Overlord leveling options?

Whats the most effective and fastest way to lvl a Overlord?

In party with a destroyer or solo with a greatwolf / fenrir ?
Solo. :)
with fenrir / wolf?
Yes.
You should see the OL I have in my clan.. he solos in Stakato Nest.. where top clans need a 5-man party to xp there. :)
Soulcry + Soulguard = OP
in robe still? or go light nog? =/
I can easily have 1700 pdef in major arcana robes, while having zerk 2 on my OL.
and i wont go out of mp with those 2 on all time? soulguard and soulcry?
You get 10% of your dmg back as mp.

Hit for 1500, get 150 mp back.

As long as you keep attacking you wont run out of mp.
type of wep suggestion? =)
in robe still? or go light nog? =/

Drac Set. :)
u talking sgrades etc but how about the way from B grade upp to S any changes on that path? and will a fenrir do more dmg than me to keep aggro?
B-S grade focus dagger and robes. Constant soulcry and soulguard, light armor is trash when you regen MP from killing.

Make yourself an SE and BD, you won't regret it.

If you got more than one comp or don't mind flicking between screens in window mode between mobs have the BD (and maybe SE) with great wolves assisting you and doing stigma, If another toons has the wolf you won't take the XP hit.

Once you hit 76 you're all set to get a saint spear with 150 holy and go pole in FoG, will become easier and easier as you go on. Only possible problem is what comes up in future chronicles but until then you'll level insanely fast with BD/SE in FoG.

from 61 -> 72(4) Swamp Of Screams
From 72(4) -> ... SV

Easy&fast exp solo.
In SV you have NO any problem to keep agro on you :p

What skill gives me 10% mp back? =/
What skill gives me 10% mp back? =/

Orc Smelly armpits skill. :)

It's a race skill, passive.
What level do i get it? u happen to know name? i cant find it :D
or it dosent matter as long as orc have it =)
Its on your passive weapon mastery, and the skill is written incorrectly. It says returns 10% of damage as HP instead of MP.

With the Wolf/Fenir I wouldn't bother with one as OL personally..... we don't get the buffs that warcryers do, no haste, vr, focus/dw at much higher level and so on, no newbie buffs for it. For the XP reduction of the wolf considering it's damage output with OL buffs and the cost of gear I'd rather save the 100mil in gear for Sgrade and make the same XP solo without having to look after a wolf. Some people just assume OL is the same as WC..... We're NOT!

If you have access to a buffer for focus/dw on top of noob and OL buffs a dagger is great to level with due to soulcry giving us the same p.atk as a TH, maybe even a wolf if someone else can buff it.

True solo using a blunt and spamming stun seems to do well. With noob buffs it does similar damage to a crit off a dagger with SE/BD buffs. Don't even really need noob buffs since you can drain also, then regen MP from normal hits.
Also just to add...

As for a wolf tanking, no way. Wolf has no VR from OL and poor P.def.... OL has brilliant p.def with soul guard and MP isn't an issue anymore since they introduces the MP VR.
So the acctual thing is that u are supposed to get the mp cost of soul cry soul guard and chant of life back by auto attack with the weapon mastery skill, and use a focus dagger?
Ya. But you will be using heart of paagrio, much faster casting.
You shouldn't need chant of life at all... apart from when your tank wolf is dying cos it's got poor p.def, no VR or melee buffs. If you've not got it yet you'll et heart of paagrio later on which is better than ur noobie Chant of life.:p

Dagger is good only with guidance/focus/deathwisper/haste since soulcry gives a fixed p.atk boost so no matter if you have a +100 dragon slayer or no weapon at all you'll still get the same p.atk bonus from soul cry. Daggers have the lowest p.atk but fastest atk speed and critical rate. So with a dagger OL gets the highest dps as long as he's got the right buffs.

You really shouldn't need chant of life at all, any HP you lose solo gain back with steal essence. Ditch the wolf and either make a buffer or get a blunt. You'll be immensely glad for buffers later on in the game, especially SE/BD
But i dont have SE / BD support, is it stupid to solo then? or is it possible? and some of u suggest no fenrir and some suggest with :P
Without support solo is still good with a blunt spamming hammer crush since it does seem to do decent damage.

With a Fenir I just can't see how it would be a viable option for an OL without buffers, maybe if HP herbs transfer to pets and VR herbs, but without that an OL has no means of giving the Fenir the buffs it needs such as VR, Haste (pots maybe, but expensive), Focus and Deathwhisper (till high level) and so on. You'll be healing it a lot and it will take a big chunk of XP compared to the damage it deals.

Hunting herb dropping mobs would also mean you're hunting in fields generally meaning that even if you did kill faster with a wolf theres still lots of room to run from mob to mob and wolf will take XP so you won't get much faster XP than just soloing spamming hammer crush.

With the 120mil for a fenir and 100mil you'd spend on gear I'd save the money for when you need it at 76.

Newb buff wise you'll get haste/VR plus selfbuffs such as zerk..... with those buffs you'll kill fastest using a blunt and spamming hammercrush and drain when you need for HP. Regular hits inbetween will regen your mana for you. You can't get noob buffs for a wolf.
IMO the fastest ways to level an OL:

Behind a Poler > Behind a Nuker > Behind an Archer/DD > Solo with Wolf > Solo with Buff Pet > Purely Solo

SE + BD = Lol.

Replace the BD with an SH and you've got yourself a Winner, IMO - assuming you're not going to do it behind a Destroyer.

If you're using a Destroyer then you can replace the SE with a War Cryer and do well.
haha so many dirrent answears:D

well ive decided to go solo with no wolf and level at spots with herbs.

i dont have the buffs i need for sure, they come from herbs so shall i still use a dagger? or is herbs to unreliable?

Cheers
Depends what level

75-78/79 Solo in SV(becuase pre 78 u wont even get a party or maybe charity)

79-82 FOG party duo or trio

83+ FOG solo or towers

Pre 76 i have no idea my memory doesnt go back that far.

What it basically means an OL is a bish too level...and u will solo alot at low levels. Once u hit 83 people gonna beg ya too be in party...I so love it><...i must admit

Lol at SE/BD all you want mate, but check my ding thread in the orc forums..... that poor SE/BD had me making about 2%/hr at 79, 1.8%/hr at 80, 1.5 at 81 and 1%/hr at 82.

That LOL SE and BD have helped me level all my subclasses since they're excellent support for almost any class in the game.

That LOL SE and BD gives me clarity, mana gain, resist shock, heal and recharge during sieges when no live palyer can.

That LOL SE and BD lets OL level faster than SH/SE/OL in catacombs with a dagger since it gives the highest melee dps for an orc and SE can stigma, plus the $$$$ made in seal stones. 76+ that LOL SE and BD becomes insanely valuable.

As for SH, I've been playing OL as sole main for 5 years. I've got a 76 necro sub, a 72 SH and the BD has a 76 STS sub. SH needs all toons out of party to make the same XP a melee OL with BD/SE can make and that was before stigma.
Solo with herb and self buffs,
dagger + shield?
1h blunt + shield?
2h blunt?

i didnt quite understand, ive thinking with the right buffs use dagger ohtherwise 1h blunt, so what i wonder are herbs enough buffs for dagger?

Im about to start and give it a try =)
I'm using blunt (Metor + Focus afeter my BH ) + shield
For cast BoMT (to max M attack ) to increase chance of root/silence etc.

But is just me.

P.S. why cast?
In SoS when I aggro to many mobs root was very usefull
I'm using sometimes Silence in SV to not get that curse :D
To make the most of a dagger you'd need at least focus / deathwhisper, which you won't get till 7x (dunno exact level I was 79 before it was implemented). Possibly even BD dances also.

I'd go with maybe 1h blunt for faster cast on stun and just keep spamming stun on stuff, although you're restricted by re-use delay you'll get more hits in inbetween stuns and regain MP from that. We get a shield block buff too so shield is reasonable for OL to have.

I wouldn't worry too much about casting unless your hunt techniques require you to root/sleep etc.... imo every bit of your time and setup should be geared to causing maximum damage with minimal downtime.
Thanks alot everyone for all thease usefull info, ill go start leveling

2% of 79 is something like 40M XP/Hour or something, underestimating the length of the level at 2B XP. I'll believe that when I see it. Maybe you always had Vitality 4 or something? Not sure. I just know there is no way you were making that kind of XP in an hour with an SE and BD in party, if you were leveling in a Catacomb (which you seem to insinuate). Actually, I'm not sure where in the game you could make that king of XP, unless you were 3 boxing Tully's or something with that setup.

SE/BD is decent, if you don't mind spending loads of AA/Adena on GSAPs. At 80/81 I don't think most people level in Catacombs. That's just the trend I've seen.

I can XP an OL at Lost Nest and net more XP/Hour than in a Catacomb at 79+., AoEing.

That LOL SE and BD have helped me level all my subclasses since they're excellent support for almost any class in the game.
One of your subs is a Nuker, so that's a given. A WC/PP and BD is better than SE/BD for an Archer, since Archers don't benefit from Stigma of Shillen. Stigma wouldn't be all that clutch for a pole class either, unless you seriously try to stigma each MOB (Warlords have their own AoE debuff). Depends on the class you play. Certain buffer combos are more optimal. I prefer not to spend AA on GSAPs/GMHP to level my toons. Just seems like a waste to me.

That LOL SE and BD gives me clarity, mana gain, resist shock, heal and recharge during sieges when no live palyer can.
You can't call yourself seiging if you can't get Heals/Recharges, Clarity, and Resist Shock from a live player... Unless you mean they were dead? That sounds more like Fame Farming.

