lol what happend to bartz and devianne...? bartz was the most populated server back then, but now pheoenix seems to be on par with bartz, or maybe even more populated.
well, anyways i have a question to ask u fellas:
Which server is better to play on right now(NA)? Bartz or Pheonix?(in terms of pvp/population/friendliness/seige/market)
Nova moved to Phoenix to finally rule a server.
CC performed a reverse takeover trick on Nova on Phoenix, after which almost all the previous Nova members quit. Or at least that's their "official" story.
If they wanted to "finally" rule a server, don't you think they would have just stayed on Sayha?
Seriously.. people talkin shiiiiiiiiiii and not even knowing the timeline of events.

It is the true story.. I just went through the clan roster. Only 20 or so people who transferred from Sayha to Phoenix still remain.
Giran on Devianne is getting pretty bad... used to take me 40mins to look at every shop last year, now it's more like 5-10mins. ZzZzzz, I miss a packed Giran. I logged on each server last week and even though Deivanne isn't the worst, it's still bad just compared to 2009. Freya may bring a few people back, but a month later it'll be back to being dead.
Too bad. Would be nice if the Developers could tell us they plan on doing absolutely nothing to help get this game back on it's feet.. but I guess that should be quite obvious. I'm starting to think if bringing Freya over here is even worth translating for such a small population, might be better to let it run it's last course and just die out completely.

haha true true, o man i logged into Giran (Bartz) around 10pm EST 2 days ago, and it was almost empty, the personal shops only cover half or 1/4 of the central town. Even Teon had only 3/4 of the center covered (logged in at 2:00am PST). I remember Bartz alone had the whole Giran covered with Shops 2yrs ago.......I think NCsoft should just fuse all the servers into 2: one for NA, another for Euro.
1 thing I would like to point out. Judging the population based on sell shops in Giran doesn't do justice like it may have years ago.
The problem is the economy has changed to much. Years ago, people would sell every set they had to move up to the next grade of gear. People sold Recipes, Spellbooks, ect. Now unless you are selling S80 gear, it more then likely won't sell, so not many people bother selling stuff anymore. They save their gear for their alts, or to borrow out to others.
Parties, equipment, ect. Everything is becoming more and more clan/ally concentric. That is the biggest thing people probably notice when they come back after a few years. No more people selling to others, and no one calling out for random parties. If you are coming back to L2, my biggest word of advice is to work hard on getting into a decent sized clan of like values, and the game will be alot like L2 was a few years ago. Only the LFG shouts will be Green/Blue instead of Orange.

Right on, its being in clan that gets you doing the most content/things to do too, so perhaps and I agree does seem a bit more clan focused now.
Oh and fyi whoever said about nova, they had sayha before they went to own a different server.
Now you can buy armor/weapons till low b grade in a shop, so these items are not in a market any more.
Also, don't know why, but market is in stagnation at the moment. Prices are joke - s80 gauntlets 25mil!!! :O. Low prices = low benefit from market = low people in buy/sell shops.
