L2.bin fix :)
Users that have experienced L2.bin crashes when having two or more client windows open at the same time should see a drastic improvement. There is still a possibility that L2.bin crashes may occur, because this error message is a generic message that can be caused by a variety of issues. Moving forward, please be sure to send a Technical Support ticket (http://help.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/ncsoft.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php?p_sid=Y1kNTT5k&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYnk9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfc m93X2NudD0xMDAzLDEwMDMmcF9wcm9kcz0mcF9jYXRzPSZwX3B 2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX 25sJnBfcGFnZT0x) if you receive L2.bin crashes, including the text or a screenshot of error message itself.

I only got the L2.bin crashes if I was running more than one client with the setting for "Decrease Background Performance" checked. If I uncheck it I would no longer get the crashes but I would use a lot more cpu and gpu processing power.
I'll have to check that off now and see if the crashes come back or not to test this out. Thanks for the info Sace.
the nice advantage to having the setting unchecked though is that moving from one client to the next produced no lag.. and you got fluid smooth play even on the inactive screens..
If you're seeing more L2.bin errors, can you let us know the scenario in which you experience it? Are you running multiple clients or a single client? Is there any pattern you notice that causes the crash? If so, can you provide specific steps that will lead to the crash?
I'm pretty sure it's a combination problem between O.S. and L2.
For example i run XP and seem to never have a problem with L2 crashes.
So far i've read that some ppl that are using W7 are having the most problems with L2, not sure if it's O.S. related, an update, compatibility, some (3rd party) program or something else that is causing it.
