Best places to level from 40 to 76 for a Tyrant?

I'm looking for a good and fast xp track for a Tyrant. Right now I am level 40.

My friend let me borrow C grade armor (+4 plate leather) and high enchanted haste fists when he took a hiatus from the game. Before leaving he told me that (1) don't bother buying B grade armor and weapons, (2) don't try to over +++ the fists any higher than they already are, (3) craft my own soulshots, and (4) not to join a particular clan because of their alledgedly cheating membership.

Ok, I can handle that. I appreciate your help in figuring out the rest. Thanks in anticipation of your replies.

Also, are there any honest clans on the Devianne server who could use a Tyrant? Or should I leave the server??? :confused:

Whats your name on Devianne? Give Zethus or Hreidmar a shout. And there are still a lot of clean legitimate clans on Devianne.

Catacombs catacombs catacombs....collect that AA and make some adenas off it. Tyrant is awesome class and can solo Catas easy. I currently split my time on my 69 Tyrant between Martyrs and Swamp of Screams...just depends on my mood that day.

Assuming you don't have a buffer and are going to use newbie helper then:

40-52 Ivory Tower Crater then Surrounding Areas

52-64 Frozen Lab, Start in the West and work your way North East and make sure to get quest from ice merchant when you hit 53.

64-76 Alternate between Garden of wild Beast (outside goddard) and Swamp of Screams and make sure you get "A Game Of Cards" Quest from Warehouse chief in Aden.

EDIT: about gear, you can use the PL all the way to 76 but get B fist from Lux shop if for no other reason than you can stop using C Shots, then get common Dragon Grinders when you hit 61.

+1 stay in cata forever it's the best way to make money by far
newbie buffs are sufficient and you get those until you ding 76
and by then you should be in a clan you like (try several as needed)

all other open areas/quests are way less money or money sink and usually worse xp too. only leave catas for a little bit when you just are too bored of them, but go back as soon as you can.
