To my knowledge, all first-characters will be level 85, and there can only be one top-level character per account. This may change, as we are still tinkering around with settings. Cryo is masterminding the whole PTS process and we will have lots of details and instructions for your once it's all finalized. There will be GMshops and you will have sufficient Adena. :)
Looking forward to the PTS and then the Update. Will be interesting to see the new changes/new gear and how hard it will be to kill Anthy and Valakas and now Freya :D

I want to suggest smth. Two characters on 85lv or atleast a one subclass on 80lv.
Why ? For example I would like to test SwordMuse on PTS with new armors weapons etc. but I think it will be better to test new locations (check drop/check mobs power etc.) on a character that can w/o any problems go there solo and do it. For example Archer on Plains of Lizardmens. It is just my opinion. :)

I believe that the first time any L2 account logs into the PTS server, you will have the option to create a level 85 character. I'm sure you won't be the only person to not log in on Day 1, so it should be easy enough to contact a GM online and get yourself some of the snazzy new gear. :)

Imo there is no reason to make any limits at all on PTS. It wont hurt you, and it will favor players :)
They have the limits pre-set by the Korean team. Then they can try to make changes on their own, but the history shows that such changes don't work well from the first try, so...

Okay, we have a set time for when Freya PTS will open! :) You should be able to log in at Thursday, July 29th at 12pm PDT / 2pm CDT / 3pm EDT / 7pm UTC/GMT. This is also when the Freya Preview Site and the Patch Notes will be accessible.
The PTS patchers are now functional. You can update your PTS clients and be all set for tomorrow! :D Exciting!