That LOL SE and BD lets OL level faster than SH/SE/OL in catacombs with a dagger since it gives the highest melee dps for an orc and SE can stigma, plus the $$$$ made in seal stones. 76+ that LOL SE and BD becomes insanely valuable.
An SH will outlevel an Overlord in a Catacomb. It has a higher kill speed and if you're not re tarded and use toggle to recharge (with a conversion weapon, Majestic Robes, Sigil, and optionally a Kookaburra) you have 0 MP problems.

An SH with a 150 Wind Mace will 3-4 shot MOBs in Catas like Forbidden Path (at the back, at 76+ with Arcana Set). I can level non-stop on my Necro with 1 Recharger and a PP in that Catacomb, and 75% of the MOBs are Dark Resist. Friend does it on his Storm Screamer with no Prophecy. It's trivial. Unless you poled catas on your Overlord (which IS possible).

Since the SH has a faster killspeed, it will generate more seal stones than a melee Overlord.

With an OL and SE you won't need to waste any AA on GSAPs, so your net profit will actually be higher given the current AA market on most servers.

The highest melee DPS for an Orc is still not higher DPS than a Nuker with a 150 Mace at 76+. As long as the nuker doesn't run out of MP (which can be avoided, easily), the Orc will not outlevel the nuker in that camp.

As for SH, I've been playing OL as sole main for 5 years. I've got a 76 necro sub, a 72 SH and the BD has a 76 STS sub. SH needs all toons out of party to make the same XP a melee OL with BD/SE can make and that was before stigma.
I don't think I've told you to reroll to SH. I was talking to the OP, since he asked about it. I leveled my Dominator behind a nuker. It's fast. I leveled another OL for my roomate to box with his ES - behind a nuker. Again, fast. I have an alt necro that I use to PL all my alts/subs with.

At 79+ Nukers can make Decent XP in Catas and in Lost Nest. In fact, I'm pretty sure leveling behind a nuker in Lost Nest will give a higher XP/Hour than in a Catacomb, because the MOBs die and respawn so fast, and give a decent XP/kill. Even a Necro can AoE those.

74-77 is a rough spot for nukers. NCSoft destroyed a few decent places to level (Like Giant's Cave, Silent Valley), but if you have decent gear on an S Grade nuker there are plenty of #x HP MOB areas you can XP on easily.

My 76 Mystic Muse sub can keep a fairly large camp clean with PP/Prophecy SE in Antharas Lair with no downtime, for example.

I was just gonna quote a small bit of your post, but I thought I'd respond to it individually, you seem very confused.

I made roughly 1.4%/hr AOE with SE/BD at 81 with 0 vit, that equates to roughly 36-40 mil XP/hr, over 4%/hr with vit buff. I DON'T level in catacombs and haven't since something like C5! I'm giving advice to a new OL, a guy at low levels needing a spot to level melee.

You ever played an archer?

PP maybe, but WC is a pain in the ..... since you need to keep inviting/dropping from pty and they can't heal OOP. They need MP to fire arrows you know, levelling properly you camp a spot and only pick up every 5-6 minutes, not all spots drop mana herbs either and kooka takes XP, SE can recharge, PP can't. The only advantage of a PP is crit dmg from PoF and haste.... you can get haste from a pot and PP is useless for any other class since no VR or empower. Pre-81 (IE as a sub) if you're gonna take an archer in a decent party or hunt without herbs/kooka then you'll find recharge hella nice to have!

You can't call yourself seiging if you can't get Heals/Recharges, Clarity, and Resist Shock from a live player... Unless you mean they were dead? That sounds more like Fame Farming.

As a Dominator for 5 years I know pretty **** well that its not easy to get a dedicated live recharger for yourself, plus OLs can simply never have enough rechargers. Even back when sieges were 200 v 200 every weekend it's hard to find a live recharger, everyone wants to play a healer (and heal, not be stuck just recharging an OL) or their DDs for siege. You've either got a really good clan or don't siege often.

OOP BD/SE OL can hold 2-3 rooms with a dagger, SH may kill faster but doesn't have infinite mana so will need rests and one important thing..... you can't level faster than the re-spawn allows you to! unless you find a perfect spot and can cycle 4 rooms without other people in there.

The cost of GSAP is irrelevant, 120k an hour is made back in adena drops alone. One more thing also.... not to mention that fact that pre-76 you can just keep going to town for the newbie haste, an SH would have to do the same with acumen unless they were using gmhp.

I'm helping a low lvl OL with advice, pre-76 nuker would suck in a cata, you'd have to either need to farm seal stones or be an idiot to lvl a nuker in a cata when theres so many more less mana draining and better XP spots out there!

The highest melee DPS for an Orc is still not higher DPS than a Nuker with a 150 Mace at 76+. As long as the nuker doesn't run out of MP (which can be avoided, easily), the Orc will not outlevel the nuker in that camp.

Ok, so OL levelling themselves

40-50 OOP SE/BD swamp tribes, OL with dagger 10 hours-12 including loads of deaths.... you work out the XP.

53-61 OOP SE/BD Enchanted valley, OL with dagger - a week orso, maybe 40 hours?

61-7x OOP SE/BD Swamp of screams, OL with dagger - 300k SP/hr I guess 3mil XP/hr.

76+ OOP SE/BD FoG, Domi with pole, 2.5-3.7 mil SP/hr so 28-40mil XP/hr.

Nuker Levelling solo.

40-50 OOP SE/BD Oren on basilisks, AI too hard since squishy nuker, A couple of days, 15+ hours. Slower than OL.

53-61 OOP SE/BD FP or Cemetary, 40 orso hours, same as OL.

61-7x OOP SE/BD VoS then FOTD 200-250k SP/hour slower than OL (actually same as lvl 40 melee lvling in Ali island!)

76+ OOP SE/BD varka? Can't do AOE easily without live healer and pullers, makes around 4-500k sp/hr with 150 mace in varka while domi making nearly 10x that in FoG, can even have BD/SE in pty and make more XP than a nuker.

When you throw an OL in party with the nuker then you XP just went down 40% so you're levelling a heck of a lot slower! Levelling toons in party with you nuker would have 4 in pty making the XP less than OL/SE/BD in party... infact a lot less since BD can do damage and SE can stigma if you have multiple computers or can switch screens fast enough, not hard to make /assist /use stigma macros.

My 76 Mystic Muse sub can keep a fairly large camp clean with PP/Prophecy SE in Antharas Lair with no downtime, for example.

I was more saying how I've levelled a few nukers and tried just about every way of levelling a Domi possible so I know how much XP both nukers and OL can make. A player can level much faster with OL/BD/SE than with OL/BD/SE/SH and you only need to 3 box.

Of course if we're talking about someone spending time and money investing in 4 accounts to powerlevel themselves an OL (plus subs) as a main, from scratch or otherwise then any intelligent person would make OL/SE/BD/Destroyer and pole their way to 78/78/78 in the same amount of time as an SH could level the same toons to 78 first time round (going off getting all toons to 78 then 78 titan with OOP support with OL's 59 sub leeching 50-30% an hour all the way to 7x).

You clearly haven't spent much time learning the game or trying different setups out, I've spent lots of time trying to find the optimal XP as dominator and leeching off a nuker sadly just isn't all its cracked up to be!
You have to invite a PP for zerk, so I don't see what the issue is with inviting a War Cryer to party is, compared to a Prophet.

Prophet is slightly better than War Cryer for Archers, since you get Zerk and resists, and Archers don't need Vampiric Rage.

An Archer shouldn't need many heals, unless you are leveling in a dungeon-type area.

I have a Saggi. Look at my signature. For classes that need VR you'd obviously use a War Cryer. I've already said that different setups work for different classes. I have PP and SE, and Domi (and a BD Sub to box, Nukers only really need a 52 BD, for the most part), so I don't have any issues picking the buffer that is most efficient for the class I'm playing.

Nuker Levelling solo.

40-50 OOP SE/BD Oren on basilisks, AI too hard since squishy nuker, A couple of days, 15+ hours. Slower than OL.
Lie. Nuker can 1 shot everything on AI, with an OE'd C Grade weapon (like a +8 Homu).

53-61 OOP SE/BD FP or Cemetary, 40 orso hours, same as OL.
Inorrect. I did 40-62 in 3 days on my Mystic Muse, and that wasn't even close to 40 hours. Maybe 30 hours total. That was before the Vitality system was put in game. I did it with an SE and no BD, Demon Set and a +8 Homu. AI was all 1 shots. Cemetary you can overhit half the MOBs there. Those levels are easy. 40 hours would mean you have no clue what you're doing.

I'd prolly be 8-10 levels ahead of an OL at that pace, and still going strong. I would hit 75 when the OL hit 70~ish at that pace, if both toons kept all the support in party. I can kill 2-3 field MOBs in the time it takes an OL to kill one catacomb MOB in those level ranges. Catas aren't all that much better than fields, if you take killspeed into account.

Had an OL clannie that was poling catacombs. I can clear rooms faster than he could on my Mystic Muse with a 150 water mace. There are no MP problems.

61-7x OOP SE/BD VoS then FOTD 200-250k SP/hour slower than OL (actually same as lvl 40 melee lvling in Ali island!)

Those are easy levels. Just overhit stuff. You should have no downtime. Your leveling speed can be as depending on what spot you pick to XP in than where you XP. Especially in VoS and FoTD. Some spots make you run WAY more than others (i.e. kill less MOBs).

A Nuker shouldn't have any issues outleveling an OL in this level range, at all. The only time it can lag a little is in the 74-77 range, but by then the nuker will usually be several levels over the OL, anyways, if both of them have consistently comparable playtimes (leaving 76-77 as a time for the nuker to acquire upgraded gear). Once the nuker gears up its leveling speed goes back up a gain. Nukers suck a bit at 8x, but I'm assuming an active player will have a group to level in by then.

