I m new to Lineage 2 , lvl 11 Dark elf mage , i understand this is gonna be a long grind to lvl , im looking for some small advice that help me lvl or get better gear .
Hi there, welcome to L2. First thing you should do is start looking for a clan, ask around in Giran and you should have no trouble getting into an academy. Getting no grade and D grade gear shouldn't be too hard, most clans will provide it for new players. As for leveling, the newbie helper quests and first class change will put you up to level 20+, after that grind on mobs that you can 1 or 2 shot.
If you are 2 boxing and one is SH, could try OL and SH, and get a kookaburra.
It will be kinda rough on mp in the beginning, but as long as u do herb spots you should be fine.
I have 79 SE, 2 lvl 79 EE's, another 76 SE. But when I go play my nuker on Dino island, I still only bring overlord and my 66 kookaburra, and I never run out of mp (my sts is 79 btw).
Between kookaburra and OL, after lvl 55 on kookaburra, you should have all u need in buffs. OL gets combo mbarrier/matk buff at 77.
Idk if you have gotten to lvl 40 yet but I would suggest doing a dagger over an archer. For one thing daggers are less expensive then using a bow all the time. Secondly daggers normally lvl faster. Atm archers are kinda nerfed in regards to pvp but that could change so that really isnt a good reason unless you looking for instant gratification.
If you wear to pick abysswalker over phantom ranger se would be better. If your a PR its debatable which buffer would be best for you. The buffs from a prophet are better overrall but the mp from an se is something nice a prophet cant give you. The noobie guide buffs are good but it lacks some of the most important ones needed by an archer or dagger guidance, deathwhisper, and focus. All buffers offer these 3 except an Overlord(which gets them but not until alot later.)
Don't box. To many players box in this game already. You'll have more fun getting a friend to play and lvling together as a team.Than you will by boxing.
Getting a friend to play with you sounds like the superior advice, but barring that, yes boxing an SE will help. Just keep in mind to keep the SE out of party so it doesn't take XP while you're leveling and just buff you/recharge you.

With the buffs you can take from the newbie buffers in the towns you don't realy need a 2nd account. Like Eamonn said try to find someone that match your level / play hours ect and try to team up. Granted it will not be easy sinse most players are far beyond starter levels allready. Try to join a clan with players from your time zone will help you too.
Even if they outlevel you by far, their experience in the game can help you a lot so you dont have to figure out everything your self.
Anyways newbee buffs and a mp bird will take you atleast to S grade.
If you still like the game by then you might considder to have an 2nd account for a boxed buffer if you haven't found players yet that can team up with you.
