the Best" images will, of course, demonstrate the absolute best interpretations of the riddles and the most beautiful presentation of them. :)

Whilst going through all of my entries, I actually thought that for next time if there are a given number of tasks, such as this, per entry then the judgement should be on each.... hard to explain but if there are 10 things you must do then there should be 10 winners (overall or per server).
For example, for riddle #1, one winner per server. Same for #2, #3 and so on... make sense? This way it would not only make it easier to judge, since it'd be easier to decide on a winner by individual category rather than by the overall result... I know, my explanation is terrible, but I'm sure someone can make sense of it! :)

Sace, the email containing my screenshots has been returned as "undelivered", for unknown reasons to me. I sent a petition 24 hours ago and still haven't got a reply, so I am asking here: is there something that can be done in order for me to get into competition, or should I just "forget about it"? That would suck imo.

I think for future contests of this type, some kind of reply email saying "entry received" would be really nice.
I know undeliverable emails are one of those "wow sucks for you" instances (like a sweepstakes entry getting lost in the post)... but a delivery confirmation would be nice so we know if we don't get one, that our message probably got lost in transit or is going to be rejected or something.
I've had emails returned as undeliverable over 3 weeks after sending them... so it's possible to submit an entry on the first day of a contest and not know your entry didn't make it there until the entry period was over.

Yeah. I want to see the winners but the contest did say that winner probably wouldn't be posted until around the 26th of April while the winner emails were suppose to go out on Monday, so obviously i guess we didn't win unless we were second place :(
