Looking for a GM or someone to respond, I sent my dyn healer set with mw dyn sigil to my cardinal from my meastro and the mail was received with only the sigil there. No GM has responded, I have checked several of my other mails and I am missing a lot of items I sent to my alts. Mainly I want my Dyn healer robes set back! pls respond and send higher!
Maybe you messed up the spelling?
the sigil that was sent with the robes made it through but the robes werent there, plus both toons are mine i checked the sent and received on both and can see the mail but the only thing that was in it was the sigil, the robes were totally gone. also i checked some of my other mails and am missing some other stuff sent from that character to alts, it shows where i sent the mail, shows theres an attachment, but they appear empty, and i can see it on both the toon i sent it from and the toon i sent it to's mail, but theres nothing in them and no claim option. i always title the messages i send to my alts so i grab the right one when i need it. for example the title of the message i sent from my meastro to my cardi that was missing the robes was "dyn robes and sigil."
I'm not sure if it's directly related to the problem mentioned above, but...
once it happened to me that I could not find an item that I sent from one of my chars to another (having received the mail and claimed the items).
Later I found out it appeared in the very bottom of inventory, so I did not notice it until I clicked the "rearrange inventory" icon.
Also, I heard there's a glitch when you can't see some of your items at all, until you relog and rearrange inventory a few times.
just last night i had an issue with the mail system as well:
from my alt dwarf i had GCP selling. i had 1870 GCP. I started to send them in 500 increments to my main toon hyperlite. the first mail i tried to send had an incorrect spelling of my name, and i tried to send it without noticing it. i got a system message that said something like "when a mail is sent to a character that doesnt exist or has been deleted, the items will be placed back in the senders inventory". well i go to my inventory and there was only 1370 GCP there. So i check my private WH, nothing. Check my sent mail list, the mail isnt there. I /gm the issue, and the first response i received was basically telling me to check again. then this morning i was told that the issue has been escalated.
i dont really care about loosing 500 GCP, but i also mail my epics in between toons as well, and gear that im selling on other accounts. if i accidentally misspelled a name and lost something of worth, i would be pretty upset.
i guess moral of the story, triple check a name before sending, as you might not get the item back even if the person doesnt exist in game. or just go back to physically trading item (which is what i'll do for more expensive items).
Sace, tell NCsoft Korea we want the freight system back along with the mail system. 8 items minimum on mailing mats/base materials after xping is pretty annoying, and with the freight system i never would have lost items in the first place.
A possibility is that it was taken away by some GM, due to it being bought by RMT adena (outside of your knowledge).
I had that happen when 1 day some gear was missing that was giving to me by someone that quit :(

did that several times, also did the alt V thing over and over too. i am also missing other items in other mails to alts, the mails are there but nothings in them
Did you actually send in a support ticket like Sace was asking about ?
Dont just use the in game petition System.
If you have not done so, you need to goto Support & send in a ticket.

best way to be sure of spelling of chars you send stuff to is to get on the char you want to send things to and send an empty message to the toon you want to send stuff from; then you just reply to that message with the things you are sending.
but yea it's kind of scary to send epics or other very valuable things through the mail, esp. when things like this can happen...

That's like the guy on sayha that was trading his zaken over to an alt but he clicked on some random guy and traded it to him, lol.

When sending items always write a message to the mail with the attached items, that way you will always have a copy of them mail on the character from which you are sending, even after the your other character has recieved / taken the sent items.
If you have not found the mail on your "sent" list or a mail on the "recieved" list on the character you sent to, there is a VERY big chance that you accidentally sent your items to a player with a similar name. In that case I am pretty sure that the GMs won't interfere since it would fall under the "Do-not-interfere-in-the-Game-policy".
I tried something a bit similar, but I did get help from a GM. I had leveled an academy alt and sent the items to one of my gear-carriers, and put the character up for deletion. I forgot to log into that character and retrieve items so after 14 days the items disappeared, because they could not be returned to the previous character since it was deleted a week before. I think I was able to get help with my issue because it involved only me and my items.
If you accidentally send your items to another player this player could sell your items, buy new, and the person who bought the robe set could again sell it and buy new stuff for the money, thus setting things in motion that GMs are not supposed to get involved with. This is also why it is so hard/impossible to regain items lost to scammers or friends getting a little too comfortable wearing a loaned MA set.