As far as the Catacomb comment. S Grade Storm Screamers with 150 Maces aren't Pre-76, last I checked. Once you get to 76/77 and can wear Arcana/Arcana Mace, Catas as easymode.

Most SH will just CDL Hot Springs to 78, though. At 78 you should have at least some type of Prophecy, and Divine Wisdom/Lore/+6 Clarity on SE, so you can avoid MP problems if you're not dumb and put a Majestic Set/Sigil/Conversion weapon on the SE. If you have a Kook, it should also go on the Recharger (can get into combat in a catacomb with no reprocussions by using Stigma of Shillen... cata mobs are largely passive towards Stigma and it has a negligible MP Cost).

At 79+ there are a number of places to XP, or you can group in FoG (hopefully in a group of 6 or less).

Varka is terrible, but a Nuker can make ~350 SP in a buffround in Varka/Ketra with decent gear at a decent spot - more if it OOPs some support. I don't know what the hell you're talking about, with this 500k an hour business, Lol (that's like 4.6M XP/Hour, seriously...). Can make almost twice that leveling in Blazing Swamp. At 76 an SH should be CDLing Hot Springs, not wasting its time in Varka 3-5 shotting MOBs and having to kill a bunch of 1x HP trash to get to stuff that gives decent XP.

With a Nuker/OL/SE, you can get them to 75 faster, then Sub the Nuker into a BD. You don't need an insanely high level BD to XP in a cata on an OL. Since the OL does pick up nicely where nukers start to stagnate (in the 74-77 range), that would actually be a faster way to level, instead of going melee from the start. That is, if the emphasis is on leveling the OL and you don't mind leaving the nuker at a low level, of course.

If you do end up getting the BD to 80, you can always sub-main change it, if you want.

Fixed and yes Smittie think's i'm a failure cuz, I solo mine with a pole,a dagger & shield, a 1 handed sword & shield, a 2 handed sword, robes, light, heavy, & I've messed with a bow on mine and I refuse to play his way. I also won't box mine like tons do.

Use the Destro to pole in cata and power lvl your Overlord. That is the most logical idea maybe, cuz everyone will tell you to box a toon in this game. Overlord being a support class i'll say just box it like everyone else and then you'll be in the cool player group.

I didn't mention heals, I said recharge. If you've got a saggi you'll know that firing arrows takes MP, so in spots where mana herbs don't drop or in a party somewhere like pagans for IT then you'll need recharges. SE is a much better general buffer than PP/WC, every class can use SE in some way even if it misses haste, WC/PP are useful only for certain classes and lack heals/recharge/purify etc.

Lie. Nuker can 1 shot everything on AI, with an OE'd C Grade weapon (like a +8 Homu).

Strange I did my necro sub from 44-50 there, +8 homu and demon robes, only 1-shot was the 1x hp alligators. Best XP in AI is the swamp tribes and necro needed karmian and a load of luck/deaths to survive there with a high level OOP healer, can't see how a sps can do it with no leech nuke? Melee do better than nukers generally on AI.

I managed 40-62 in 2 days on SH but that was with bday buff so in reality was 40 hours just SE OOP. AI was definately still not 1 shot and I levelled in the right spots with the right buffs. Demon, +6 staff, 76 SE.

Had an OL clannie that was poling catacombs. I can clear rooms faster than he could on my Mystic Muse with a 150 water mace. There are no MP problems.

if the OL was lvl 76 with SE/BD and a 150 saint spear (guidance best imo) he could make XP that'd make your eyes water in FoG. Poling catas isn't too clever at that level unless farming stones.

Well since I was on my WC sub today in SoS taking a whole high respawn camp with OOP SE/BD I can tell you that I was making more XP/hr than I did on HE, SH, or Necro in the top spots in VoS, FOTD rock or the bat lords/top of BS. Then I got bored and went to FoG and made a level every 2 hours in a 2 man pole pty.

You're missing the point, the OP is not 76 and not a stormscreamer, he's OL. 76+ OL with 2 boxes can make far better XP poling than a 76+ SH with 2 boxes.

All levels from 40-85 an OL will make better faster XP with a boxed BD/SE than they would leeching from a SH with boxed BD/SE. You'd get 40-76 faster on an OL than you would leeching OL off a nuker easily with just those 2 boxes.

I'm glad you enjoy your boxed OL buffpet, but OL is so much more than just a buffpet and has so much more potential and options now. Especially with the new weak to melee mobs and MP VR. Back in the day SH might've been the one to plvl, but now OL can hold it's own in the levelling stakes.
I didn't mention heals, I said recharge. A Pagans/IT group without a Recharger?

Archers level up primarily in fields pre-S Grade, and you're probably better off just killing at Hot Springs/Varka than bothering with IT/Pagans if you can't even find a Recharger...

Strange I did my necro sub from 44-50 there, +8 homu and demon robes, only 1-shot was the 1x hp alligators. Solar Spark, Solar Flare. Spellhowlers have the Dark Attribute Equivalents.

When you overhit 80% of the MOBs, you tend to level a lot faster than a Necro.

I've leveled 2 SPS and 2 Necros through those levels. With a Recharger, an SPS (and SH) will leave a Necro in the dust. You just have to have a bit of a clue and live with the fact that you'll have to skip those [useless] skills in the process. By the time I got to 76, I had enough SP to get all my skills, anyways.

I managed 40-62 in 2 days on SH but that was with bday buff so in reality was 40 hours just SE OOP. AI was definately still not 1 shot and I levelled in the right spots with the right buffs. Demon, +6 staff, 76 SE.

Obviously, you didn't do it right. Read above. You can overhit 80% of the MOBs you kill from 40 to 6x on an SH or SPS by alternating overhits. Actually, alternating overhits actually costs LESS MP than using more Hurricanes, because the D Grade nuke is very cheap, but still has the power of a high 4x nuke.

if the OL was lvl 76 with SE/BD and a 150 saint spear (guidance best imo) he could make XP that'd make your eyes water in FoG. Poling catas isn't too clever at that level unless farming stones.

So could a 76 Warlord leveling the OL with an SE buffer and some GMHP. There are faster ways to level than with an OL poling, and I've already said Nukers slow down in the 74-77 level range, because XP progresses much better in dungeons than in fields, and there aren't as many dungeons which are conducive to nukers XPing in them, nor are there any decent places in that level range where a Nuker can AoE level - solo.

Yep, and I just finished leveling an ES there, which with PoWind could 3-4 melee shot the MOBs there with Merrow. A Nuker can level just as fast in VoS or FoTD. The camps in SoS respawn fast, but there actually aren't all that many mobs in them (NCSoft is increasing the number of MOBs there in an update, I wonder why?). The XP isn't that great, either. A Nuker in FoTD or VoS (even BS) is always killing a MOB, unless you pick the most ******ed places there to level, and they all die in 2 shots or less.

You're missing the point, the OP is not 76 and not a stormscreamer, he's OL. 76+ OL with 2 boxes can make far better XP poling than a 76+ SH with 2 boxes.

I'm not missing the point. People should always look forward when deciding which classes to roll, which buffers to roll, etc. etc. If he is low level, he still has that choice. (he or she)

I didn't say you missed the point when you said the SE/BD was better for all subclasses. I simply gave a decent reason why it's not always so. This sounds pretty straw-man to me.

An OL will not get to 75 faster with a BD and SE than a Nuker can get it there with an OL and SE. If you want I can always sub SH on my SE, SE on my Necro, and level another OL to 40 and we can race to 75 :P I guarantee you I will get there faster than you starting your trio at 40. If you don't, but anyone else does... Log onto Bartz and PM me. It will at least give me a decent reason to keep playing :P

The only time an OL will outlevel the nuker is in S Grade because Soul Guard/Cry + MP VR is overpowered, and the dungeon leveling spots favors classes who can AoE with 150 poles more than mage classes. Mages can AoE decently in Nest, though. They just need to get through some levels to be able to do it.

You're talking about an OL leaching off a Nuker, when you know **** well the BD and SE will have to leach off the OL. Toons don't level themselves, unless you bot them.
Lol you say I don't know jack but you don't even seem to know anything about melee XP or poling and totally exaggerate the XP a nuker can make. You don't seem to accept that I've levelled a couple of nukers with both in pty and oop buffers all the way to 76 in the best spots, so I know exactly how much XP they make. I also know how much an OL can make.

A new guy has made an OL, he wants to know how best to level it. The best way is NOT leeching off a nuker since OL can make more XP solo than they can in grp with a nuker.

Why on earth would anyone want to make a WL to leech an OL off at 76+ when the OL will be able to pole on their own for more XP/hr than with a WL in pty?

I dunno where u were hunting in SoS but I was in one of those pool things this morning as a 66 WC and mobs were 2-4 shots depending on crits and were completely constant, more mobs than I needed within fery close range. Mobs went down faster than a nuker would be able to make 2 nukes in anyway.

I'd go back and double check, but it won't be the same now, my WC sub that was 66 and 8% this morning is now 69 and 50% and I've only played about 9 hours today... but hey I don't have a clue how to XP, lol.

You know, a nuker would lvl 3x faster leeching off a Domi with a pole and OOP SE/BD than they would lvling on their own without a full mage party. I've got a siren BD, 80 SE, 6x kooka and a 150 dark mace, my Soultaker still levels faster leeching in off a poler than he can on his own, with those buffs! Plus that's a duo leeching off a poler who can't clear as many rooms as my Domi in the same gear/buffs, lol!

