question on this Freya update

i just returned to the game after some time away and it good to be back. so this recent update we have now is still new to me with the whole mailing system etc. but i was on you tube today, an seen videos of this update to come. from the look of it looks like they changed and added some emotes with an addition of a raid boss. i was wondering if we are gonna see this anytime soon and if anyone has any sneak peak patch notes i could look at. or if this update is far far off till we see it thanks.

The PTS should be up Soon.

while I could be mistaken it is my understanding the Freya update will NOT be out soon. I heard people making that statement 3 months ago. To be sure we are all using the same definition I'll provide my source

1 a obsolete : at once : immediately (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/immediately) b : without undue time lapse : before long (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/before+long) <soon after sunrise>
2 : in a prompt manner : speedily (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/speedily) <as soon as possible> <the sooner the better> <no sooner said than done>
3 archaic : before the usual time
4 : in agreement with one's choice or preference : willingly (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/willingly) <I'd just as soon walk as drive (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/soon#)>

it will be in the end of this summer.

That's right. Japan will update to Freya on May 25:

this is Lineage 2. If we get the update by Dec 2011 it will still fall under the definition of Lineage 2 staff's version of 'soon' lol
