Why are human classes more specialized than those of the other races? Why does each class have its own defined role, while the other races have more utility in their roles? Join the discussion today (http://www.l2rpa.org/node/147)!

How did you come up with your character's name? What is the significance of the name and how you chose it? Join the discussion today (http://www.l2rpa.org/node/145)!
for your first question; because humans are selfish beings
I would say this has more to do with the way Humans were created:

Gran Kain was a god of destruction. When he saw the work of Einhasad, he became curious and jealous. He imitated Einhasad and created a form in his own image ... Shilen gave the spirit of stagnant and rotten water to Gran Kain ... Paagrio ... gave the spirit of dying fire to Gran Kain ... Maphr ... ended up giving the spirit of barren and contaminated earth to her father. Sayha, in his turn, gave his father the spirit of wild and violent wind.

Satisfied, Gran Kain took everything that was given to him and cried, "Look at the living creatures I am making! Look at they who are born with the spirit of water, the spirit of fire, the spirit of earth and the spirit of wind. They will be stronger and wiser than giants! They will rule the world!' ... These creatures are called humans.

Like some children come more after their mother, others after their father, Dreadnoughts with their Earthquake skill have more of Maphr, Sorcerers with their Fire magic have more of Paagrio. But that's always just a glimpse of the true nature of the various gods.

The "pure" races, on the other hand, were not created with leftovers but with the full range of aspects of Shilen, Paagrio etc., i.e. they are more "complete" beings. Elven/Shillien Elders can work both as Buffers and Healers, Dwarves can use both Earthquake and make money by spoiling and crafting, which is something Dreadnoughts can't do. You get my drift? :D
pfft, you can't deny humans are selfish beings :P (yeah i know, i too play a human)

While we'd prefer having people join up with the site, answering here will be okay.

Thank you for the discussion points, everyone! It's great to see what other players think!

I do not deny at all that Humans are selfish beings. Just look at the way how they pumped the Elves for magic tricks during the war against the Orcs. But their selfishness is sort of "in-built", a result of the way how they were created from somewhat unhealthy ingredients. And precisely that in-built limitation drives them towards perfection in their chosen role. A Dreadnought can not hammercrush his opponent should he find a nice axe dropped on the battlefield, but when it comes to pole arm usage, he is far better than his Dwarven colleague.

Hey now, i OE'd my stun attack (blunt skill), it's quite good :D
(It's funny to see a 36 skill change to a 76 skill by just +1, speaking of that i never understood why wildsweep has no OE options)
Ok, i'm getting way too offtopic now :D