BTW I love how u edited/deleted your post saying that the AI mobs are one shot because they're 2x HP and they take 2 shots, LOL.
Lol you say I don't know jack but you don't even seem to know anything about melee XP or poling and totally exaggerate the XP a nuker can make. I also know how much an OL can make.
Where did I say you don't know jack?

A Necro levels on par with a Sorc on the way to 76, but slightly slower. An SPS and SH levels faster - If you know what you're doing, much faster - than a Necro. If it took you 30+ hours to do C to A Grade on an SH with an SE (with a birthday buff... lol seriously?), then no... You had no clue what you were doing - on that toon. I didn't say you were in a bad spot, you just obviously didn't do it right from an efficiency or optimal XP standpoint (since what I did speeds up leveling AND saves MP). You prolly just spammed Hurricane the entire time, because that's the easiest way to do it, right?

That is understandable.

A new guy has made an OL, he wants to know how best to level it. The best way is NOT leeching off a nuker since OL can make more XP solo than they can in grp with a nuker.
An SE or EE can probably say "I can level as fast to 76 as with a nuker." Having (even recently) done two overlords I know for a fact it cannot melee up faster than it can leach with a nuker played by someone who knows what they're doing. Especially when they have just as many toons leaching off of them.

Why on earth would anyone want to make a WL to leech an OL off at 76+ when the OL will be able to pole on their own for more XP/hr than with a WL in pty?
By the time the OP gets to the levels where being able to pole matters. Attribute Resist will be Nerfed, Attribute P.Atk will be nerfed, and OLs will be close to becoming literally useless as a poler. I doubt he will even make it to 81 with a pole before it gets nerfed.

However if you start off with an OL/SE/WL and use GSAP, you will level fast and when the nerfs come through your leveling methods will remain viable. That will not be the case for Overlord Poling. A WL with good gear can also pole places an OL with a pole cannot, so whether or not you make more XP depends solely on where you do it and how you gear your character up. WLs hit like 3x the amount of MOBs an OL can, so they have an obvious killspeed advantage.

However, having never poled on both those classes, I cannot really vouch for how large the XP gain disparity is between them, whichever way it may be. I'm starting to get confused if you're talking about leveling with your support in party or out of party right now, though...

I knew a WC who poled Boss Rooms in IT (if you're referring to those with the large groups of mobs, I usually do bugs there), and he let me leach a few times. I doubt he was making 40M XP an hour doing that, because I could actively level faster than he could level me with constant pools at chromatic entrance back then (this was before they implemented the level disparity dmg penalties - but I'm back to 2 shotting there now). WCs pole just as well as Overlords. It's not like Soul Guard matters that much, when you don't even come close to dying on the DC to begin with (stacking Dark Resist/Resist Buffs).

In the nests. Those are called nests, at least they were before it was all changed. 2-4 shots depending on crits is not constant. If my pony crit twice the MOBs would die. It crits for over 3k damage on those MOBs, and could almost 2 shot a group of them with its AoE despite their M.Def (pony with almost 4k P.Atk).

The XP in SoS isn't better than FoTD and in a good camp in FoTD a nuker can kill easily as fast. If you do kill fast enough in those nests, you do have to wait for respawns.

My ES just dinged 75 there like a week ago. Even my 60 Warlock runs into Respawn issues in those nests.

An SH can 1 shot mobs in VoS at that level with CDL easily. My second Overlord is almost 66 right now. I know from experience (using a boxed Warlock, Prophecy SE - which is as good if not better than having BD dances) that it can't outlevel a nuker in those nests, because I tried that as well as it leaching off a Necro CDLing VoS.

I'd go back and double check, but it won't be the same now, my WC sub that was 66 and 8% this morning is now 69 and 50% and I've only played about 9 hours today... but hey I don't have a clue how to XP, lol.
Huh? Quote me where I said you have no clue how to XP. My comments about you "doing it wrong" were targetted - chiefly and obviously - at your comments about it taking unreasonably long to level up a Spellhowler from C to A Grade. Please, don't play the victim card. I can care less how fast you level your WC sub. I can level it just as fast 1 shotting mobs with my alt Necro in VoS.

You said an OL could solo faster than a nuker from 40-75 with a BD an SE than the nuker with the OL and SE - in party.

You keep swaying back and forwards. Read your own posts (which I quoted without changes) and stop trying to change what's said. I've always said that Nukers are SoL in those early S Grade levels, for obvious reasons that I've obviously given in my earlier replies to you in this thread.

Necros are worse than any other nuker leveling through S Grade, except when they get 83+ and can plow very large groups of MOBs safely. That's why so many people have quit their Necros. They suck - my unpopular opinion. I use a lowbie one for PLing alts/subs because their MP Cost is cheap and I can't stand Dark Elf casting speed - personally (though it's better if you have wards and/or your own prophecy buffer). Why I think they suck has been documented ad nauseum (literally, some would say :P ).

BTW I love how u edited/deleted your post saying that the AI mobs are one shot because they're 2x HP and they take 2 shots, LOL.
I proofread my posts by submitting them and then editing them. It's easier than trying to read them with all the markup in them, especially when replying to rather long posts.

Nothing to LOL at.

Most people who read these forums often know that I do this. Just gonna have to deal with it, like they have.

Many posts of mine have changed after people quote them. Usually if you quote I'll add it back in just for the sake of preserving thread usability.

I edited this post 11 times. I kept track, just for you :)

I now have a lvl 80 dominator and a 76 dominator. What did you have now?

6x overlord? In common gear?

Stop trying. Seriously.
My second OL just outleveled Eamonn about 50 minutes ago...
Gratz on lvl 62.
Lol it's a bit higher than that. I guess I may be giving Eamonn more credit than he's due!
Where did I say you don't know jack?

Actually if u read what I said it was 20 hours inc 10 on bday buff so 40 hours with 0 vit. Plus I'm always looking for optimal XP, Overhit, lower nukes, MP saving etc

However, having never poled on both those classes, I cannot really vouch for how large the XP gain disparity is between them, whichever way it may be. I'm starting to get confused if you're talking about leveling with your support in party or out of party right now, though...

You see I wouldn't argue about the levelling speed of pre-76 nukers if I didn't know about it. I do however have lots of experience with pre-76 nukers, Dominators/OLs and Titans. a lvl 78 Titan takes more damage, cant beat respawn on as many rooms and relies on more buffs than a lvl 80 Dominator does to pole in FoG. soul guard DOES matter, it matters immensley! Until 81 and about 40% I had 0 resists on my IC set and was poling fine due to OLs high m.def and p.def, constant piles of mobs and buff on the fly with 20-30 mobs on me still just fine.

Long story short Considering WL and Titan are pretty similar Domi can make more XP poling solo than leeching off either of those classes and would need less buffers and resists due to naturally high m.def and soulguard. And YES Domi can make 2% (40mil XP/hr) easily in FoG (however you work out the mil/hr I dunno, only way I can tell is with SP). Even if a Titan/WL can hit more mobs, they can't handle as many so need constant smally pulls rather than DOmi who you just keep training and for every mob that dies theres a new one in place.

Please don't argue against me about what XP an OL can make when I know pretty **** well since I've spent the past 5 years of L2 doing it! 3 nukers is enough to know what kinda of XP they can make at 40-76 also.

Post nukers 76 with 150 weapons all I've really done is varka since I've only just got my mace to 150 and my friend needed help with badges. OOP Siren/PoW and mobs went down not much faster than my Domi can take them down with a dagger.

Gratz on the ES, strange though how my WC didn't have a single re-spawn issue and if the XP graphs from L2wh are accurate was making the same XP/hr as my 74 necro, 74 sh, 74 he were all making in FOTD/BS, 20% a day at 74 (4milxp/hr?), and I'm talking places with constant spawn and no downtime. Maybe you need to find a better nest like the one I was in?

An SH can 1 shot mobs in VoS at that level with CDL easily. My second Overlord is almost 66 right now. I know from experience (using a boxed Warlock, Prophecy SE - which is as good if not better than having BD dances) that it can't outlevel a nuker in those nests, because I tried that as well as it leaching off a Necro CDLing VoS.

What weapon were u using, fists?

You keep swaying back and forwards. Read your own posts (which I quoted without changes) and stop trying to change what's said. I've always said that Nukers are SoL in those early S Grade levels, for obvious reasons that I've obviously given in my earlier replies to you in this thread.

I haven't changed anything I've said. The OP is asking the best way to level an OL. With SE/BD in pty or out of pty the OL will level faster with just those 3 toons than he will leeching off a nuker, even if the nuker does make marginally more XP/Hr it won't be near enough to cover the 30% XP loss for being in a party with the OL!

Fact of the matter is we've both levelled Nukers and have differing opinions on their levelling speeds. I've spent tons of time levelling a Dominator as a main so I know exactly what XP they can make, you seem to have a couple of boxed buffpet OLs and haven't spent much time trying to optimise XP for them (or possibly learn the class) so are argueing against me blindly and whatever I say you won't accept OL can level faster on their own than leeching off a nuker.

I used to think nuker was fastest lvling for OL also.... why do you think I've done 2 SH's?! It's all lies!
By the time the OP gets to the levels where being able to pole matters. Attribute Resist will be Nerfed, Attribute P.Atk will be nerfed, and OLs will be close to becoming literally useless as a poler. I doubt he will even make it to 81 with a pole before it gets nerfed.

Quite possibly, but OL doesn't need resists for FoG, I did fine without. Element damage in PvE is unclear if it's nerfed or not, the only damage nerf I've heard of is PvP (I know you read ellybellie also but I'm yet to see talk of PvE nerf damage wise). The big nerf that I'd worry about for OL poling is in HF with the reduction in targets from 5-3, but you can still hit 5 with an SA on pole so it's not so bad, I didn't have SA on my pole for aaages.

