Update server problem!!!!

cant run Updater...

it gives error

"The COnnection to the update server has been terminated"

Cant login....!!!! :mad:

It says "The Connection to update Server has been disconnected"

I need my vita buff before server maintenance!!!!!!!

Had this yesterday.

this is what I did to fix it:

Press windows start menu, type in cmd in run or Search

Right click and press run as administrator if you are using VISTA or Win7, otherwise just click it.

A console will open

Type in:

ipconfig/flushdns

close the console and start Lineage2

Thanks for help, but still cant open the login windows..it says the same thing..

rename l2.bin to l2.exe and play...

You can also try and click the start button before it fades out when you open it :D

in system/ directory.
if you not see file extensios and use winxp go to tools > folder options, open "view" tab, and uncheck "hide extensions of known file types.

i only saw l2.exe, no l2bin......cant login still...:(

oh. forget to say. if you rename l2.bin => l2.exe start game from l2.exe, not from launcher :)

The file is in the Lineage2/system/ folder, it's there.
its not called L2bin but just L2 with a bin extension in type desc.

Not sure what to do next, I can logg in just fine here in Europe.
What you can try is to temporarily turn of the firewall and the antivirus program, and see if that works.

had same issue yesterday, do an Ip/dns flush...

been having trouble trying to login after char selected screen...taking agood bit longer then normal to enter game world.

Dident say that, FirstEdition said that after he did what zlz said he still got , Cant connect to the updater. And I said he shouldent be getting that if he did what zlz said.
But he edited the post.

I have the same problem, according to others you need to Delete/Uninstall your Lineage 2 client and download it using NCLauncher.

Not really unless you where on a privet server.........


But if u been running L2 from the L2 launcher you cant use it anymore nad have to use the NcSoft launcher
