ok here a little tidbit i ahev noticed about lineage 2 . city of heroes witch one could say is the most sucsessful ncsoft game is amazing comapred to lineage 2
city of heroes in 4 of there 17 expansions have changed and improved that game more than lineage 2 has the entire time its been out. i mean GG city of heroes went from 1 game to now soon to be 3 city of heroes/city of villains/city of rouges. SAD part is lineage 2 came out 3 months before city of heroes and yet it is sooooo far behind it its amazing
theres been what 8 major L2 expansions and soon to be 18 CoH major expansions, its just sad
even sader YET is that L2 stuff they add is mostly for 76+ whitch is INSANELY hard for average joes like myself to reach. and from what i hear the next expansions are for 76+ too
L2 focuses WAY to much on end game content need more fun for 55-75

You should understand that the "average joe" in Lineage 2 belive that lvl 76 is a Joke.
We dont need more low lvl stuff, because we just dash through them.

Look at a map of L2 territory at Prelude. L2 has changed alot. In terms of gameplay, it evolved drastically.

How can you say City of Heros/Villans was the most successful and best game(s) from NcSoft when their COMBINED active accounts and subscriptions were almost non-existent when compared to Lineage, Lineage 2 and Aion independently... Your post became completely irrelvant after that. At no point in it's existence has City of Heros/Villans ever been anywhere near the top of NcSoft's games, lol.
I agree with you, as an A grader I feel like all of the hours I've played since level 1 are solely to hit S grade, where the game "starts," but I do feel like S grade is such a huge part of the game, it's good that they have content there so that we don't hit level 80 and QQ out of sheer boredom. Maybe NC could add some stuff to low level content, (hint hint quests worth doing) but for now I have no complaints, it's a great game.

His toon was created in April of 2004 if you care to know. He had to take a 3 year break because of the military, came back and first week his account has been hacked.
So he is not casual you just assume to much by when he register to the forums with that account, he cannot access his main forum account since his passwords were changed when his plaync account was hacked.

You realize that CoX has a completely different target audience than L2 ?
Since everyone here has a plan what L2 is about, here some keypoints of CoX.
CoX was specifically created for casual players. L2 Casuals who grind only on Vit4 every second day are Hardcore in comparison.
In CoX you log in, grab any player(s) from the lfg list, and start to do a mission instance.
Any leveldifference doesnt matter, because of the Sidekick/Mentor system. The avarage Time spend in such an instance is 30 min.
The only Missions in CoX which require a continous attendance are the Taskforces wich consist of 3+ Instances.
The Instances scale the Enemy-power and -numbers according to group size and difficulty level choosen by the group leader.
Money and Items are unimportant. Of course, if you want to max out your char, you will have to do some grinding for Enhancements to your superpowers, but its optional for basic success.
There are PvP Areas, they are big and have some Missions in them, which pit the sides (Heroes and Villains) against each other. On my low population server those were mostly empty though.
The Big difference here, is that your Powerlevel is scaled down to the maximum Level allowed in that PvP area. That makes for a level Playing field there, with the enhancements to your powers and PvP skills, making the most difference.
Personally I liked and played CoX, especially for the Quests that accompany those missions. I like the Flair of the rogue isles. The Radio and the TV wich are giving Missions, and fight each other.
But im too Hardcore (casual in L2) to stay in the game after my Char maxed out.
I will be getting 'Going Rogue' though and check it out :)

This is mostly because the development is done here in NCNA they don't have to wait tell KOREA gets off there butts to do something. And the GM's actually play the game. I would take the COH/COV dev team over the whole of KOREA any day .... they "care"

Yeah in KOREA ... they haven't had a "true" MMO be successful yet ... in NCNA ... Guild Wars and COH/COV are not true MMO's ... they are just online games to keep the WOW phanboi's busy

exactly my point CoX is satisfying this game is a grind fest if this game had to the diffaculty and laid back non 12 hour a day required feel of that game this game would have MILLIONS of user like wow the only reason i play this game is because the theme is sooooo cool.
but at the end of the day l2 is a nightmare to play