Explained in my previous post.
Quote from you -

You're talking about an OL leaching off a Nuker, when you know **** well the BD and SE will have to leach off the OL. Toons don't level themselves, unless you bot them.
/////

Maybe the word filter is confusing you.

**** = d a m n

As in, you're using vague/inconsistent sentence structures, and it's becomming confusing. One paragraph you're talking about the BD/SE being in party, the next you're speaking as if they're OOP (I've mentioned this more than once in our exchanges).

The OL will be leaching the SE/BD, just like the Nuker will be leaching the OL/SE. The issue is not whether the OL is getting less XP because the nuker is partying it (cause the OL/SE/BD will have to level all 3 of those toons as well - in party). It's a question of whether or not the OL can outXP the nuker as the primary DD in that trio.

The BD and SE won't level themselves, unless the OP bots them. Hope that clears up that statement...

----------

And it can't. Not at those levels. A WC/OL cannot outlevel a nuker pre-S Grade.

And as far as looking for efficient XP, it's not hard.

You do Hurricane-Shadow Flare on one mob, then Hurricane-Shadow Spark on the next, you overhit everything and spend less MP (do the math) until you get CDL in which case you can 1 shot from 52 to 75 if you want.

However, you can continue to throw your numbers out, which seem to insinuate that a 6x WC in SoS can outXP an 80 nuker 2 shotting mobs at Chromatic Entrance. 4M/hr for a solo nuker in FoTD? ... ... ...

----------

If you aren't killing the MOBs in Swamp of Screams fast enough, you won't have respawn issues. It's like that in any XP spot.

One day I went from nest to nest tryin to find one with enough MOBs, so I didn't have to deal with any "dead time." One benefit of that spot is that they often spawn in groups, though, but they are quickly killed.

----------

Telling me how much XP you got in a day on your nuker doesn't really tell me anything. When I was leveling my Necro in FoTD I could get over 30% of a low 7x level in one day. One day for you may not be anything near what a day is for me. My SPS leveled faster than the Necro. 40 literal hours is still about 30% longer than it took me to do those same levels, so either you were spamming hurricane and didn't know you could overhit everything for less MP, or you did something else wrong. Saying you did something wrong doesn't equate to you sucking. You just didn't do it in the most effective way possible.

-----------

I used a focus dagger (response to your weapon question) if you were talking about when I tried the OL there. Focus Dagger with Tallum Heavy.

Mains, alts, and subs all have to level. I don't think you're leveling an OL as a main has anything to do with it. It has about as much as me leveling 3 nukers to 76+ and another to 7x. Not much. Fact of the matter is that the BD and SE won't level themselves, and a Nuker will level the trio faster than an OL or WC. If you don't believe me, you can either try it yourself and take me up on the offer I made up-thread.

------------

I only glanced, because I didn't sleep last night (backwards schedule). If I misread or missed something and notice when I wake up, I'll edit this. Too tired to post my usual comprehensive reply.

EDIT: NM, seems it became comprehensive anyways...

Getting tired of the big replies too, lol.

In party or out of party, a guy levelling an OL would have one more toon in group if he was leeching off an SH so the faster leveling of a solo nuker wouldn't help level an OL as they could level faster solo. I was assuming leeching off an SH would have the same SE/BD buffers. Even levelling hiw own toons from scratch OL/BD/SE has 2 decent DDs and a stigma toon, SH/OL/SE is just 1 DD 2 leechers, which won't be as fast especially with the melee boosts recently meaning people can easily duo places like ToI that used to need full parties.

I never said a 6x WC/OL can out XP an 80 nuker, I said it seemed to be making similar xp/hr to a lvl 74 nuker, which can make 20-25% in a 5 hour day in FOTD/BS best spots. low 70 can make more yeah, because theres an XP hike after low 70s.

Oh and I have tried all those things. I've even gone out today to see what XP I can make on my necro. All toons OOP, conc/mystic/siren, PoWind, SE buffs and 150 mace/arcana. Mana gain on Kooka and Myself. Recharging the kooka instead of nuker to give 340 MP per recharge instead of 230 meaning endless mana. Made about 8% in the past 2 hours so good XP, but still less than a Domi could make in FoG with these buffers and requires a lot more work.

I'd take you up on your offer, but I've got all my support already and need to invest my time in poling to 83 before High Five sorry. I know theres an XP boost and I can leech off a titan but I want the SP too to make all my skills +15 and I'd rather be back stuck on single target mobs before I get FoG poling taken away from me as Domi.

What? How will the BD and SE level up? On their own? The OP is leveling up. I'm pretty sure we can assume the BD and SE will need to be leveled by the OP, as well as the OL.

A nuker doesn't need help killing MOBs that die in < 2 seconds. BD/OL will run into respawn issues in a Catacomb. The only time it will began to pass up the nuker, is at levels where field XP stagnates and multi-XP MOB XPing becomes almost compulsory. We both know where that breakpoint is.

BTW, I'm not saying the OL will level slow by any means. Just want to make that clear!

A 74 Nuker makes more than 4-5% an hour in FoTD best spots. BS is ****. I only go there on Necros when I need a change of pace (doing the same thing... puts me a sleep after a while) because FoTD is not viable for that class, especially at night. FoTD has different XP rates for day and night, as well.

Your Necro is 76, and you had a Kook on the Necro? /boggle Assuming the Kook takes 30% that's 10.4%. So around 5.2 an hour. A Necro can do factorably more than that, if it CDLs, especially with those buffs. You can't have a Kook on a Necro CDLing, not that you'd need it. With those buffs you can CDL in Arcana with a 150 Dark Mace and get 1 shot XP on it (2 shot 2x HP MOB, I go by XP/Shot vs. the MOB HP modifier, not the shots used - better way to gauge efficiency). You can CDL Center Hot Springs, as well.

With a 76+ SE a Necro doesn't need a Kook, and I didn't know leveling a Nuker required work (requires zombi-like persistence, but not work... I do agree AoEing is "funner" because there are more things to pay attention to).

Theres more XP spots for melee than catas. Pavel Ruins, EV, TOI, AL etc, all good. SH would still have to level in party with the OL/SE too so when he hits 76 (after OL/SE/BD would) he won't have a BD unless you mess with subs etc.

62 kook takes no where near 30%, maybe 5-6%. If you read my post you'd understand the maths.... Mana gain and clarity on Necro and Kook, SE uses recharge on Kook instead of necro giving it 221 MP at a cost of ~110mp. Kook Recharges Necro for 178 MP at a cost of ~100 mp. So you've just used 110mp on SE -> 356 mp on Necro rather than 230 MP for recharging necro directly, a gain of 120mp per recharge. Acumen/concentration on kook and they recharge at a pretty fast rate.

With that and only picking up drops every 7mins its about 10-11mil XP/hr with absolutely no downtime. 76-77 = 220mil XP, 11mil XP = 5% and I know I couldda pushed to XP a bit faster by targettting mobs faster and not picking up till 7mins gone.

Poling is a lot more sleepy and easy as Domi than playing nuker. No need to keep re-clicking follow, no need to keep targetting mobs. Simply have Domi pull a room and keep hitting esc/atk when the target mob is on low HP, don't need to heal with SE since ur HP rarely goes below 90% and pull room after room with the BD. Hex one mob, stand next to domi, wait 30 secs, hex one mob, stand next to domi etc. If you got multiple comps you can do this with your right hand while you control domi with left, nostromo even better.
Haha my simple post about leveling efficency got all interesting =)

ive acctually leared even more by reading ur posts =)

You can't call yourself seiging if you can't get Heals/Recharges, Clarity, and Resist Shock from a live player... Unless you mean they were dead? That sounds more like Fame Farming.

Er ure a level 79 OL and you cant get 40mil XP an hour?
IF you have a SE/BD you can easily do fog. that 40k a mob...time 10....thats 400k xp from one pull. just a manage 10 pull an hour and your set!

52k a mob in the good XP spots with support OOP and if you do it like me you just do 1 pull an hour..... 1 constant series of pulls so you never have a split seconds down time. ;)

@atg hope you've picked up some useful info mate, many people seem to underestimate the power of an orc. You should level just fine solo, but if you do make a buffer account I'd definately take at least an SE, I'd also recommend BD since that trio will unlock a lot of the game to you and support all your subs and whatever you want. While nuker isn't terrible to leech off it wouldn't be my recommendation..... if you can leech off a Titan DO IT 62-72 in FOG you can make level every two to three hours!

What are you talking about?
he doesnt realize his math is wrong......

10x40000x 100 pulls /hr= 40mil xp lol

therefor 1 pull every 40sec... not gonna happen lol
Yea, I already said that I've never seen an OL or WC pull 40M/Hr in FoG.

However, he did say 52k XP or something per kill. I guess it depends on which area in FoG you're poling.

@ 52k per mob that would be 77 pulls, 1 every 46 seconds. Correct me if I'm wrong. That still seems a bit unrealistic, if the OL is the only DD and doing his own pulling, but whatever :P
I m sorry to say, but the guys saying an OL can lvl efficiently solo are clueless.
Trensharo, which whom i ve dissagreed on the past is right at this point.
An OL cannot make same xp as a nuker in no stage of the game, except maybe 83+ (when u get onslaught)
Talking about pole on an OL is laughable when u can hit 4-6 mobs, while a DN/titan can hit 15-20, with better accurasy and attack speed.
They relly on vr, not on pdef, and its actually better.
Nukers can lvl in solo areas throughout the game which is faster and better xp than an OL can make with minimum support.
When i did aoe fog on 83+ (with onslaught-which does WAY more dmg than any pole) i needed a live healer and a sws at least. Still leeching behind a nuker at FOS/FOW is decent.

in any way to the OP, find a titan/dn/nuker to xp with you, u wont regret it. Solo is the last option for a OL, u are better off in a melee group

I'm sorry to say mate, but you are completely clueless and ... well I won't resort to flaming.

