Grind, farm, make your subs etc,and when you are ready transfer.
i would also suggest picking a less populated server so that you can xp easier. then transferring when you get proper lvl (81+).
if you dont wanna do that, i would pick teon or the most populated NA server (bartz/devianne? not sure really). but i doubt you find many "live" players till you get 60+
Hi im pretty new to lineage and i would liek to know whats the best server to play on... which one have the most ppl and so on.
thanx
teon
but you want free spot to xp until merge with teon, you can come in luna and grind until 81 and when we merged you will have a good character for futur euro server :)

luna isnt gonna merge with teon lol, teon is one of the healthiest servers NCsoft has on the NA/EU side of things. the EU merge will be Luna + Franz, its pretty obvious

luna+franz=/= 3000 people
teon+luna+franz=3000 people :)
so luna zombie and franz vampire will come in teon and eat teon people :p
depends from where u play... if u play from south america I recommend Phoenix i'll not have lag like if u play in Teon.. if u play from anywhere else play in Teon.
Phoenix has the best market of all the servers, IMO, and seems to have the most active market. They also seem to have a high active playerbase. Teon's market seems rather high, at the moment. Lots of people there are still selling A Grade sets for 100M. Stay away from Teon, IMO. The market is rigged for ebayers, from what I've seen.
I'm thinking about transferring as my one final straw before I quit for good, but the lack of information regarding mergers may not give me any other option than quitting, cause I'm not going to xfer 3-4 toons and end up at square one a week later, sorry.
The lack of communication from NCSoft regarding the upcoming mergers is disgusting, considering how dead/disfunctional some servers/server markets have become and the fact that some people may want to move elsewhere. I guess they'd like us to waste our money, though, as long as it goes to them.
Those people who suggest you to level up to 81 on a dead server, also assume that you will have an army of boxes to drag behind you.
If you don't plan to use boxes, you should pick Teon, as there you can find live people to play with starting from around 60 lvl.
If you don't have too many 2-sided wars, there is no problem with finding xp spots on teon. Also PK is basically non existant.

i dont see what is the difficulty to solo until 81 in luna, silent valley is alway empty the night, you have 3 or 4 good spots in varkas, all the catacombs and necro are empties, you can find alway good spots in dino island
so i think you know all the good place to xp 1 to 76 for mage and figther, after if you are figther go to silent valley, if you are mage go to dino island or iop
and varkas/ketra are good untill 81 or 82
and if he is a melee class den of evil will be heaven for him :)
in luna you can 81 without box :)
and after you wait the merge with teon and franz :p
multiboxing, so more than one account. You drag around a buffer or two and a healer or something on that order. The point is you become your own group. Ugh. Doesn't sound like any fun to me.
I started just over 2 weeks ago. I specifically choose a support class that is always wanted in groups. A bladedancer in my case. Healers and buffers are always wanted in groups. The other edge of the sword though is that those are the classes that some people will box so you won't group with those who already have their own but that is their choice anyway. There are still many people that will group with you and will look for such classes for kamas and such.
I am on Phoenix and I have had no problem finding groups and a clan to run with.
