Heya, I'm new to the game. I rolled an Elven Elder. I'm currently level 20. I was hoping you guys could give me some advice on areas to level and how to go about it.

Etc, etc.
Preferably good mage spots that drop herbs. Thanks =)
Also, is there a pet I should get. A kookubura or a Great Wolf?
Better you also post what setup you have, armor, tats, weapon that can change a lot the XP places.
About the pet Kookaburra all the time, is your best friend and when you get it over 55 you will never regret it, wolf only it is ridable for the fun to level just forget that :)

If you have access to top equipment and have a second account, going to 40 is less than a day of work. No knowledge of mage side needed ;)
Yeah created a toon 2 or 3 days ago and follow that newbie guide, I was amazed got level 20 in like one hour and ended up with a huge load of ng shots, I think my main took over one week to get the first class done :)
when you hit 20 try to get someone for the kamaloka in Gludio is one ding in 20 minutes doing something fun, something between 30 - 40 there is a quest in Gludin for a XP / Jewels reward, jewels are nice for a starting toon and the XP is a lot too, can't remember how much but thing was 40% in 30 minutes with a shadow weapon :)

I'd avoid Pirates tunnel though unless your just being healer for a DD/party. I tried pirates tunnel way back when and it hurt. Of course didn't have newbie buffs or inquist then either. I did a lot of upper B-grade to lower A-grade at the cemetary too. Again with newbie buffs now a days....could be a lot easier and the inquist skill helps a lot. The rest of the list looks pretty good to me.
Once you hit like 58 or so...just try to find a nuker to recharge and pick up after in VoS and FotD. Best way to level besides maybe healing for aoe groups. and do those kamas! Best bet is parties....the only time I really ever really successfully level'd my toon solo was 70+ at FotD and then when I finally got an AM w/ 150 holy at 78 and moved to dino island.
Near Giran Harbour is entrance .. but you need to swim.
If you see something like destroy bridge .. just swim a bit ahead and you should see entrance to cave.
Inside there are some kind of catacombs.
I think mobs are ONLY undead.
But I might be wrong, haven't been ages there.
P.S. At end of that maze you can find famous Zaken :D

Since this is a significant change, which C and B grade armor and weapon(CA) would u suggest?
Do you have money for 2 sets? For nukind, demon would be nice, with high matk weapon. For party healing, karmian and acumen weapon (don't have to be hommu, I used mysterious sword).
At b grade I was mainly healing in parties so I used karmian/acu sword. Later on I took bw robes and used sword of valhalla.

Always cast speed.
C: Karmian + Hum (SA cast) - or any other weapon with that SA
B: Avadon + SoV (SA cast)
Humul you can get easly OE++++ if you take dagger/sword do OE (+6 is not problem) and then change in BS to nuker weapon.
Karmian and Avadon are available at NPC shops.
When you hit A ofc DC set.
As A grade you should have some parties and then weapon should not be so crucial.
Apart of it since HF5 all low A grade will be at NPC shops so there will be no problem to buy them.