OL poling is strong, SAME atk speed as titan, 80 OL has SAME accuracy as 78 titan with oly epic, P.Def is highly important when 20 mobs are hitting on you and VR ISNT better, what servers do you play on, on live it's been nerfed. I hunt with VR 4, VR Dance and PoWind on BOTH my 78 titan and my 80-82 Domi. Titan can't handle half as many mobs as the Domi and dies more often, same gear, same spots, same buffs and heals. Domi has only 400 less p.atk than Titan yet 1k+ more p.def/700+ more m.def and clears mobs at exactly the same speed as Titan with less deaths!

Theres at least 3 Domis on here who confirm poling is great (40mil xp/hr) on a Domi and you still call them clueless. Heck I don't even have a dynasty pole yet, I'm using a +0 Saint spear with guidance not haste! Oh and LOL at you complaining onslaught needs healers and sws... it might do a little more damage than a pole, but not much and you don't get VR from it... duh! Onslaught is a nice skill, but it's only similar to earthquake, pole crits with the right buffs do similar damage. Maybe if you weren't always leeching off nukers and hunting dark blue mobs with onslaught of paagrio on whatever servers you did it, then you might have had time to try poling yourself, and maybe learned to spell?

So many people arguing against proven fact that people have done by spouting out theories, lol. With the pulling thing if you take the time to read my posts I said theres no downtime for pulls.... it's just a constant pile of 20+ on pulling rooms of 15-20 mobs every minute orso (pull about 2-3 rooms of 15-20 mobs in between every dance round).

Theory is all great, you can say what you want, but it can't beat those who've been there and done it! I own and play a Dominator and a Titan with my housemate. I was making 10% in 3 hours with the vit buff at 81! I've spent enough time poling to get myself over 160,000 Torches and I've made over 10billion XP over a few toons in the past 3 months poling.... I think I know how the classes shape up next to each other!

People r so cluless about teh game, cos I knoe u cant do it even tho dey have teh toonz and have been doin teh stuff.

It's ok, you all just be happy with what you're doing, I'll keep myself to myself and be 83/78/78/78 by next month and chuckle to myself when you're moaning about how XP sucks and are quitting again.
dude i hate to repeat myself but you ARE clueless.

Since 83 i ve pulled 10-12 rooms in fog (i had other ppl pull to me) killing nonstop with onslaught. Now your argument is that pole can hit just as hard as onslaught, which is wrong, with dances/prophecy it crits harder, BUT pole hits 4 or 6 mobs, while onslaught will hit all the 30mobs around you, its reuse beeing also 1~second, letting you do a normal hit to regen some mp. I ve efficiently aoed with onslaught every aoe location in game, including IT, GC, and that schuttgart area with pyramids (dont remember name).

I do not like exping in Fog, cus since 84 mobs are deep blue, and there for xp penalty is too big.
I have also been in group with titans/DN's, which can do what I can do in a much more efficient way.

Also 40m/hour is the xp an OL with BP/sws in party (oop supports also) can do in fog, pulling 8 rooms (with onslaught always). If it was so easy to xp an OL, you wouldnt see everyone crying about it.

About what u said from servers and such...
I am playing on Teon, i am a lvl 85 dominator Clan leader of one of the dominant clans and i m pretty sure i got/have access to gear/toons u ll take 1-2 years to get.
You on the other hand are playing on erica, which is sayha i guess.

I love how you tell someone whose saying what they've been doing for the past 100 orso hours ingame clueless..... I know **** well what XP a domi can make because I've been maing it, with gimp gear to boot!

Why'd you call me clueless then make a whole paragraph to confirm what I said? Pole crits hit harder than onslaught with the right buffs..... I didn't say they hit more mobs or that a pole kills faster overall simply that pole crits do more damage.

If OL with oop support pulling 8 rooms with onslaught only makes 40mil XP/hr then it can't be that good really then can it since a lower level Domi with the same OOP support can make 40 mil XP/hr with a +0 saint spear. I assume you've got +6 dynasty, 300 ele weapons and resists and so on too, congrats you make the XP I make with 100x the gear and support.

Of course now I've hit 82 FoG only seems to give 30mil an hour orso since everythings light blue, but I haven't spent much time testing it recently since I've been plvling my new sub.
It's ok, you all just be happy with what you're doing, I'll keep myself to myself and be 83/78/78/78 by next month and chuckle to myself when you're moaning about how XP sucks and are quitting again.

next month=august ?? :p

so in 4 days you will be 83/78/78/78 ?? :p

An OL doesn't have as much P.Atk as a Titan. A Titan can pull every 2-3 minutes, many rooms and use skills to kill the huge trains fast.

VR is much better on a Titan or DN than on an OL, becuase they hit way more MOBs and can thus pole more mobs safely. Since they get WAY more HP back from VR, the P.Def of an OL is non-factor in the comparison. They are way better than an OL poling. There isn't even any contest. A Titan or DN can level an OL faster in party than an OL can level itself solo with a pole - at least pre-83.

And of course, they can also level in better areas like Green Spot, Tullys, etc.

Lots of people try to confirm lots of things on here.

This person is talking about things that he's done. You can pull 15 mobs on an OL np, but an OL will not kill them fast enough to get the amount of pulls needed to get the type of XP/Hr you claim, because they don't hit that many MOBs with a pole. You act like I've never seen an OL poling FoG. SpleensWife on Bartz does it all the time (82 Dominator, prolly better gear than you).

This person said they've done it before. VIT buffs don't last forever, so I don't know why you keep bringing them up. That's 3.3% in 3 hours without the VIT Buff, hardly monumental.

People r so cluless about teh game, cos I knoe u cant do it even tho dey have teh toonz and have been doin teh stuff.
Oh wow. You're resorting to the types of insults that you tried to accuse me of upthread. Great!

Weren't you just telling him to learn to spell?

It's ok, you all just be happy with what you're doing, I'll keep myself to myself and be 83/78/78/78 by next month and chuckle to myself when you're moaning about how XP sucks and are quitting again.

Not after the pole VR nerf. However, both Titan and DN hit harder and kill faster than OL, which adds to HP balance.

But stlii, considering the limited mob respawn rate and the need to share the XP between the DD and the leecher, the XP from soloing could be on par to (or even to be better than) the XP from leeching from another class.

Thank you, exactly as I was trying to explain both with leeching off a titan and leeching off an SH. I think VR works for first 8 mobs is it, 1st mob full VR, then half, then half, then half and so on? So hitting 6 mobs is only like 2 mobs at 10% full VR less. More p.def/M.def works against all 30 mobs hitting you though meaning you take exponentially less damage!

Heres one for you maths and stats guys..

I dunno exactly how the p.def calculations work but lets assume that it's something like p.atk*70/p.def for ease of calculation.......

Titan has 1500 p.def in IC, Domi 2500. Mob p.atk of 1500 would hit Titan for 70 damage, x20 mobs x 20 hits a minute (once every 3 seconds) = 28000 damage a minute. Same for Domi, ((1500*70)/2500))*20*20 = 16800. 11200 damage a minute less for the Dominator.

Now for the VR, since nerf in like C5 first mob gives 100%, then 50%, then 25% and so on for I think 8 mobs so 100+50+25+12.5+7.25+3.6+1.8+0.9 = 201.05% VR for a Titan on a full train compared to hitting one mob. Domi would get 198.35% VR..... So how much do they get in VR? Titan and Domi both have same atk speed and crit rate so you can just assume 1/5 hits will be a crit and they'll make one swing every 2 seconds.

Titan has 2k p.atk, Domi 1500. Assume mob p.def is decent for a mob, like 400. This gives Titan damage of ((2000*70)/400)*1.7 for element damage, 595 damage a hit. Crits would be (1190*1.35) + (1190*0.35) for DW/Fire dance, 2023. Domi 453 normal dmg, 1540 crit. Multiply base attack by 30 for hitting a single mob then replace 1/5 hits with crits.....Titan (595*30) + ((2023-595)*(30*0.2)) = 26418 damage a minute. Domi = 20112 damage a minute.

Titan makes 11154 HP back a minute off VR, Domi 8377 HP back a minute. For 20 mobs constantly that means the Titan is losing 16486 HP a minute and Domi 8423, half that of the Titan!

All those stats are with full BD/SWS/Domi/SE buffs and GSAP including PoWind, which actually works more in favor of the titan since DOmi's strength comes from fixed boosts from soulcry/guard while Titan has high base stats. Element defense isn't used since it doesn't seem to help against physical attacks from mobs in FoG. They are all from my toons ingame also with the same gear. Bit of maths for you there anyway to tell you stuff I've been trying to say for ages from my experience in game.

To sum it all up, Titan can hit more targets yeah, but they can't handle more mobs on them so you've either gotta pull-kill, pull-kill then wait for healer MP to regen or keep a constant stream of a few mobs on you. The fact is 80 Domi can keep up against the respawn on exactly the same amount of rooms as a 78 Titan and needs a lot less healing. Titans do have frenzy/guts/zealot but they have pretty long re-use delays and are needed to stop you from dieing all the time. Of course higher level or with better gear titan >>>> Domi no question, they could pull bigger trains in better XP spots and when you start getting higher base p.atk weapons/Armor such as a Dynasty then Titan will overtake Domi leaps and bounds.

