I have a question for Sace or any other GM for that matter.

Is it against the rules to remove obscene-e.dat from your system folder? From what I remember, all this is is the curse word filter in-game. I dislike seeing -_- everywhere I go because it just is annoying to look at, especially if the word (which I don't think is uncensored anymore) is nickelback. or 923. I know it's against the rules to TAMPER with a file, but to be completely honest, unless this file has some hidden use that you aren't telling the players, it seems kind of useless in my mind. If you want your kids to not see curse words, leave it in or don't let them play the game where curse words exist.

Another nice idea.... On paper. The outcome however is quite predictable. The team with the most botted lvl 85's and ebayed epics wins.

The features that came with Gracia part 2 such as color titles are micro-transaction items. NCWest's Lineage II does not yet have this system.

Freya and the Server Merges are closely linked on the technical side, and we are still working on making a plan around which one will happen first.

Battle Tournament will not be recreated by that name, per se, but some of us have been talking about making a similar event (possibly on PTS) after all of the big changes are finished. This is a long-term project and would not happen soon, as there are other priorities currently.

That's all the answers I have to these questions at the moment, other than, mango chutney.

no offense, but not many people like PTS. PTS is supposed to be a place where we test out the new skills, armor etc. yet we start out at lvl 1 and are expected to lvl on up to top lvl just to test out the skills and armor? it seems a little rediculous.

as far as battle tournament. i think this should be a once a year event, like the superbowl of L2. having it on the PTS doesnt really seem all that fun considering the previous BT winners had yellow names for life, so how would they get rewarded on their main chars if they have to do this through PTS?

imho server merges and Freya have absolutely nothing to do w/ each other; you can merges servers w/out launching freya and you can launch freya w/out merging servers. it's just your decision to do both things at once! :(

LINEAGE 2 Superbowl would be AWESOME!! I'd love to have it on every server once a year.. Not PTS. Not everyone gets to watch on PTS..

Colored titles and those items have little to no impact on gameplay. Don't care about them.

Incorrect. Content in Freya is balanced for very large groups of raiders. There will be no NA/EU Servers, except maybe Zergon... err... Teon, that would be able to raid Antharas or Valakas in Freya with current server populations. High level XP groups are being balanced for larger groups with greater class diversity, as well.

Without mergers, much of the content in Freya will be inaccessible even to most end-game players on the NA/EU servers. Getting the update at current population levels is a waste of time. Either they must come together, or one swiftly after the other.

Official site has always been borderline useless.

Translated Korean content, and certain fansites have always done a much better job.

Only thing I care about on the Official Site are the forums and the patch notes.

Most MMORPG games are the same. The Official site quickly becomes the second best place for any type of information that you need to know about the game.

People go to EllieBelly and Bleh for good information. People come here to troll...

The Lavasaurus minions cannot be killed. However you can somewhat control the respawn of the minions. The key is to control the hate value.
If the tank classes deal among the highest hate value to Valakas, the Lavasaurus minions will not respawn.
Also, if Valakas is suffering from close-ranged attacks, Valakas may get a debuff that greatly lower its p.def and m.def.
While if Valakas is suffering from long-ranged attacks, it may get a buff that greatly increase its p.attk but p.def. mildly lowered.