YES an 80 Domi can pull 40mil XP/Hr in by poling, and YES Domi is a better poler in some respects than a 7x Titan. Domi can pole 3 rooms of constant pulls and keep up with respawn, that's about the same as a 78 titan can manage. You can't kill more mobs if they're not there! You've got to be more careful with a Titan also since you can't handle as man mobs at once so theres either lots of deaths or need for mana breaks. Titan does have guts/frenzy/zealot but they're only up for 1-1.5 minutes and have a long re-use, they're needed for when you start dying. Titan could also kill fast pulling massive trains using those skills, but it'd only be a margin better than domi doing constant pulls since theres a lot of downtime and definately not worth sharing the XP when a Domi could pull more solo than leeching.
This person said they've done it before. VIT buffs don't last forever, so I don't know why you keep bringing them up. That's 3.3% in 3 hours without the VIT Buff, hardly monumental.

LOL! You have no idea who you're replying to...

With the Vit it's 4% an hour for 2 hours at 81 then another 2% burning from vit 4-0 (5mins?) and doing a bit extra to make the XP up to 10%. I wouldn't say that's bad going at all!

SpleensWife is always in FoG yeah, really nice guy and better gear than me. He's got a +3 PvP dyn pole with crit stun and a Zaken. Was him who actually showed me a domi could pole which inspired me to get my SE to 78 and buy a pole in the first place. He spends a lot of time partying with throw together groups, helping others XP and hates boxes. While I usually either play with my housemate/brother or box my support and party with others once in a while when someone needs grp, Spleen was making 40mil XP/Hr at 81 too.

I know who I'm replying to, Dunno your level but you seem to have a couple of 80+ toons and wander round goddard/giran with "Quitting" as your titles, or along those lines.

VR benefits just decrease by half for each subsequent MOB.

However, hitting 15 MOBs gives more HP back than hitting 5, because the first 5 MOBs that a Titan or DN hits will still give as much HP back as an OL hitting 5. They HP they get back from VR just degrades at each hit past that. VR on a Pole Class is more effective/efficient than on a non-pole class. Can't believe I even have to respond to this.

The XP you get from leaching from a non-pole class in FoG can easily usurp what an OL can get solo, because FoG respawn is fast and a Titan/DN can make much larger pulls than an OL and kill them faster.

It takes them less time to get the same amount of XP that an OL gets.

They can also XP in places that an OL cannot solo with that kind of support, casue everyone doesn't want to level to 85 in FoG, you know...
Not after the pole VR nerf. However, both Titan and DN hit harder and kill faster than OL, which adds to HP balance.
Yeah we hit harder and faster, but the VR nerf isn't all that bad, it's still safer to hit more mobs like Tren said.
Each little bit of HP we get back, helps.

A Titan only needs to pull every 2-3 minutes, because in those 1-2 minutes of skills, they will kill more MOBs than an OL can kill in the same span of time, many more. And because of those skills, the effectiveness of their VR is better.

I've seen Titans pole Tullies. To talk about them having to wait for a healer to regen mana... That is quite naive...

LOL @ Talking about an 80 Dominator compared to a 78 Titan...

The faster you kill the MOBs. The faster they respawn.

If a Titan can kill 3 rooms faster than an OL (and a 78 Titan can do this, faster than an 80 OL), then the room will pop faster and they will be able to pull again, sooner.

They also don't absolutely need their skills to pole FoG. It just destroys the MOBs that much faster. With VR4, PoW, Olympiad Jewel a 78 Titan can steamroll any place an OL can. An OL is never a better poler than a Titan. If that's what you wanna think, then whatever. Lol.

SpleensWife doesn't get 40M/Hr. Lol. Most of his throw-together groups include a 80 (now 81, he dinged a couple weeks ago) Titan, BD, SWS, and a bunch of low level leachers with an SR pulling and normally a DC Buffer and SE Healer/PoW. He did try poling solo when I was in group with him on my SE, and I ended up using half my mana healing him.

Gratz on knowing who you're replying to. With my In-Game and Forum name being the same, and my server listed under it... I wouldn't have known you could find me! But SHHHH!

LOL, did you not read the lengthly maths I did about VR/P.def in my last post, I put it in quotes so people who just skim read posts and wtire tldr didn't have to read it. VR is only like 1% more efficient on a pole class than non-pole class!

Re-use on frenzy/guts is what, 10minutes? Zealot 6 minutes (pretty dodgy though since half heals)... that's 8 minutes out of 20 poling if you only pull with skills. LOL at 78 Titan vs 80 Domi yeah, but I'm using that comparison because that's the toons I have and that's the toons I use daily to get my opinion from!!!!!!!!! You haven't done either yet claim all this stuff, LOL. Targets hit, p.atk or whatever, the fact is that the Domi clears the same amount of rooms in the same amount of time as the Titan and they make similar XP/hr so putting it in duo is slower! I know this **** well because I've leeched from 58-72 off my Titan with exactly the same gear and buffs as my domi has and constantly checked the sp/hr in different spots, on both toons, with different techniques and took 100s of deaths in the name of research and improvement!

Titan don't need skills to pole no, I rarely use them unless I'm dying. Plus if you read my post you'll notice I say that an 80+ Titan will >>>>>> Domi any day because they get more boost from weapon/armor base stats and can pole other places like tullys and so on.... you don't need to repeat it for me thanks.
SpleensWife doesn't get 40M/Hr. Lol. Actually I've never seen spleen party with a titan apart from when he was leeching his destro sub off me. Never seen him with an SWS apart from mine and he mostly seems to have a 78 SE and possibly BD not often a DC or SR though he might've found a constant grp recently. He told me he was making ~1% an hour at 81 Duo with a 78 SE, seems a little exaggerated since I had SE/BD/SWS OOP to make 40mil at that level but he does have a dyn pole giving him 2k p.atk, a lot more than me, plus he has both haste and summoner lore sub skills, me only haste.

I know who you are because I saw your toons ages ago before speaking to you on here and thought... that guy seems a bit emo with quitting in his title, wonder if he's selling cheap stuff? Then realised you were him. :p
@tha_don let the haters hate, more and more i come too think that thresnaro only disagree too disagree. All his 5k pionts on this forum lol consist of basically NO your wrong i know it better...now thats what i call a carebear.

just level too 83 get onslaught....pull 2 rooms in lower fog and kill then in less then 2 mins. Ask Nuku, he saw me doing it and i stole his spot,,,muahah

Ps i must admit onslaught is better then a pole. I do with se buffs and mine or me and DC buffs... around 2.6k per mob i hit..critting for 5-5.5k.
Mobs literally fall down in chunks.

Piont being ..do what works for you.what does it matter in the end what is better as long as you enjoy it
Yes Neiji, Onslaught is pretty hax, it sure is faster then poling for an OL, but what i've seen it's about the same speed as a DN pole that amount of mobs (think i can crit those mobs for about 6k (no BJ's)).

Oh and lol at VandaI failing to kill my A-grade Prophet with confusing mobs + onslaughting her :D
i am gonna agree with stan and tren on this one.
Most funny thing is, original OP asked about OL lvl up...
I guess he is now running in B grade stuff somewhere in forsaken Plains or in Outlow

Same time we manage to skip 20 lvl's and discussion is about :
If 83 Domi can exp faster then DN 83 :p

lol, yup, I tried to keep it on that but Tenshero kept going on about SHs and Titans and stuff........ My point was with SE/BD he'd lvl just as fast as leeching off a SH/SE and 76+ till high five comes he could make great XP in FoG and have some uber support toons, better than leeching off SH/SE any day!
VR benefits just decrease by half for each subsequent MOB.
However, hitting 15 MOBs gives more HP back than hitting 5,
Yep, all those 3% more HP. However, non-pole classes with SAed poles do not hit 5 mobs. They hit 9 (due to SA bonus).

Titans' ability to better heal themselves with VR does not come from those extra mobs. It comes from their ability to constantly keep Rage (+50% PAtk at the cost of just 20% of PDef with polearm), as well as from better accuracy with polearm on higher evasion mobs.

The XP you get from leaching from a non-pole class in FoG can easily usurp what an OL can get solo, because FoG respawn is fast and a Titan/DN can make much larger pulls than an OL and kill them faster.
FoG respawn is only "fast" if you pull on your DD toon. If you use a box BD or (better) a lowbie SwS friend to pull, the respawn is kinda slow.

It takes them less time to get the same amount of XP that an OL gets.
Them soloing? Yes. OL leeching from them? I wouldn't be so sure. Of course if they aren't 85 and 100%.

They can also XP in places that an OL cannot solo with that kind of support
Give NC West a month, and there will be more places where an OL could survive than where a Titan could.
/sarcasm on
i am amazed that you do 40m/hour without epics, just olympiad jewels!
imagine what you could do with full epic set, u could propably hit 5%hour
/sarcasm off
If it was possible for an OL to do 40/hour with just bd/se pulling 3 rooms in fog at lvl 80~, everyone would have rerolled to OL.
You are not the only person to ever tried pole aoe with an OL, you are just the only person who finds it so imba.
Lets face it like that, 3 rooms in fog dont give enough xp to reach 40m/hour unless u are overhitting em all on spawn with oneshot :D

PS1: i dont like dynasty, its a sucky armor for an OL.
PS2: onslaught cant crit, i ve been checking it since the day i got it, which is over 6 months ago, and i ve never managed to see a single crit.
It does about the same damage you would do critting with a normal swing having wc buffs/prophecy(no crit dmg)/epics. Its big advantage is that it hits all the mobs around you.
FoG respawn is only "fast" if you pull on your DD toon. If you use a box BD or (better) a lowbie SwS friend to pull, the respawn is kinda slow.
Why would a set respawn time be any different if you pull with different classes ?

Full epic set? What 15% more crit dmg off an aq and like 3 atk speed off a baium... major damage difference!!! Actually It'd be inetersting what I couldda made with a +3 or higher/300 element Dynasty pole rather than a +0/150 saint spear.

It is quite possible for an 80 OL to pull 40/hour in FoG personally I had OOP SWS as well as BD/SE but as I already said I only got a +0 SS not ++ Dyn pole like some do and theres other stuff like active/passive crit on sub skills and augments that I don't have. I had +1 acc +15 crit aug but had to take it off to swap spear to Titan.

P.S.1 Agree Dyn sucks, I still rock arcana till Destiny comes out (or Vesper Noble when I'm high enough level).

Also Re-spawn rate doesn't matter when you're clocking up the same XP rates, Titan/OL seem to pull the same amount of rooms to keep on top of re-spawn but it is a fair point that killing faster will set off the re-spawn time faster, so you could have a pile of mobs on you that are stopping the room respawn. On the other hand Domi often clears all the mobs before puller gets back so yeah they do kill pretty fast. :p
the only thing which gives you the benefit of the doubt is, that i was already 82/83 when they remodeled fog, i ve never xp'd there with mobs on white colour.
Xp was ok at 83 but after 84 i was getting 6k/mob in full group.

ps1:I still find your figures over reality.
ps2: baium gives also crit dmg, i dont remember exact number but both should give 25-30% also, fr gives reflect, anthy/zaken vr
ps3: Vesper noble rocks
Why would a set respawn time be any different if you pull with different classes ?

It depends on how much you pull.

When I play OL with a dreadnought, we do the bug spot in FOG and pull 2 top left, 2 top right, 2-3 bottom left and 1 bottom right.

After they are all dead, we usually have to wait for spawns.

When I play OL with a destro, we usually only pull top 2 left, then when they are dead, top 2 right.

There is little to no wait for spawn.

It has more to do with what's available to pull than the set respawn.
Yes after Ferine's explaination i understood what was meant, sometimes there's need for a Krissa-tolk.

Yeah at 82 the XP's dropped significantly, the 40mil/hr spots now make 30mil and the rest less. spot is also very important, theres only 3 spots in the pladce where you can make max XP and those still vary slightly between them. I've noticed recently that Titan is also highly reliant on positioning, just a few millimetres movement can make a difference between dying to 10 mobs or chewing through 40 with no problems. If you want max XP on Domi then don't go near the bugs, mercs, knights or ashuras, not tried stakatos and golems/ifrits/drakes are all high p.def so not bothered with them apart from when people trained me.

P.S. 2: Oly ring gives same crit dmg as aq/baium @ 15% unless they changed it, I'd actually take Oly + Baium over AQ + Baium since they're give 60% root resist/chance instead of 50% when stacked. And Zaken/Anth don't add to kill speed, just defense. :)

PS3: Hell yeah it does, need to find out how to get it and start working on it, Destiny looks sick on Orc mages though, miles better than dynasty (hate the halo personally).
I kinda like the way Dynasty Looks on Orc Mages.

They have a lot of Armor sets which look decent on them, though.

I'm still trying to figure out why there is a fur collar on IC Heavy for Dark Elves...
destiny looks kinda like vesper not noble, maybe my memory is bad but when i had it w/o noble it looked similar, at least in colours.
Stupid stockings dropped on noble already :P
The new baby blue armor sets look terrible.

Lol.
Hey again all. about the thread and discussion going further its np, i wrote somewhere on page 2-3 that ive got info i need for the state i am at now, and still ill will come up to 80+ lvl so i will need the info that are discussed at the moment aswell so keep it going, im learning alot here,

Greatful for all info this has given me
Stan, it's possible for an ol with the right gear/set up to do really quite well melee wise.. my friend has done 80 - 84 in alil more then 6 months with bd & dc (oop) xping in fog/stakato nest and ofc leaching whenever I was playing but still he does fine.. just saying both options are valid and has it benefits I wouldn't go so far as say one of them is "wrong" :)

ol's can be a very versatile class, it all depends on what one focus on to achieve.

ps, I do get emo when an ol with soulcry (oe'd) on has way more patt then me >"< lucky for me that will be fixed in High Five as then my class get's a nice selfbuff ^^
pps, the regular vesper robe looks badazz on orc mages
i never said OL is pimp melee, just doubted his ability to pole that good
I like to trio on my 79 GK, 79 Domi, 78 SD. Do sod and blockade on big pulls and just let the GK rock them.

Imo the Domi is not a bad poler, but better to support a true DD class like GK/Titan/DN. I've tried mixing it up a few ways after reading threads similair to this. And since my toons can share the same gear I think it tests well. In everyway I've tried it the GK dominates (hehe) over the dominator in aoe. My domi gets more xp in the trio party with the GK, supporting with SOD and or other debuffs, then the domi soloing/duoing with SD.

I played with a domi on pts, was fun using onslaught, solo'ing stakatos, solo'ing 3 big groups at power training fields, etc. Can't wait to have fun with it 83+ when i'm sure the aoe discussion for a domi intenses. GM's have also been stressing crowd control in the new zones, giving 80+ Domis more to do :)

P.S. I have a 79 STS, its definately faster to fog aoe then duo'ing on them at Dino. That said I hunt on the plains I haven't spent much time in the lost nest, just cause I don't like it, even with lvl 75 bird I run out of mp there, I don't like down time. I guess the important thing is as long as your making xp.... but I'd rather make it at fog...
If you run out of MP at Dino Field or Nest, it's cause you're terrible.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Dino.

You have to be a complete t ard to run out of MP there. Most mages routinely have 4+ MP herbs on the ground there at a time, and they stay there long enough for you to kill everything in the general vacinity and start moving on to other (nearby) MOBs - so you don't degrade your XP that much to get them.

They drop often enough for you to just wait for a Superior to drop and the chances of you going OOM between two superiors is as close to NIL as ever.

Seriously, though...

You're terrible if you're running out of MP in Dino, especially with a Kook behind you...

And no, I wouldn't level a Dominator at 79+ in Dino Field. Nest or go home at those levels. Field is for solo people - pure solo - not duos/trios or people trying to PL toons as quickly as possible behind the nuker. They give similar XP to a Blazing Swamp MOB there, just with better MOB density and respawn. It's a terrible XP spot even for soloers, if you have decent buffers. Most mage-oriented areas in the game are (at 77+ levels).
Let me help clarify since you cannot read properly.

1. I did not say I ran out of mp on the PLAINS. Of course it its obvious about the MP herbs there. Thank you captain obvious.

2. I did say I DO run out of mp in the lost nest.

3. I DID say I haven't spent much time there in the nest. Clearly stating how it was for ME. and CLEARLY I haven't spent much time in the lost nest

4. I have been in the nest maybe 3 full buff rounds, haven't gotten a single mp herb drop there. Maybe they drop there and I was unlucky, anyways... with the LIMITED experience I had in the NEST, I decided with the xp I earned and lack of mp I saw there was enough to turn ME off the spot compared to what I get in other spots with the DOMI. Which was my point.

Good job making the same point I was making, to bad your lack of reading skills preventing you from seeing that.

If you feel you know everything about the NEST, put some of your forum trolling skills to use and help players with a guide. At least do something useful instead of "bashing" on other ppl for trying to share their own experience and help someone.
Unless you're AoEing in Lost nest it's the same as the field, except you XP roughly twice as fast since you should be always 2 shotting a MOB in either place.

If you're running out of MP at all in any of those places, you're terrible.

Has nothing to do with me misreading your post. I read it well. Perhaps you should read mine.

The fact that you haven't spend "MUCH" time in Lost Nest doesn't mean you haven't been there at all.

So I'll repeat myself:

If any nuker is running out of MP at Dino, they're terribad. If any nuker is running out of MP at dino with a 7x Kook, they need to delete their toon and uninstall.

It's impossible to run OOM (or even low on mana) at Dino, unless you're actually trying to do it (in which case it's rather trivial, right?).

Why lie on the intenet? Here's a quote:

So, I got owned by you ridiculous run-on sentence?
2. I did say I DO run out of mp in the lost nest.

You only have to spend 5 minutes in nest to see that it's impossible to run out of MP there. MP Herbs drop like flies in that place.

4. I have been in the nest maybe 3 full buff rounds, haven't gotten a single mp herb drop there. You're a terrible liar.

I never said - anywhere in this thread - that I'd level a Domi in Dino. I've always stated (read the thread) that once you get in those S Grade levels Melee/DD/Polers become better PLvlers than Nukers due to the horrible XP Progression in Nuker leveling areas.

We're not making the same point. If anything, you're making my point... I'm pretty sure I was in this thread before you knew it existed.

If you feel you know everything about the NEST, put some of your forum trolling skills to use and help players with a guide. At least do something useful instead of "bashing" on other ppl for trying to share their own experience and help someone.
I stopped doing guides years ago.

If someone needs a guide to play this 5 year old game, they're complete and utter t ards.

This is my guide:
Search Worksâ„¢
Do you even know what a forum troll is? Nevermind. Don't even bother answering that.

I'm pretty sure you are in any thread before anyone else... good for you.

FYI, primeval Isle hasn't existed in game for 5 years.

Done posting about this with a T ard that can't even follow the flow of a sentence. (oops see below)

Buh Bye Now Tren.

Oh BTW

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion

Calling people t ards and terrible players and so on is "trolling." My source? its called "search", its a powerful tool on the internet, forgot who mentioned something like that...
If you're running OOM at PI, you're a t ard and you're terrible, especially if you have a 75 kook. Any part of PI, unless you solo TRexes there, which I sincerely doubt.

Calling a re-re out is not trolling. You have to be a severe downer to not see how ridiculous that part of your post was.

Either you were overstating more than I've ever seen before, or you're outright lying.
